A Quest For Kings

Level: Major

Objective:

  • Advancement of Byakugan→Tenseigan
  • One Half of the Kyuubi→Kurama

Quest Description/Desired NPC:

Prelude: Death of the Empress

1. It has been months now since Omoi Sorikata, wife of Emperor Kurotsuchi left on a trip. The empress of the Abraxus empire, left with the intention of visiting other family members. The Kunoichi had informed her husband that she would be away for a little while. Unknown to him though, there are forces working from the shadows. And it is these very sources that took away something so precious from himself.

1a. In an attempt to ascertain Omoi's whereabouts. A convoy was deployed to Carpathia where the empress was last seen. The convoy sent by the Emperor soon reported back, that Omoi was nowhere to be found. At this stage Kurotsuchi will seek to find the love of his life himself. On his travels, the hidden hand sends their minions. At least two A-rank baddies to fight Kurotsuchi and prevent him from finding out the truth. To even begin to understand what had happened. Kurotsuchi went off the rumors that he'd heard through the grapevine. This prompted him to take action, which took him to Galahad. There he comes across the baddies, battles them and hopes he wins.

1b. Assuming he wins, he soon discovers that the baddies were being manipulated by something else. This other "something" so turns out to be an Otsutsuki clan members. Thus the introduction of Kurotsuchi's sister, Otsutsuki Yourichi. This woman is the middle child and Kurotsuchi's older sister.

Yourichi Otsutsuki:  Kurotsuchi no Quest Female_naruto_adoptable_13_by_bayneezone-d67mqp7

Yourichi was born four years before Kurotsuchi, and three years after their eldest sibling. Despite her appearance, she is quite capable of wielding the Byakugan, along with the bone pulse Jutsu. She is quite skilled and rather fearsome in combat. However, what drives her is her resentment towards Kurotsuchi. It was her younger sibling who stole her limelight. And so she felt as if she was tossed to the wayside. Not to mention, she didn't agree with their father's decision to name Kurotsuchi as the successor. Shortly after Kurotsuchi was made his father's successor at a young age. Yourichi, along with their eldest sibling Kagetsu deserted the Abraxus empire. They clearly harbored ill will towards their sibling. But this was left unchecked.

Next→ A battle between Yourichi and Kurotsuchi breaks out, each demonstrating their skills. Exchanging witty words, showing of emotion, reminiscing on past times and what could have been. They have a show down in Galahad. At which point, Kagetsu arrives on the scene with Omoi as their prisoner. The battle between Yourichi and Kurotsuchi came to a stop momentarily. At this point, Kurotsuchi had to witness the brutal murder of Omoi before his very eyes. The two elder siblings vanish, leaving Kurotsuchi to mourn, pick up the pieces and bury Omoi.

Attack on Abraxus:

After the death of Omoi and with Kurotsuchi still morning her passing. The eldest of the siblings decided to make a move on the Abraxus empire. In doing so, he brought along the calamity that is the Kyuubi with himself. Kagetsu attacked the Abraxus, and so a fierce battle ensued between himself and Kurotsuchi. A great deal of devastation and carnage was left in their wake. The Kyuubi rampaged since it had no host, but was under the control of Kagetsu. With this happening, the opportunity would present itself for Kurotsuchi to seal the Kyuubi. Fight ends with Kurotsuchi sealing the beast. Or probably get his ass handed to him during the fight. The latter would be perfect. No doubt, the two would share some history together. A similar situation to what happened when Kurotsuchi met Yourichi.

Kagetsu Otsutsuki:

Kurotsuchi no Quest Tumblr_inline_nkdsy0Vq4Y1roukqk

Kagetsu Otsutsuki is the eldest of three children, and also sibling to Kurotsuchi. Kagetsu Otsutsuki is a rather highly skilled Shinobi with a frightening degree of skill too. Kagetsu was once hailed as the second coming of the Fabled Prince. He was revered among the Otsutsuki, but he also cherished power above all else. Things took a turn for the worse as Kurotsuchi began to grow older. The two eldest siblings noticed a difference in Kurotsuchi. And with the attention that the younger sibling received. Kagetsu along with Yourichi began to plot against their sibling. Once Kagetsu was named the successor, Kurotsuchi was to be disposed off. However, with a shocking turn of events. Kagetsu's plans was ruined. As a result his resentment towards Kurotsuchi grew fierce. The man even denounced his family and left with his sister.

Absolution:

Kurotsuchi suffered a defeat at the hands of Kagetsu, both mentally and physically. This is assuming Kurotsuchi even survives the encounter between himself and Kagetsu. In an attempt to protect his kingdom and the lands at large. Kurotsuchi had to go where no man had gone before. But in order to do so, he needed to locate a vessel that was powered by Chakra. This vessel also required mastery over Space Time Jutsus. The vessel will warp Kurotsuchi and company into an alternate space. Once there, they are taken to the temple of the Otsutsuki. It is in this place where Kurotsuchi and co gains the Chakra necessary to unlock the Tenseigan. Perhaps face another trial?

Final Bout:

This takes place on the assumption that Kurotsuchi was successful in his endeavors to gain the Tenseigan. Better yet, he would have had to survive his encounters with Yourichi and Kagetsu. On the assumption that Kurotsuchi is still alive. He would have a final showdown with Kagetsu and Yourichi. The fights may vary based on whether or not Kurotsuchi has himself a partner.

Partner: Kagura if he wishes it.

And So It Begins!

Two Days Earlier

The rain could be heard beating against the roof tops as each drop fell from the skies. The thunder roared throughout the heavens, lightning lit the skies, causing a beautiful illumination. There was beauty in the anger of the weather. Kurotsuchi found it to be rather ominous to say the least. The emperor of the Abraxus found himself standing close to his window. His eyes peering outside to see what was taking place. From his vantage point, he could see the sea. Wave after wave came crashing down onto the beach. Water receded, only to repeat the same process again. The thunder echoed furiously once more. Kurotsuchi was however still, before shuddering. Goosebumps ran across his body, gripping the man. And in the moment he had a vision that made him worry. It was one of a hawk swooping up a snake in its talons. The creature soared through the skies, before letting the snake go. The poor wingless creature came crashing down back to the earth. It's life ended there and then, painting a most symbolic picture to Kurotsuchi. The emperor found it to be chilling no doubt. Looking back behind him was his new wife, daughter and son. They managed to somehow sleep through it all. The thunder must have been a sweet melody to them. When in fact it turned out to be the opposite for the emperor. His eyes narrowed, before coming to rest his hand on his chin. The right hand which rose scratch his chin a little. He was deep in thought, for he was constantly being tormented. Just what had happened? Little did he know, he was about to receive some news. As the thunder roared again, a knock at the door followed. Outside were two Shinobi that was sent out on a mission. It so happens that their mission resolves around ascertaining the whereabouts of Omoi of the Sorikata.

The emperor turned around and headed for the door. His heart skipped a beat, wondering what these men would report back to him. Kurotsuchi opened the door and invited both men inside his home. Tea and some refreshments was served. He needed to be hospitable, after all they just did a massive favor for him. There he was now sat down with these men and ready to be debriefed. As it were, both men went in depth with their explanations. The emperor took it all in, meanwhile reading their body language. He was looking for multiple signs of deceit. Something that only the trained eyes can properly perceive. And yet there was none at all, since they were being completely truthful. "Kurotsuchi sama. It turns out that Lady Omoi did in fact visit Carpathia, and we have also went there searching. It is safe to say that her clan is no longer in charge of such a land. A few changes took place, but after digging deeper. It so happens that the people of Carpathia had nothing to do with her disappearance. The last time anyone had seen her, was when she was heading off to Galahad. I know not what business she had there, but she wasn't heard from since. I think it would be best if we searched through Galahad next. Would you like us to do so my lord?". The men asked, but Kurotsuchi disapproved this time round. Perhaps he was looking to tackle the issue on his own? The emperor sat back for a moment and sighed. There was something bothering the man, and he wasn't exactly sure what it was. Despite all this though, he was determined to get the answers he so needed. Just what had happened?

"I thank you for your time. However, I will go out and see for myself. I've been meaning to stretch my legs a little. In the mean time though, whilst I'm away. I would prefer it if we increased our security. Get the barrier detection team to reinforce everything. Have our Shinobi on standby, and begin immediately our evacuation plans. For if I don't return, I want this village to be prepared for a worse case scenario. Please see to it that this gets done. And in the mean time, please summon Otsutsuki Kagura. We have much to discuss". The emperor stated meanwhile showing the men the way out. Kurotsuchi had now made the decision to go forth and seek out Omoi. And with the help of Kagura, everything should go according to plan. If anything, Motsudo will be at home to look after things. In the mean time though, the emperor would have a word with Kagura and inform him of their plans. Once this was done. Kurotsuchi took it upon himself to get some rest, he knew he had a big day or two ahead of him. As a precaution, the man delayed his trip by a day. He wanted to ensure that the village was properly protected. And that contingency plans was in place, should anything ridiculous took place. Kurotsuchi knew all too well that his people would prefer if he remained in the village. The emperor on the other hand, saw it as his duty to find out what had happened to Omoi too. He owed her and Motsudo that much. Besides, she was a demon constantly haunting him, and he needed to put her to rest. And the only way to do that, was to know for sure what had happened to her. If not then he would constantly live a life of regret. How harsh.

Two Days Later

Kurotsuchi found himself standing in a vast area, one five kilometers all around. The man was perched upon a large fifteen foot high and ten foot wide boulder. Below this boulder was soil, with a mixture of grass, pebbles, some trees off in the distance. A good two hundred meters from where he was standing. The man hopped from the boulder and landed on the ground safely. Thus far nothing blocking his path. From where he was located, it would appear that he was down in a valley. A river ran through the lands, one that was wide. The thing covered sixty meters from one side to the other. The waters were calm. But could be heard as they moved along for sure. The sun was high in the skies, albeit hidden behind some clouds too. As such, if one were to look upward, it would not be blinding. The wind was more of a gentle breeze, something refreshing and most welcomed for sure. Off behind him was a hill side, where he descended from. All the while surveying the area, just to see if there were any disturbances. So far so good, but whatever happens next was a mystery to him. Here he was now contemplating his next move. The emperor wanted to tread of the side of caution. Knowing that putting a foot wrong in enemy territory can be life threatening. Kurotsuchi was however patient enough to stick to what he knows. There was a certain level of determination within now. He was seeking answers and wanted them fast. On this day though, he felt as if something would come about.

Otsutski Kurotsuchi possesses long white spiky mane like hair, that reach down to the middle of his back.  This long spiky white hair of his extends down in his back, but a few locks, that appear to be in the form of thick dreads rests on his either side of his chest. Kurotsuchi is of a fair skin tone, blessed with a handsome face that is up for debate. His eyes are of the Byakugan pale eyes color, appearing to be without emotions and at the same time giving Kurotsuchi a ghastly stare. But what makes Kurotsuchi appears most menacing are the black outlines around his eyelids. Many would think the man was wearing woman’s make up or potentially some rather emotional Otsutsuki clansman. Though if he could, Kurotsuchi would change that perception ever so slightly. The aforementioned accessories outlining his eyes, makes for a cold and ghastly stare. Perhaps it is hatred that lurks from within, or maybe its simply an uncontrollable defect. Despite all this, and knowing exactly how his eyes are often perceived to be, Kurotsuchi pays no attention to those intimidated or offended by it. If anything, it is more of a psychology weapon than anything.

Kurotsuchi appearance becomes more noticeable with his chosen head gear that bores the Otsutsuki clan symbol on it. The head gear in question being the Happuri, a black one to be precise. The Happuri head gear was first shown in the Manga to be worn by the second Hokage Tobirama and then Yamato. Kurotsuchi wears the same head gear, although a black one as previously stated. The Happuri that Kurotsuchi sports also has a pair of black horns, which protrudes upward, very reminiscent of most Otsutsuki clan members, in canon and otherwise. The Shinobi in question also has a black metal bar piercing through each ear, completing gear.

Otsutsuki Kurotsuchi is garbed in a full black body suit, with a white apron like piece of clothing with ragged bottoms stemming from his waist line. The ragged bottom apron type piece of clothing. Is cut in a diagonal manner, with majority of this piece of clothing resting on the right side. Visually, the ragged apron like clothing covers portions of Kurotsuchi's right leg. The Otsutsuki clansman  also has black gloves covering his arms, and as such the entirety of his arms is covered in some form of attire. The man also has bandages carefully woven as part of his sleeves. These bandages, often being utilized to employ Ninjutsu techniques. Kurotsuchi also wears black high Shinobi sandals, those stretching up to his knees, more customized compared to usual Shinobi sandals. On both sides of his sandals is the Otsutsuki clan symbol. However to think his attire ended there would be false, since the man is set on looking and playing the part. Black armor is worn over that full black body suit of Kurotsuchi’s. The aforementioned armor is very similar to that of a Samurai’s armor, though closely resembling that of Hashirama’s or Madara’s. The armor that Kurotsuchi wears over his clothing is rather lightweight, more of a fashion statement than to actually give him any extra defensive boost. This is because of the Otsutsuki bone pulse technique that is often utilized by the wielder of the Byakugan.

It was designed with the intention of not to impede his abilities while in battle. The dark armor was constructed from numerous metal plates, formed into multiple protective guards along his body. The chest, shoulders, back, thighs and forearms are covered. Each collar on his shoulder guards has the Otsutsuki clan symbol emblazoned on them. The Shinobi also had all his weaponry. Serrakura and Mu-Onna his sword, both were sheathed on his either hip. One on the left and the other on the right. He also carried with him all his ninja tools, scrolls, easily transported via the generic sealing method technique. The Shinobi paused for a moment and looked around the area. He was taking it all in, now then where should he head first? How about straight ahead? That sounded like a good idea and so he did with no more hesitation. "Omoi" The Shinobi thought about that missing lady, the one he was here to find. Kagura had better remain sharp. Kurotsuchi was currently out searching for Omoi. His wife who may have succumbed to tragic circumstances. That along was enough to send a shiver up his spine. Just how will he manage if that were the case?

Two days earlier.....

It was a cold and stormy night as Kagura walked along the stone corridors of his castle. His sandals could be heard in a soft pitter patter as he continued to retire to his chambers for the night. The loud thunder muffled by the thick walls of his castle making it so much easier to ignore. He was tired and at this time, he wanted to shut everything off and take some time for himself; a luxury he has not awarded himself in ages. He entered his room as he servants came to minister to him. One on each side and they disrobed him and heated water for his bath and placed scented oils within it. He stood there stark naked as the female servants led him to his bath. He stepped in and allowed the warm water to wash over him, relaxing his muscles from the day's training. He closed his eyes and his thoughts wandered. He cud feel the difference in power that emanated from him in the past weeks. His training while it was still in need of improvement, he was satisfied of what he accomplished so far. And it was this contentment that relaxed him all the more so. In the past few weeks, since he absorbed the Senju, Uchiha and Terumi bloodlines, he felt different, however the progress he made was in leaps and bounds to say the least. To him it was all a journey and this was like teleporting from one goal to the next. And now, he can just relax for the time being and allow the mineral water to soak into his body.

His relaxation was short lived because there was a knock on the door which made the Otsutsuki to open his eyes and reveal their disdainful look.

"Who could disturb me at such an hour?" he asked one of his servants.

"Kagura sama! You've been summoned by Lord Kurotsuchi! Its urgent!" they said as the men continued banging on the door.

The maidservants knew what they had to do without being told in this instance, they brought him towels and a clean kimono and sandals for him to wear. As he was getting dressed after getting out of the tub, the servants allowed the men to come in and showed them to Kagura's training room. There was a table with four chairs; crude looking in comparison to the rest of the decor of his castle home. There were ninja tools that lined the walls all around the room and there was a single door; the only entrance to the room. As Kagura entered, they bowed to him and he stopped them. In his opinion, they were his comrades and he was in no need of such protocol. He gestured to them to have a seat as he too sat and looked at the both of them without saying a word. A lump had grown in both of their throats as they realized Kagura was staring at them with no emotion as was his way so they thought this was his cue to start speaking.

"My lord, the Emperor wants an audience with you."

"Concerning?"

" It turns out that Lady Omoi did in fact visit Carpathia, and we have also went there searching. We asked him if he wants us to search Galahad. He told us that was not needed. Seems to me he wants you to accompany him to look for the Queen mother."

"I understand. Tell him I will come immediately. And thank you for coming here."

And that was that. Duty called and that was the end of his split mind on things. He donned his over coat and left his weapons home because he had no need of any. He was Otsutsuki Kagura, a walking fighting machine and was in need of no weapons made of pathetic steel and was created by man. He had a plethora of such things in the room he came out of. But besides, he was going to see the Emperor and was in no need to be on guard.

Kagura approached the emperor's wards to allow him to see the man which he did. They spoke at length of what was the come and how serious this mission was to Kurotsuchi. Kagura was pleased to be appointed as his aide in this matter; he would not be disappointed with such a choice. They went over the finer details over and over to get it right to ensure every contingency was in place. Kagura even highlighted to his lord that he knew the Queen mother very little since he only met her once on the same day that Abraxus was attacked by some unknown white haired assailant. Not too long after that, the Queen Mother disappeared with little trace, until now. Kagura left Kuro with a focused mind as the wheels in his head began turning with purpose now, he smiled within himself at the things he had in store. He knew fully well that this could very well mean the end of his life. A fact that he always faced and embraced as a soldier of Abraxus. However, his life is not easy for one to take and a monster like him, he welcomed whoever it was to try. Because its true, maybe Kagura cant win. Maybe the only thing he can do is withstand whatever darkness the enemy may throw at him.  But to beat him, they are going to have to kill him. And to kill him they will have to have the heart to stand up up to him. And to do that, they must be willing to die themselves. As he lay in his bed, he was not sure if they were willing and able to do that.

Two days later....

Kurotsuchi no Quest Images?q=tbn:ANd9GcT-UDxwutb21AaOCETfYl4mqo7gJhbXQUP0SPt2JqoBqVAJDCyw

Today was the day of beginning. A beginning to an end? That remains to be seen. Kagura was adorned in his white Kimono robes with his black chest plate armor and his normal katana strapped diagonally across his back forming an X with the two. Upon his feet were ninja sandals. On his hands were samurai gloves designed in a way for quick drawing of a sword. His white kimono flowed with the Otsutsuki clan insignia emblazoned upon his back. Underneath his kimono, hidden from outside eyes were his ninja gear. twenty meters of Steel wire, ten Kunai, ten shuriken, ten senbon needles, and a nail file.

For now, Kagura decided to follow Kurotsuchi's lead but he thought it would be best if he activated his Byakugan to scout ahead to be certain there were no surprises and this is what he did. For the next 5000 meters they would be seeing in all directions.

OOC: So as I said on Skype, your quest design is a bit off. So I have led us on a different path. Since you were walking down a path of sorts, I simply put a portal there that will appear in your next post. Go to the portal, and you will teleport to where we are on another world. We are in the temple with Omoi's body. Best wishes to you.

There was a continual dripping heard within the dark halls of the Temple, and it seemed incessantly ominous that it was the only sound heard. There was a great room, spanning two hundred meters in circumference, and one hundred meters high. The sacred geometric shapes and their corresponding art could be found on the floors of the temple, a type of rock similar to Earth's marble was its makeup. The inside of the temple, which was all comprised of this smooth and dark metal, had a color scheme of black and teel all throughout. The walls, floors, and pillars all black with teel and neon blue artwork that seemed to glow in the dimly lit room. Up above, much like the artwork of ancient cities that reached far back into the span of time before mankind was even a thought, there were crystalline windows that branched out to make the ceiling, moonlight peering in through from above. In the center of this great room, the source of dripping stood holsted upon a bone cross. It was Omoi who was the origin of this horrendous sound. Kagetsu had slit her throat and placed her upon a Ootsutsuki bone cross that was within the center of the great oval room, and her wound provided a small pool of blood of five meters in circumference directly below the cross itself. The cross was five meters in height, and so she hung upon it, her hands and feet nailed through with bone spikes, and her head drooped atop her breasts, lifeless. On the right side of the corpse by two feet stood the great prince of the Ootsutsuki, Kagetsu. He was clothed in an entirely black robe with an Ootsutsuki clan symbol placed upon the back of his upper half, a common teal color matching the walls. He had long and beautiful silver hair that looked as though it could be found upon the head of a stallion; a simply magnificent mane. The skin of Kagetsu was a more pure pail, not tan like his brother. Such a trait as pale skin was to be expected from a dweller of the world and dimension that the Ootsutsuki originated from. The stars dwelt much further from Babylon than they did from any city on Earth. The skin of his brother and the other lesser Ootsutsuki upon Earth had grown progressively more “colored” as the orange sun of that primitive planet splattered its energy upon their flesh day after day. Thus, a pale and almost expressionless face could be found upon Kagetsu as he stared on into the dark opening that was the entrance. Where he stood was about fifty meters from the door that entered into the Temple, where his brother and whatever army that was coming with him would soon appear. Like a fish drawn out of water would Kurotscuchi be brought out of the safe haven of his false kingdom; into the den of lions. The blue veins within Kagetsu were rich with life and desire as he awaited this arrival. His ploy to get Kuro here was quite ingenious as would be expected. For months he had wandered the earth privately to spy on his brother and find out what had come of the small settlement that Kaguya had planted there a few centuries ago. To his surprise, his brother had managed to actually merge with the civilizations of mankind that dwelt among him. Homo sapiens were such a barbaric and insidious race that he was almost in disbelief when he saw that other Ootsutsuki were in contact with them. The moral purity and complete otherness of the Ootsutsuki alone should be an impenetrable social wall between them and lesser species. Yet his brother, likely through his common weaknesses with men, had found a way to live among ants without crushing them. Certainly only a weak parasite like Kurotsuchi could and would violate his own people’s culture in order to be found pleasing in the eyes of others. Kagetsu’s younger brother had always been a people pleaser. It was also clear, as Kagetsu wandered the planet for that short period of months, that as time went on Kurotsuchi had began to believe he was finding his place in the world; when really it was finding its place in him. Kuro was taking on the culture and nastiness of mammals in various ways that even the keen eyes and deft intelligence of the Ootsutsuki around him could not detect. His carnality, however, was as obvious as was the existence of the sun to Kagetsu. For Kurotsuchi’s older brother had dwelt in the cold doldrums of a deserted, abandoned, and nearly inhospitable land that was the Ootsutsuki homeland; and he had done so for centuries. Sent back to try and recolonize what remained of the Ootsutsuki and protect the secrets that were buried within the ruins of Babylon. Such a task for a young prince as he was when he first took it on was surely overwhelming. His mother and father gone, and only his sister as a near equal in both intellect and capacity for power. Starved for power and the cloak of dominance once worn by all of his race, Kagetsu had gained a level of discipline and self-sacrifice unparalleled among his brethren. While Kuro dwelt in the luxury of a young and unconquered planet, Kagetsu scoured the ruins of a broken and used up land like a vulture day and night. And the nights on Nibiru, his home world, were so long, and so cold. They’d last for years, and during which time food would be scarce for himself and those with him. Dwelling within the ruins of the once great city Babel, his people stayed together in order to survive the attacks of wild animals, and the continual brutality of extreme weather. Any type of weakness in the flesh, mind or otherwise meant death for oneself and those around you. Kagetsu, therefore, had to be without flaw in any regard to his personal moral character. Thus, as he wandered the earth years ago in hiding, watching the playful and inspired Kurotsuchi coddle his wife, Omoi, the rage and bloodlust within his brother was once again rekindled. You see, during the time of the initial split between the two lasting tribes of the Ootsutsuki, the tribe that dwelt upon Earth had agreed to gather up resources to come bring those who would stay upon the home world to this world to take over the planet Earth. At the time, there was not enough space and manforce for everyone to live on Earth; and Babylon had to be protected and guarded against planet raiders. So the clan was split into two tribes and locations, with Kaguya’s tribe taking residence upon the earth. For years Kagetsu and his sister had dwelt upon that cold world Nibiru, which was within such a lonely dimension, awaiting contact from the tribe on Earth. There was no contact for years. As Kagetsu grew in power and his people in pain, they also began to grow in resentment. It took a great many years, but finally Kagetsu along with his sister had managed to revamp a broken stargate within Babylon. He was able to finally gather enough chakra to charge it for travel, and he had agreed to go with his sister to find Kurotsuchi, their mother and all else who had dwelt upon earth to see if they were alive and well; and to inquire as to why they had not been heard from in so long a time. When he teleported across space time, he landed in what was the new “Holy Abraxus Empire”. He was appalled at the grandeur, glory, and beauty of the kingdom. To find out that the sovereign was his brother was only a strike to his heart, and the pot that began to boil his hidden resentment for his younger brother that had been frozen along with all other emotion in the depths of his dead home world. Kurotsuchi was arraid in the finest of clothes, and hailed with tent of messianic worship as he walked the grounds of his kingdom freely. As Kagetsu looked on him in shock and a growing hatred, his eyes took look upon the apple of Kuro’s eye; Omoi. This all of course was months ago, and at least a year after Kagetsu had first visited earth by the portal. As he looked carefully upon the curve of Omoi’s face, the tenderness of her smile and radiance of her presence, he realized that his brother had not reached out to his homeworld for one simple reason; he had found a new home. And he had found that home in the eyes of a human named Omoi, and the kingdom they shared. Kagetsu at that time swore by all the gods and Izanami himself that he was slay every single Ootsutsuki on earth, starting with his brother. But first; he would punish him as due, and let him go through in one moment what Kagetsu had gone through over the span of centuries. Months after first seeing Omoi, Kagetsu had kidnapped her and sedated her. He waited some time to charge the portal, particularly at a time when Kuro was away, and teleported himself to the small world that they were now on. This world, which was in the most simple terms between Nibiru and Earth dimensionally, Kagetsu had taken residence with his sister within this ancient Ootsutsuki temple. The world they were on was known as Thanagar, and it was once a world full of great creatures. Lord Abraxus (blessed be his name forever) had conquered the Thanagarians years ago when Kagetsu was a child and Kuro was still within the womb. The planet and the majority of its species had apparently fallen into a mass extinction, and there was little life there left; but the temple placed there still stood. Kagetsu and his sister thus found this temple the currently stood in to be a home of sorts; at least while they were on this mission. Needless to say, Kagetsu had brought Omoi here, tortured and killed her without so much as a single missed heart beat. He had let the blood from her wounds drip until she suffered from blood loss and died upon the bone cross; a type of death allotted to unique criminals in the Ootsutsuki society. Kuro was too young to see such executions so perhaps the tinge of rage that would soon be pasted upon Kuro’s heart upon seeing Omoi’s body would not also be bleached with that vulgar acid that was the familiarity of the death. Kagetsu had seen many a criminal dragged out like a dog before crowds of Ootsutsuki and Lord Abraxus; and slain in this exact manor. Left to die upon a bone cross, where their blood would water the ground below until their life was poured out entirely like a glass of wine. Oh how his brother would suffer in due time.

Now, one might ask exactly how Kagetsu planned to get Kurostuchi to Thanagar. Well, Kurotsuchi now walked upon a quiet path and in an area filled with trees. Any moment now, his eyes would pick up on a strange energy signature within that forest that would manifest itself in the form of a purple ring of energy rotating at immense speeds. In the center of that purple ring would be a swirling pool of purple energy. This pool of energy was the stargate. And through it would Kuro go, and appear fifty meters away from the front entrance of the Temple. It was unfortunate, but Kuro and whoever he brought with him would be entirely unable to have the advantages of their byakugan once entering the Temple, as was its unique effect on those untrained of the Ootsutsuki clan. All bonues, boosts, and extended vision woudl be nullified in them.. Kagetsu and his sister however, had gained immunity to the silent affect, and their site would not be in the least impeded. Unfortunate not because of the battle disadvantage; but rather because it was the desire of Kagetsu that at the very moment Kuro was teleported, his eyes would force him to see the broken body of his “home” splattered across a bloody bone cross; and his brother, soon to be smirking surely, standing near her side like a sly devil. The inner linings of the temple would glow lighter once his opponents entered into the world; and he would be more than ready.

Oh, how fun it would be.

Death, before Dishonor...

Trust, Honor, integrity... Key elements and founding principals that the one pure Ōtsutsuki clan took pride from, to go against these principals meant nothing short of certain death. Such was the fate of the young Omoi as she hung in a presentable manner upon a cross, her like to the right, but to her left just an arms length away was the Princess of the Ōtsutsuki, Yourichi. Off setting the color choice of her brother, the woman was garbed in a flowing white kimono whose length allowed it to flow six inches over her limbs effectively hiding them from sight while draping her five for three inch frame, a triple braided sash black in color wrapped around her tiny waist and coming to an end in the form of a bow at her back. A bored expression rest on the girls face as a single pale white finger extended from out of her sleeve and began swirling around the ends of her silvery hair. "Oi! The grunt is trying my patience, Kagetsu! You told me that by you killing this" She'd say making a quick gesture toward Omoi, her sleeve retracting at the arm's apex revealing a staff of hollow bone. Smack — The body sounded as the staff impacted with it before her hand and it retracted back under her sleeves. "Either he shows up or I'm going out and dragging his body back myself!" The woman's tongue lashed at her brother before walking out and into the pull off blood infront of Omoi, her arms folding across her breast and creating even more cleavage than her 36DD bust already allowed.

As the middle child of the trio Yourichi has faced being overshadowed by her older brother, yet in exchange she developed an insatiable drive to prove herself. When the grunt came around his inherent success left her with little options of ever being noticed as more than the Princess of the Ōtsutsuki, but when Kuro eventually took up residence on earth her true power came to be feared by all who opposed the brother and sister duo. Veins extended from around the oval sockets of the woman's pale white irises as her fully mature Byakugan looked up and down the length of Omoi's body, Yourichi began taking in the woman's physical appearance for the first time. A heavy sigh released from the woman's chest as she hung her head in disappointment.  "The grunt at the least could have found someone who looks like Mother dearest just the slightest bit, instead of this filth!" Her final words ended with her spitting on the floor and turning around with a sinister smile just in time to catch the appearance and initial reactions of the newest arrivals.

Kurotsuchi is definitely the Younger Sibling

For the longest while now, ever since Omoi was deemed missing in action. Kurotsuchi had this longing, an unfulfilled desire. One that he had yet to truly satisfy, and as such he found himself on his current path. The emperor of the Abraxus empire was out seeking answers. The clues led him to the area in which he traversed so peacefully. He was a keen observer of his surroundings. Known to be level headed and rational in his thinking. That of course did not stop him being cruel when he needed to be either. Kurotsuchi was more or less a man of necessity. Choosing to stay away from those he would deem to be idlers for sure. The Shinobi was here being accompanied by Kagura, a fellow clansman that was becoming more and more trust worthy. And that is exactly what Kurotsuchi needed too. A person he could trust, someone that could be relied upon. Once these ingredients are in place, and being used effectively. The chances of survival increased, if only on a minimal scale. Irrespective of his current desires, Kurotsuchi knew he needed to be extremely careful too. At present he was traversing the enemy's territory, and although the enemy was unknown. It was a known known, that anyone could come forth with ill intentions. Just who would do such a thing remained the unknown unknown. Its just that there are things that know that we don't know that we know. There they were walking along, choosing to maintain a steady pace. But with all the sight seeing, the emperor felt a itch on his left butt cheek. His left hand moved behind him in reaction to this sensation. His fingers bent inward, resembling a tiger's paw. And said paw was used to scratch his posterior. The main itch was a nuisance, and so he scratched away not caring who was watching,

With the itch on his left butt cheek subsiding, obviously satisfied by the work his hand put in. Kurotsuchi could feel his bladder niggling at him. A true nag it was, since it was directly connected to his majestic member. His sword that was designed to pierce a maiden's shield. Not that Kurotsuchi wanted only maidens. After all, the emperor preferred them to be experienced. The more experienced you are, the better it was for the man. Having to train the inexperienced, can be fun, but could take a while. And unfortunately it was time he didn't always have at all. Pausing for a moment, Kurotsuchi took some time to look around the area. He wanted to take in as much of his surroundings as possible. It wasn't often that he visited such an area. This place was left untouched, but it was truly amazing. The scenery reminded him of home, and that's when he spotted it. The amazing and wonderful effects of nature. "Kagura" Kurotsuchi simply stated, while motioning for the man to pause a moment. Off in the distance was something not always witnessed, but was good to see all the same. The emperor was stopped in his tracks using his eyes to record the event. There were three goats present, a ram and two females. The female's coats was a mixture of black, white and brown. Meanwhile the ram was jet black, except for a white spot at the tip of his nose. The goats carried on making goat noises. A baa, and baah and a baa, and oh my god! The ram's garden snake was out of show, demonstrating that he was ready to ram away. Yes, this ram wanted to ram, and make goat love to the two female goats on standby. And so he strutted his stuff, flaunting his sexy black horns, that had grown so much, the curled over. One could tell this ram was a pimp, a certain player. The way his horns curled was proof of that.

Kurotsuchi retained a most amused expression on his face. The goats and ram present was about to do their thing. And without further delay, the ram jacked itself upon the rear of the female goat. This was doggy style being performed by a ram goat. And so Mommy and Papa goat, got it on, with sister or friend goat joining in to make a threesome. The emperor couldn't quite believe his eyes, but found the whole thing amusing. So much so, that he'd even forgotten that his left butt cheek was causing a disruption again. His left hand moved back towards his ass, the left side, and scratched the area that was itching. The man with long white hair fix his clothing, corrected his wedgie and was looking to move forward. In some ways the man felt as he had wasted some time. But the truth is, he was having fun, by simply scratching his ass cheek, and watching goats court each other. He mentions courtship as if it wasn't just full on goats ramming each other. Kurotsuchi could distinctly remember the she goat making a noise. One akin to sounding like maa, baa. This of course happened at the same time as the ram banging at the doors. Not wanting to dwell on it too much, Kurotsuchi was reminded of something else too. Nature was at its most potent once we embrace it. And that is exactly what the emperor planned on doing. He wanted to get involved with nature. Wait, no, not goat nature. But as in nature where one gains strength from it. Besides, it should be obvious that he was referring to human nature. Not that he didn't like or understand the traits of the ram. If one inferior creature can buck his she goats and the world at the same time. Then Kurotsuchi should be able to do the same, except messing with goats.

With all the craziness happening, Kurotsuchi smiled as the goats scampered off after doing their thing. A grin lingered on the face of the emperor. In all honesty, he was holding back the laughter. How can he be so carefree at a time like this? The emperor was soon forced to stop, his progress being impeded by a phenomena.  For but a moment he allowed himself to lose focus. And in doing so, showed a side to him that humans could easily identify with. This wouldn't last for a long time though, Kurotsuchi found himself twirling two pulse kunai blades both hands. Of course, his left hand and right hand carried one blade each. Luckily for him the itchy backside was no longer an issue at the moment. Otherwise he might have ended up cutting his backside by attempting to scratch it with a blade. Be that as it may though, Kurotsuchi's kunai in his right hand was sent flying. The destination was the body of a big fly. The thing appeared to be handing out on the tree, but it was truly disgusting to behold. And as such, it met a swift death, with the Kunai blade being stuff in his tree. In the mean time though, the man kept the other Kunai in hand. The emperor kept on moving, hoping that Kagura would be traveling along with him too. Before long though, Kurotsuchi found himself moving through space, which was unexpected. The emperor arrived before a large temple, currently stationed outside of it. The place was desolate to say the least. Almost lifeless, but that was a false assumption. The emperor could remember passing through something. In fact, it had happened so fast, it was truly amazing to say the least. A rather unique and foreign energy signature had warped them away. Clearly someone was playing a trick on them. Looking around, the emperor looked confused for a moment. Breathing in, he could tell that the place was different. His sensory skill being activated, sensing to his maximum range. It was at that moment that he felt it, something so familiar. The magnitude and volume of emotions was almost overwhelming. Kurotsuchi felt some nostalgia too. At present, the man was outside of the temple.

And while the door leading into the temple was opened. He couldn't yet see what was inside, but instead sense it. And immediately he felt uneasy by it all. Kurotsuchi held back for a moment, his eyes narrowed. He was as still as anyone could imagine. The man did not flinch, nor did he speak at all. He could let everything resonate within, seemingly frozen in fear. But that wasn't it at all. Kurotsuchi was being fed by something else, a gathering of energy as it were. This was his way of checking his surroundings and gaining an understanding of it all. He was most certainly a patient person, he just wasn't so sure about the others at all. "This place, this temple, I do not know it or recognize it. But I do recognize what is waiting for me inside that place. To think that my body has frozen in excitement and not fear. But what do I do?".   Kurotsuchi thought to himself as he stood there. Meanwhile sending his pulse Kunai blade flying behind them. The kunai landed another thirty meters away from them, digging into the soil. He was unflinching, meanwhile feeling more and more of the plain's energy flowing. It was of the utmost importance that he at least gain some knowledge as to what's happening  to him. Well never mind what he thought was happening to him. Bottom line was that he needed to be careful. And although he spoke no words of encouragement, he can only hope, Kagura will know to act accordingly. In some ways, the man felt as if he had himself a meeting with destiny. Something which was totally unavoidable. Its been years in the making, and there wasn't anyway to tell who was right or wrong. The emperor hung back for a moment, and the hosts may view it as a sign of disrespect. But in the eyes of the emperor, he should be greeted with open arms.

He simply wasn't the type to go chasing after others or to even wait on them. They can always wait on him though, that just the way it is. In some ways, he was relying on Kagura telling him what else was in the temple. Since quite frankly he was too afraid to confirm his worse nightmares. Outside of the temple, just for now will he stay. A mere fifty meters from the entrance, glancing at the steps leading up to it. He maintained his position with a show of discipline. That's not to say he wasn't aware of his surroundings at all. With Kagura by his side, maybe things wouldn't be as bad. He so wanted to smile now, but couldn't afford his face to crease. "Nothing like an unexpected family reunion. I mean, they could at least come and greet me. Then again, there doesn't appear to be a welcoming party at all". The man said to himself, carefully planning his next course of action. Based on what he was feeling and sensing, this was indeed a new plain of existence. He was in the enemy's territory, and needed to tread carefully.

Naruto Shippuuden OST - Saika

Kagura turned his eyes when Kurotsuchi started scratching his rear. It seemed as if he had picked up some human traits indeed. The Otsutsuki soldier's eyes averted from a random position towards what his Emperor drew his attention to and it was nothing short of rams intertwining in the Holy act of love making. As he looked on though, he soon saw that there was nothing Holy about their acts at all. Even the rams had taken human traits and seemingly was going to have a threesome. Kagura did not react to this as he looked down and realized his sandals was a bit loose. So he subsequently bent down and tied his straps tighter but to make it comfortable enough for battle, as he then placed his Hiraishin seal on the ground with a simple touch and he raised himself and continued looking around. With a much darker intent than Kurotsuchi he pulled out a pair of normal kunai and proceeded to place his seal on these as well. With a mere flick of his wrist, there was a whizzing sound aimed directly for a pile of rocks that were on a cliff directly above the goats. As the blade struck, it wedged itself wonderfully and strong between a rock formation. The resultant force caused the presumably fragile boulders that were perched on the cliff to roll off and fall on the busy goats ultimately killing two of them. The third scampered off to no one knows where, no doubt about to die with surprise and fright. Not long after that was something that Kagura had not seen before. Something was drawing him to it. And as he looked at Kurotsuchi he saw he had already started walking towards it. As Kagura at first placed his hand into the strange swirling portal, he was pulled into oblivion; into a place where space nor time did not matter. There was a flash of light and when the scene came clear he saw Kurotsuchi at his side; no doubt he was a bit taken aback by this strange occurrence as he was.

Immediately of course, Kagura noticed the temple before them. It was obvious, that portal appearing out of nowhere and bringing them here was not by chance. It truly was a different dimension yet there were many things similar to the Earth. Gravity for instance was the same, the atmosphere was the same breathable oxygen as their home planet. As Kagura's eyes went skyward, he could see the constellations, some of them he had not seen in centuries. They were spread across multicolored sky that danced and moved as if with the wind. The heavens were as if they were stretched across a great tapestry of art by a master painter. Hovering as all planets were and with the look as if it hung upon nothing were three moons of different colors and various sizes. Oh how the stars shimmered. What was peculiar was that the stars and the three moons gave enough light to let the chlorophyll in the vast forest of trees that stood as silent sentinels of this great temple. The lake nearby was fed by an underground stream that kept it clean of any impurities; its waters were calm and made little waves on the cobble stone shores. Kagura was truly in awe of being in sunlight level brightness without an actual sun. Now his mind shifted to what what at hand and the now heavy feeling he began to experience.

His Byakugan was still awakened and the look on the Emperor's face said it all; even before he decided to speak Kagura could tell, as all Otsutsuki could, could feel the Emperor's emotions through his squinted eyes. Kagura understood what he said clearly. Shaking from excitement; it was an emotion Kagura only felt while training with Kurotsuchi.

All the same, it was not excitement Kagura felt here as he looked into the darkness of the temple entrance. His Byakugan searched the very recesses of this place and saw its very structure and what was inside it. It was upon seeing this, Kagura's own eyes squinted as they pushed forward more and saw what he wanted to see. He saw a silhouette of a body hung upon a bone cross and he at that point expected the worse. At the sides of the body were two very much alive chakra signatures. He changed his vision to that of X ray, seeing the actual faces of the ones inside the temple. The Queen Mother was nailed to a cross made of...bone?

Otsutsuki....otsutsuki....they did this to her?

He then looked at the structure of the temple and to see where its weaknesses were and there were right there, hiding in plain site as it were. The entire roof was supported by pillars from the inside. On the front corners of the building however, were two pins; massive yes, at least a foot in diameter placed into the two main pillars at the front of the temple. If these were pulled out, it would release the first two pillars which would upon being detached would seemingly shake the foundations of this place. His vision shifted to below the temple floor and there was a large vein of lava flowing underneath the temple that was half a mile below. He nodded as he took all this information in and took note of it mentally. One was a male and the other a female occupant of the temple. Kagura retracted his vision and looked at the Emperor. These two were causing his Emperor some disturbance in has calm and he wanted to know why. He was not about to go asking some dumb an uncalled for questions; after all this was neither the time nor the place for that. After all Kurotsuchi was now as still as can be as he prepared for what was no doubt to come. As Kagura's vision had retracted, he could not help experience he had as a child. There was a hole in a rock face before him and the urge was great to place his hand into the hole. The further he pushed your hand down into the hole, the more he felt as if this was not a good idea. Because as he pushed his hand into the hole shoulder deep, he felt something dangerous pulling itself back. His hand could have 'felt' the thing inside it, yet the hand pushes. After some more moments of struggling he decided to stop and it only then that he realized he could have lost his life.

Now centuries older, the feeling swept over him like a craving...a longing. A longing for what, he did not know fully and quite frankly he knew Kurotsuchi did not either. That primal longing; that feeling as if not being alive unless there was something to protect, a battle to fight or your life is in danger, that was what a soldier of the Holy Abraxus felt, it was how Kagura felt. One of the few emotions he did show. With his Hiraishin seal already placed on the kunai, he barely had to flick his wrist to get the force he needed for the kunai to lodge in a rock formation thirty meters from where they both stood to Kagura's right. He too prepared himself for what was to come.

There was a great pulse of blood that flowed to Kagetsu’s head as veins bulged all around the sides of his cheeks. His pearl-like Byakugan activated and instantly zoomed in on the two shinobi the moment they appeared fifty meters away from the entrance of the Temple. He had grown in excitement as he awaited, and had positioned himself inside the tunnel, just five meters behind the door and official entrance. He was in the darkness of the walls and therefore could not be seen by the naked eye, but surely by the all-seeing Byakugan of the two approaching. He almost bellowed in laughter when his brother first appeared. Kagetsu had protected and guarded his brother when they were children, during the times when their father would be away at war and Kuro desired a break from the guards. He observed his younger sibling so carefully in those younger days, comparison was the purpose of course. Kagetsu had been told before Kurotsuchi was even born that he was special. It was a seed planted in his mind that would eventually blossom into the resentment and bloodlust that he had for him today. Rather still, his hatred for Kuro was young in Kuro’s younger years, as he still had little knowledge about the boy; and his younger brother’s tenderness kept volatile emotion away from most who dwelt with him. Kuro was unusually lively for an Ootsutsuki, even at a young age. A cold and sophisticated race, such things as humor and sexual pleasure were a much lesser value in their eyes than they would eventually be in Kuros. This progression could be predicted early on, from Kagetsu’s perspective. But with these unusual and one could say naturally alien qualities, Kuro possessed a few others that Kagetsu found utterly repulsive in nature, and of no worthiness of respect due to their unusualness. One of the primary ones was Kuro’s instinct for self-preservation. Kagetsu almost bellowed in laughter as he saw that the first move Kuro made upon his arrival in the new world was to cast a life boat behind him thirty meters. Having knowledge of the nature of Hirashin, he knew what it meant. Furthermore such a move made it clear that his brother likely would be trying to get home the same way. He would be in for an interesting suprrise. Both of them would be, actually, since his partner Kagura caved in to the same cowardly tactic by casting his life insurance (hirashin kunai) to the right of him thirty meters into a stone pile. Standing to the right of Kuro, it was clear that neither of them felt adequately prepared for what was coming.

Kagetsu wondered for a moment if Kuro had told Kagura the truth. The truth that he had left his family and a tribe of his own people to die on a god-forsaken, war-torn world several stars and years away. Perhaps he had lied (as would be expected from such a coward as Kurotsuchi) to his young companion and brought him to believe that he had really only come to rescue the human whom had been hanging crucified for more than 24 earth hours by now. Kagetsu did not care to find out, as his hatred for Kuro was glowing with greater fervency from moment to moment. It was night now, in Thanagar. Not that it matter considering all four combatants had nearly perfect vision, but it was quite the ominous setting. He hoped that both of them would soak in the terror of the last night of their lives quite well, because doom would come before sunrise. And speaking of soaking up, Kurotsuchi was seen to be attempting to gather Thanagarian energy from his surroundings. He was in for a pleasant surprise. Unbenounced to Kurotsuchi, Thanagar was not like Earth. The nature energy and the sage transformation could not be ascertained the same way; and in any case, his time was up. Kagetsu activated LRA, and a black aura of lightning danced all around his body constantly; simulatenously dashing forward with outstretched arms pulsating bone bullets. This occurred just before Kagura’s Kunai struck the rocks, perfectly timed so that no reaction could be made in between him activating it and making his first dash. They would appear to happen simultaneously.  It was clear that the coward’s way was still Kuro’s way, so he would take the fight into his own hands. Oh how long he had waited to pierce the flesh of that traitor who had so smugly wondered into Thanagar as though he were anticipating some kind of surprise party or casual spar. LRA was activated, Kagetsu blasted off from the entrance at full speed. Actually greater than full speed did the Ootsutsuki make his assault. He flitted forward on foot and reached a distance out into the expanse past the entrance (putting him about twenty meters away) in a flash, and he was still moving forward at the same speed. Moving as fast as he was, he had taken perfect measurement of the miliseconds and the milidistance so that his frontal assault would be timed flawlessly. Though he moved thirty meters from his initial standing postiion to about twenty directly in front of Kagura and Kuro in less than a second, he was technically within fifty meters of them sooner than that. Before either of them could in any way, shape or form react (his LRA being activated at the same moment as his initial dash and therefore undetectable and uanble to be reacted to) he had moved those first six meters putting him within killing range (fifty meters) of the two. His byakugan enabled him to time out his initial blast just before  striking of the kunait to the rock. He watched it in almost slow motion, awaiting the perfect moment. And just before the kunai of Kagura’s officially made contact, he would take off.  And at this time, which would surely take place before his speed put him at the full length of his first dash (30 meters in front of them), he activated two combined and simultaneous nature-based contraptions.

Suddenly both Kagura and Kuro would be blind and paralyzed. Neither having activated any kind of jutsu to prevent the onslaught of attack on their minds, or bodies, they were stunned. With the range of both of these aggressive mind-tricks having a range of fifty meters, both of them would be struck the very moment that his body was within that range. Blinded and unable to move, the two would be forced to react now to an even worse terror; Kagetsu approaching. He had, while activating the genjutsu, activated the fabled trigrams which also found its striking range to be about fifty meters, and thus his speed was boosted even further as he blasted through the cool ground toward his new victims. Hands stretched out from the very moment he took off, a soundless array of bone-bullets would soar from his hands constantly at both Kagura and Kuro who were twenty meters away and lessening. The bullets primarily were aimed to both of their abdominal and lower body regions. Kagetsu did not desire to kill them in this first frontal assault, but rather to injure them beyond help. He wanted Kuro to die slowly, that is. And for it to begin with paralysis. The kind of paralyiss that Kagetsu and all Ootstutsuki that Kuro had abandoned had been in for centuries now, in the cold. Thus, bullets that could not be heard, nor seen due to his blinded opponents, nor reacted to due to the genjutsu binding placed upon them, flew from Kagetsu towards Kuro and Kagura as he came closer and closer. Kagura stood one meter to the right of Kuro, and both were clearly seen to be helpless in the face of the domineering Kagetsu as he pushed forward. The weak points of their bodies were seen and mapped out, and any bone bullets that struck would puncture vital points. Ultimately, they likely would kill them both; but not immediately. He, again, wanted the death to be slow. Hundreds of bullets flowed forth from Kuro’s brother from his first take off until the moment he would reach within a single meter of them, which would be very soon. Fifty bullets particularly were aimed towards the ankles, shins, and knee areas. If hit, Kagura and Kuro would be immediately paralyzed from the hip down. Another two hundred bullets would take out all vital organs save for the heart. Kagetsu wanted to personally rip that out himself. His eyes pierced and with an intensity unparalleled, he was prepared for the worst. Both of them were within his sight and yet he knew to expect anything from his brother. Happy that he had almost definitely stunned and blinded Kuro and Kagura before any possible move could be made (according to every caluclation he had), he knew they were dead. Any gen they would try would be detected and dismissed and in any case, they would have had to escape the gen binding immediately since the very moment it hit them, was the very time the finger bullets first began to split from his fingers. And along with these two attacks came his first blast with LRA and trigams. All of it happened so fast that it would be likely the fastest defeat Kuro had ever faced. His idiocy mixed in with cowardice had cost him this fight. For him to stand there, unprepared and unactivated; and not even to demand that his partner arm himself properly at least, was a disgrace. He was a disgrace. And Kagura’s blood would be on Kuro’s hands, and soon all over Kagura himself as Kagura woudl be the first to suffer once both parties had been wounded. Though Kagetsu did not know if any response was indeed possible, he was prepared. What he DID know, however, is that Kagura and Kuro would be forced to stop all of his moves at once if they were to stop themselves from almost certain doom. For they were reacting to something coming at them at nearly triple their speed; and at a distance of nearly zero chance for reaction. Any other variables he would leave to his sister, he was likely hot on his heels. But for now, these two sheep were his to feed on. It was quite humorous, lastly, that the two men really believed that avoiding the temple would be an intelligent strategy. On the contrary, it was the very thing Kagetsu desired them to do. Because Kuro, the great traitor, was far more human than he was Ootstsuki, he failed to know that the climate of Thanagar was topic. The temple was not merely a place of worship, but a place of sancturary. The auras within the atmosphere were something that it took many years for the Ootsutsuki to become accustomed to. Because neither Kuro nor Kagura had been here, they would be subject to hits affects; unlike Kagetsu and his sister who were immune due to having been here much longer and more frequently. Kuro never did have a knack for strategy, and furthermore he should have known better than to ever risk standing completely still with no jutsu active when faced against his brother. Did he think that Kagetsu would wait for him to “charge” up an attack for build up a defense? Or perhaps the naive fool was seriously expecting a welcome party. For his brother and sister to come out and greet and/or threaten him. These are not earthlings, dear Kuro. The more advanced a race is the fewer the words they have for one another. The poor man did not know that, and it was fine. Because quite frankly, Kagetsu and Yourichi would have aboslutely absued, wrecked and annihilated Kuro and whoever else he brought with him. It was a mercy that their defeat, and soon their death, were coming sooner than later. It toook ever thread of strength within Kagetsu not to kill Kuro on earth and humiliate him. But it was a private affair, this matter between the two siblings. And thus, it would be handled privately.

And just like that, the games were set to begin.

The dimensional rift in time and space that linked the two dimensions together successfully closed shortly after the earth version of the Ootsutsuki duo entered through it, this effectively left them on the clan's foreign planet helpless and at the mercy of its inhabitants and foreign environment. With its various methods of ocular penetration the Byakugan left very little hidden from the one wielding it, in this case Yourichi, who grew increasingly irritated by the actions of her younger brother as she watched from Omoi's side. Whether it be that his doujutsu was ineffective at such a distance or the fact that Kuro simply didn't care for the woman he once proclaimed his love to, rather than seek her out immediately his attention was focused else where, specifically in his own preservation. What a mortal way of thinking... "Well well well, would you look at that... It appears that the grunt really has no care for this meat bag..." She said battering the lifeless body with the staff once again. Alhough her gaze was now upon her eldest brother Yourichi made effective use of her clan's heritage and kept the foreigner's movements and actions within her mind's eye. You're actions inevitably have become wasted moves, brother... Her death signified nothing for Kurotsuchi... Go forth, Kagetsu, make up for your arrogance..." No sooner had the words left from off of her tongue did Kagetsu spring to life.

In a matter of moments Yourichi was left alone, well not entirely, Omoi's body was still present and with the revelation a plan went into action. The length of the staff extended toward the restraints holding the corpse in place in the cross, with the point turned into a serrated hook one quick strike released the girl causing her body crash into the floor. "Excuse me my dear... I'm sure the grunt has done far worse to you any how... " Working in tandem with her essentially speaking to herself, Yourichi manipulated her staff once more and drove a straight spiked end up the anal cavity of the corpse. A lack of medical ninjutsu skill and knowledge made the act much more sinister than it needed to be, nevertheless the Ootsutsuki female was driven by carnage and gore, thus the precision factor of her actions didn't matter so long as the body remained in place to serve her new master. A slight bend at the knee helped propel the women skyward eventually breaking through the roof of the temple allowing even more of the outside environment to seep in, in her hand lay the base of the staff with the corpse at the other end.

It was at this time did the effects of her brother's genjutsu become active, it would appear that he was going with his typical bombardment method which directly contradicted Yourichi's psychological style of warfare. Upon making her way to the edge of the temple's roof the entirety of the scene could be seen, it's combatants, and anything that lay within the surrounding environments. "Have you forgotten about us, Kuro? Brother? We have not forgotten about you, your older brother and I. We even went out of the way to remove this bitch from the plane of the living..." Yourichi spoke out loud addressing her younger sibling before raising her arm equipped with the staff into the air for all to see the mutilated body of Omoi, she was now nothing but a ragdoll on a stick, yet the audience was momentarily unable to view her accomplishments. Hmm...? Damn you brother, undermining me again... A furious persona resonated within her psyche, but on the outside she remained calm and calculated. With no one's attention focused on her Yourichi jumped from the roof toward the location of a signature of chakra foreign from Kuro's off to the earth duo's right. Although a plume of dust rose from the earth upon her landing, no sound indicated she had ever been just fifteen meters in-between the point of focus and the real action with her brothers, a product of her knowledge of various Taijutsu styles. The sheer force of the impact caused Omoi's body to slide down the staff even more, the other end making its way up and out of her esophagus.

I've prepared something for you brother... It's been a long time coming, but my skills have increased and an audience do I seek... Listen on as the symphony laces the air!!! Yourichi began to tunnel into her own madness and a lust for blood began to creep up the length of her spine in the form of an insatiable itch. Channeling her chakra through the staff changed its form once more causing miniscule spikes to pierce through the body of Omoi before they were quickly retracted and in the process creating fingering holes along her body, an additional foot was added to the makeshift flutes length bringing it to a total of 8 feet. With the others engaged in a sensory war Yourichi brought the mouthpiece to her lips and a frenzied melody began to fill the air, three invisible blades of wind from the chakra that was released began to dance around the kunai in the event that an escape was to be made, the other four circled around her own body providing a makeshift defense if the event called for it.

Their lack of taking the initiative left Kagura and Kuro at the mercy of the sibling duo, yet simultaneously their health was being compromised as well. The actions of all present parties made nowhere on this planet a safe haven for the earth duo besides across time and space on their own, how the events would unfold next would surely be a test of will.

The time to reminisce on past moments, emotions of varying levels and nature was not at hand. Kurotsuchi could not only sense and keep track of Chakra. But he was most certainly able to sense the blood lust, the rage, and complete resentment that was being steered towards him. In some ways it was overwhelming for sure, but he was very much aware. His Byakugan activated in response to fluctuations in Kagura's Chakra. The one known as Kurotsuchi was in tuned with his friend. And so the man reacted the moment when Kagura's vision changed from mere seeing, to a more in depth analysis. Ala the X-ray vision or at least his attempt at it. Now armed with sight also, Kurotsuchi could not only see, but sense the Chakra signatures that was inside the temple. Further more, it was then that he laid eyes on Omoi', the lifeless body of his wife. The man had not realized this, perhaps brought on by his lackluster attitude. Upon his arrival, he made certain moves that was on the side of caution. It was the most basic thing to do, prepare an exit strategy. At least until you knew exactly what you were up against. Either way, Kurotsuchi will come to find out soon enough. But while his brother watched him for those brief moments before choosing to attack. Kurotsuchi felt overwhelmed, he desired his own death to some extent. To think that he would have to live on without Omoi by his side. On the other hand, he felt nothing but regret and disgust within himself. The emperor had committed a terrible sin, and needed to be punished. Hell, he may well stand there and show no resistance whatsoever. Kurotsuchi will have to hope that Kagura will forgive him somehow. At times like these, the man felt unworthy in every way. Just how could he have allowed for this to happen? In all his wisdom and due care, Kurotsuchi had become careless overtime. Having been lured into a false sense of security within himself. He was dependent on the love of his family and comrades. A lot of things was happening and fast, but the rush of emotions that Kurotsuchi felt, occurred in a millisecond. It was well before Kagetsu thought to take a step forward to launch his attack. His emotions squeezed his stomach tighter, made his heart heavy with sorrow. In what seemed like an eternity before his brother's muscle even flinched to make a move in his direction. These moments were brief, but his agony was torturous. Why was he being punished? And why did this punishment felt as if it had been going on for centuries?

The Shinobi that is Kurotsuchi did not  possess the answers right now. But knew that he needed to at least try for Omoi's sake. He needed to try and get revenge, absolution had to be hers. And should he die trying, then he shall be reunited in the pure land with his wife. So in some ways, death was only a new beginning for them both. In fact he welcomed the idea of having the last laugh at Kagetsu's expense. Imagine both himself and Omoi relaxing in the after life. Doing all the beautiful things that his own brother despised so much. The love making, holding hands as they walked the beach. Maybe even producing some pure land babies. Hell, Kurotsuchi will once again have the attention of their mother and father. The parents who so long ago dubbed him as a special child. Yes, Kurotsuchi was so different compared to his siblings. Simply because they chose to live a life without laughter. Their duty turned out to be their burden, and how unfortunate for them not to have gained freedom. In their eyes Kurotsuchi had abandoned them, and was a deserter. Such foolish thoughts! And that is exactly why, even if unintended, Kagetsu and Yourichi lived in his shadows. The sadness that Kurotsuchi felt was also brought on by the genuine love that he had, and still has for his siblings. But by the moment he was growing bitter. With all that said though, Kurotsuchi had long since come to realize something. He wasn't quite capable of absorbing nature energy. Could it be that the planet was a dying one? He could also feel the effects of the plains on his body. The man had come to notice this the moment he made his attempt to do so.  But that will have to come later, since he had to deal with his siblings first. Their insatiable appetite for his death made him feel important. Giving the man all this attention will prove to be their own downfall to an extent. In any event, the time for chit chat was pretty much over. Kurotsuchi was well aware of his brother, keeping an eye on his movements. His Kunai had landed and took its place behind them, long before Kagura had even thrown his off to the side. However, to think that his brother wasn't on the move would be foolish.

His brother being Kagetsu no doubt. So even as the man dashed forward with LRA, in what was no doubt a speedy attack. Kurotsuchi had already vanished, utilizing the Hiraishin technique. His destination was obvious for sure, and that he wanted to create some room. Yes, room between himself and Kagetsu who was on the attack. There was an underestimation of Kurotsuchi's abilities. And perhaps and overestimation of Kagetsu's own. But no matter, since he didn't need to set himself to be able to simply vanish. That was the key thing about the flying thunder god technique. So before Kagetsu actually reached his killing range, Kurotsuchi had vanished. As such, Kagetsu would reach his intended destination to a vacated spot, previously occupied by his male sibling. Kurotsuchi having left before the Genjutsu could take effect and the bullets could pelt his body. Maybe Kurotsuchi should have left behind a mirage. But right now, Kagetsu will have to redirect his focus. One can choose to follow Kurotsuchi or to deal with Kagura. Either way there was a division of sorts.  As Kagetsu left, Kurotsuchi appeared on the scene simultaneously. The man being a meter behind Omoi's body, that wasn't yet off the cross. This was of course due to the speed of Kurotsuchi, his hand now formed into the Horse hand seal. The man was already prepared upon entering the temple, with his sister being at two meters into the blood pool. The husband of the dead woman had long since placed a seal on her. And as it goes, the Hiraishin seal never disappears from a marked target.  Kurotsuchi released a vicious fire release Jutsu. Great Fire Annihilation; that was the name of the Jutsu. The Jutsu was released immediately as Kurotsuchi arrived on the scene. At which point his sister was extending her staff towards Omoi's body. The Jutsu was fast, and no doubt powerful. Spanning an area of eighty meters in height and of equal width also. The Jutsu was utilized within close proximity to his sister. And more than likely will no doubt reduce Omoi's body to ash. They same was expected of his sister's body too. With the Jutsu being released, Kurotsuchi himself activated his lightning release armor. And at full capacity, meanwhile stringing together several hand seals. The Happuri headgear that the man sports was blown off. This came as a result of the LRA being activated at full power, directly into stage two. The crimson abomination in his forehead was revealed, meanwhile the sight of his Byakugan was taken. He could still sense, and was sensing what was happening around himself. The power of the blaze, would push back most anything not on its level of power. Melting and reducing things to ash, meanwhile conquering a wide area. It was a merciless assault, just like Kagetsu had planned for him. In any case the hand seals formed were, tiger; Boar, Tiger, Ram, Dragon. While attacking, he was looking out for Yourichi's response to him. After the masterful and speedily completion of his hand seals, his right hand flicked ever so gracefully. Releasing four pulse kunai blades heading into different directions. The motion of his hand and masterful Bukijutsu abilities, ensured he wasn't short of capabilities. The pulse blades landed inside the temple, with a twenty meter between them. The fire Jutsu came to an end, only taking a second for Kurotsuchi to start the blaze. And promptly after the man had activated other Jutsus in anticipation of what was to come.

Whether or not he will use these Justsus remained to be seen though. He was being mindful of a reaction, and will do so, should his plan to attack Yourichi as intended failed. In any case though, the man had made sure to spread the Jutsu to its full effect. So much so that Yourichi would be corned, finding no refuge above or below as Kurotsuchi sought to back her into a corner. He was quite frankly expecting Kagetsu to change tact, and Kurotsuchi was hoping he would. Since then that meant Kagura was free to do whatever. This was a game of tag for Kurotsuchi now. And hopefully his brother didn't mind playing along.

Naruto Shippuden OST - Kokuten
Title Here
[Word Count]

The Byakugan; it is one of the hallmarks of the dreaded Otsutsuki clan. It is how the clan has survived throughout the centuries; especially since Kagura came into being. The humans would sometimes call it, the 'All Seeing Eye'. And yes there was truth to that statement; it was a truth that all Otsutsuki knew well and used in and out of battle and it mattered not about being young or old. Kagura was a killer in his own right, merciless, strategic, cunning and truly of a cold heart. Nothing mattered to him apart from the preservation of the Emperor and his Empire. His life mattered last as any true soldier would have it. He could feel his life force drop a bit. Knowing fully well it was this environment. He had to get into the temple or be underground to stop this depletion of his life force. So long as he was not up on the ground above. As Kagura's Bykaugan peered effortlessly into the temple, he saw the immediate initial movements of the male Otsutsuki. Kagura did not know nor did he care who they were. All he knew is that they were no doubt the ones responsible for slaying the Queen Mother and they must be stopped and they will be. It was only a matter of time. Over the centuries, Kagura learnt that despite the insurmountable odds stacked against him, he would prevail in the end. Any act of intimidation by the enemies was met with his emotionless and porcelain type face. In this instance, it would be quite different. His opponents were Otsutsuki after all, and he would not underestimate them. Neither would he any warrior that stood before him. None received special treatment. Appear as a threat and be cut down like everyone else.

Then there was the fact of who his partner was. This was the Emperor of the Abraxus Empire himself. So he was not alone in this situation. Either way, it was all set at least from on his side as he had seen the male occupant of the temple position himself inside the tunnel, just five meters behind the door and official entrance. The opponent and would be attacker was in the darkness of the walls and therefore could not be seen by the naked eye; but surely by the all-seeing Byakugan of Kagura and no doubt his Emperor as well. With this time window, Kagura's muscles was already tensed as he prepared for the unexpected and oh how the seemingly unexpected happened. His kunai had already left his hands; this indeed was fact and it was all he needed. The kunai was already in a downward direction, at a forty five degree angle to be exact, towards the ground; and the kunai was exactly one meter away from striking the ground. When Kagura saw the chakra fluctuations of the male enemy Otsutsuki's technique had been activated; as if by instinct, yes it was indeed that because otherwise, even too much thought would have been too late as Kagura disappeared and simultaneously appeared below the still air born kunai which was now twenty nine meters away from his previous position. Because of the attacker's trajectory of being in a straight line, with Kagura now being twenty nine meters away, and with his enemy's great speed, it would be near impossible for the enemy to stop his direction and turn around in time to attack Kagura directly as he had already slipped underground with his attack prevention jutsu. Kagura was now at home in the ground being of the exact same composition that the planet Earth was what was to come next was destined to happen. Warm and homely the ground was to him. As with with jutsu, all Earth became his home. Kagura was now one hundred meters underground when he formed the Snake hand seal as it was called forth my its master. His senju blood that surged within him and his power gave him such an ability and now, he called it forth like a slave. Bursting forth as if they were alive and having a mind of its own were massive branches warping and twisting in every direction while simultaneously sending out pink flowers which bloomed quickly sending out continuously brutal pollen dust which the opponent will be feeling eventually since it can conquer any defense especially one that the opponent has which was made of chakra. Out of the hundreds of branches one after the next twisted themselves with great speed towards the Otsutsuki opponent of Kagura. Whether it was to wrap him or entangle him, it mattered not. Now the opponent was in trouble of being knocked out by this pollen and being caught in the army of tree branches that relentlessly attacked. Kagura stayed underground at one hundred meters while watching everything unfold before his Byakugan.

Description: The user creates their own unique seal and places it on any object they choose; and it lasts permanently. It costs 15 chakra to place a seal somewhere. The user then is able at will to instantaneously transport themselves to that place, or to transport other objects/people that they are touching; the chakra cost depends on the distance and the object. User of this technique can also link their own unique seal with another user's. And by doing so enables them to jump/transport or even send individuals to the location of their markings, or otherwise connected to their chakra without physically going with them.

  • 50-300 Meters =  35 Chakra.
  • 300-500+ meters = 55 Chakra.
  • 500+ = 80 chakra

  • Objects:
  • Humans, Animals, Weapons etc. - 15 chakra per object
  • Summons, Buildings, Bijuu, Massive objects - 60 Chakra per object
  • The user may place their seal on different objects and in different places. You must put which objects/places you have placed your seal in your signature as a spoiler so that the places are confirmed*
Combination: Can work in tandem with other FTG users. Can also utilized techniques deriving from the Flying Thunder God Technique.

Ruling

FTG requires you to place your seals in your signature as a spoiler so that the places may be verified. You have not done this, so your teleportation to Omoi's body is being omitted and the topic continues as stated.

Due to having lack of access to a computer or consistent service, I'm not going to be able to post before Oct. 27. I will ask that staff take over my role from this point on so that the quest can proceed.

Kurotsuchi no Quest Phoenix-wright-objection

Your Honor, I would ask that you reconsider your ruling.

Admittedly and honestly, I have overlooked this guideline where it states that you must put it in your signature. I hazard a guess and say it was put there for confirmation. And also for the purposes of ensuring someone didn't simply make stuff up.

News flash. But this seal placement wasn't made up, and I also provided a link to this happening in character. Not to mention, that this seal placement and others, have been a constant feature on my update page. Go visit the very first page and see it at the top. Not like I can lie about it, considering it shows when the page was LAST EDITED.

So I have made efforts to at least keep track of where the seals are. Which also constitutes to "Confirmation/Verification" in one form or another.

Furthermore. The Roleplayer having to place said information in their signature can and will lead to Metagaming. And that is part of the problem here I feel. The surprise factor that one didn't foresee. Its the same as with most things, I don't expect to know what everyone is doing all the time. But I do expect that there is some sort of evidence to back it up, if and when it gets question. I have more than a sufficient amount of evidence. It took place in character, and is on my updates page, along with other links and other stated places. You can CONFIRM that much.

Its a contradiction of other site rules(NO METAGAMING) to say "You Must" under the pretense of "confirmation/verification" purposes. There is evidence of it taking place IC. There is a link on my updates page, and I also provided a link when I made my post. Apart from not adding it to my signature, I have made enough effort to ensure it was legitimately placed.

At present, it appears of as if something so minor is making unnecessary headlines. So I will leave this up to your yourselves.

Overruled

You responded reasonably and that is appreciated. Please be aware that you are in the middle of a Major Request against a staff NPC. Mishaps lead to rulings. In a fight with another member, this mistake would have allowed them to claim a hit on your character. As such, this is no different.
If you feel the stipulations of FTG lead to intentional metagaming, you may address that in another topic and request FTG to be revised accordingly. However, this is a combat thread against a staff NPC so there is no chance for you to be metagamed: nor to justify the mistake by pointing out the flaw of the rule. No matter how trivial the rule, you failed to uphold it. This mistake has led to you taking a hit from the NPC due to your teleportation being voided. While unfortunate indeed, this isnt the end. Consider this situation as a eye opener to be more observant. This time it's just a hit, next time might not be so fortunate.

https://shinobifablesuntold.forumotion.com/t1117-combat-rules

Rei.... I must implore you to also take those rules into consideration. Right now, it would appear that you've been hasty with your decision making here. Not to step on your toes or anything. But everyone has a duty of care towards role playing. Your ruling according to the combat rules is not iron clad. Or at least should not be, without challenge.

Combat Rules wrote:Post Errors

What happens when your opponent posts something that is inaccurate or is considering illegal? Basically, when the person you are rpng with does something that you consider to be metagaming, an improper use of a technique, or doing something that overall is not possible or non-sensical?

1. Provide evidence of what in their post you disagree with specifically, and ask for the ruling of a mod.

2. A mod will come and judge whether or not your claim is correct and if so, what corrections must be made or penalties paid.

Now let me explain in further detail how this works in certain situations. Basically, when your opponent makes a mistake in their post, depending on how large it is, depends on the general ruling of a mod.

Lack of Handseals - So your opponent performed a technique without specifically posting hand seals. Technically this is wrong, however this is a minor post mistake if one at all. This would only be considered a real offense if hand seals in the given situation would affect the timeline in a noticeable way. If not, than the most a mod will usually require is that the person make an edit to include specifically that he/she has made hand signs. That is all.
If it does affect the timeline, than the person who errored will be asked to edit and the person who is responding may be given the ability to edit their post to respond differently.

Techniques: Description or Definition?
- So when responding to someone's post, what if they make an error in their use or description of a technique? Should you go by definition or description? You have one of two options; you may go by their description, and if they described it wrong react thus while at the same time not contradicting the integrity of the technique (not bypassing what it can do by definition), OR you may ask a mod to require them to edit that part of their post.

Overall, description and definition are things that need to fuse when writing. You must describe your technique in such a way as to promote the way in which it is being used, while at the same time holding fast to the limits of the technique. It is a courtesy to post the techniques used in your thread in a spoiler; but not a requirement all the time as that would ruin the point of traps and such.

This could have been sorted out between Evers and Seto as they're both admins. But to point to something up in those rules and apply to the situation at hand.

Case in point, Evers didn't exactly state making hand seals for one of his Jutsus. One that does in fact require such a thing. However, this was noted by myself and Kuro, and he chalked it up as a minor thing. So overlooked it and said lets work with it. Nevertheless, that was a posting error. But there seems to be a difference in personalities here.

Techniques and their description. Well we all know how Flying Thunder God works. While I can appreciate that there are some stipulations on some techniques. I.E the omission of the links to seal placements. You can't overlook the fact that Kuro has made efforts to at least show some verification. Its on his updates page, and more importantly its something which transpired IC. It wasn't made up. So on balance, this is actually a minor thing in terms of use of the technique. No link in signature, okay fine. But is there not a link on the update's page to at least track it? There are also IC posts, and a topic to match right?

In terms of the rules, description and definition. According to those rules, Kuro used the technique as we all know it works in a canonical sense. The technique was used within its limits as suggested by the combat rules. This comes down to either you refuse to be lenient, or simply refuse to follow other rules. It seems silly and a shame to say its the rules and that's final. Especially, when there are other rules which contradicts such statements.

I do wonder if other quests will be treated so "seriously" as this one.

Concluded

You make a few fair points, however incomplete. Yes, the combat guide has specifics in regars to combat and how it is handled. This does not exonerate Kuro from his fault of not abiding by a rule of a Limited jutsu. FTG has additional stipulations & one of those stipulations was not met. This is a death enabled thread and is being treated as a serious situation due to the magnitude of the outcome. My decision is neither hasty, inconclusive or in any way bias, partial or malicious in nature or intent. Of all people Kagura, you should know me best to not be any of those no matter how much I like or dislike someone.
Kuro gets no leniency for various reasons. Reasons he and the staff are aware of and take into consideration when dealing with him. Whether he feels there is conspiracy in play or not is inconsequential because there is no such plots to ruin him or anything of that sort. There is a fine line of adhering to the rules and not. Those who make a few simple mistakes will receive more leniency than someone who has repeatedly done things in question to be taken serious.

This is an important thread on both sides of the coin. The members' and the staff's. I am playing impartial and I was requested to moderate Kuro's post. If either of you as members felt or saw something in the posts of the staff that was improper, then you should have invoked your rights as a member to request edits, clarification or an auto-hit. While I understand the sentiment of "overlooking" small details: forgetting to include handseals or other important information during a post is not "small" details. Don't pick & choose your fights. If you say nothing because you know you can get around it, but then voice your concern when a matter comes up that you can't get around- you've created a double standard and are partial in the matter. The staff asked for Kuro's thread to be moderated due to inaccurate use of FTG's stipulations, I was not asked to moderate the staff's posts. You bringing to light the staff's fault as NPC in this thread is valid but superseded by the NPCing staff's request for moderation due to you two not voicing the problem you saw. Instead, you continued onward and validated their actions by posting instead of asking for moderation.

In conclusion. I appreciate your late concerns you've addressed and if you see or feel that the staff NPCing the thread is inaccurate or inappropriate, then please do message me and ask me to moderate. I expect both parties to roleplay professionally in this death enabled thread: a decision has been made and I will reconsider my stance if another moderator or two voices in opposition of my ruling. As it stands, this is the decision. So please do not continue to post OOC debate on the decision. You two have provided your points and fairly requested reconsideration. Leave it to the staff to determine the outcome and continue on with your thread.

In general I very much agree with Rei, but as you all know I am not particularly fond of the wall of text format, so let me break this down very simply.

1- If you have an issue with a law you don't break it and cry when you get arrested. You write a local representative, vote, or run for office. You are in a beautiful situation where you can actually contact and get a reply from those who work this site, and I would never tae that from you.

2- Having something in your spoiler is not meta-gaming. Your Jutsu is also in your spoiler and you don't just assume that a Genin will act like they know the secret weakness of a tech. We do not have time to follow every link every time you use a Jutsu. Follow the rules of the tech no matter what they may be. If you do not wish to follow them you are in luck because this site has a plethora of amazing Jutsu!

3- The reason for that rule is not to allow meta gaming. It is to avoid vague manipulation and god mod, which are both more common at this point in time.

4- I would like that you not insult our judgement or pretend we are out to get you. I am more than smart enough to read between the lines of that comment about turning something small into a headline. Remember, there is a reason that the five of us are staff, and you no longer are. And as there are four of us and one owner, I would request you not cause more issue for us as our work load is high and our capacity is low.

Counting myself, Rei, and the NPCing staff, this is as good as a majority staff vote as one can get in an in character topic. This means that things are pretty official. If you wish to change these rules the same chances are available to you as are to everybody else. Go through the proper channels instead of bringing the whole site to a halt.

Final Ruling

So now that I am back let me close this chapter.

Firstly, this topic has literally crippled activity on this site; so naturally, I am not of a positive mind whatsoever towards this whole thing. It has directly and indirectly taken a toll on everyone, and hardly progress has been made. This should have been handled and moved on from by now. And before anyone points fingers, let me also point out that all of this bickering has discouraged other members from rpng as well as Questing; they’ve told me. This topic is officially three weeks old...
So everyone listen up please.

Do what the jutsu says please. Whenever possible, I’d like to avoid staff having to take the time and pause a topic. Nobody likes that and it is unpleasant for all parties involved. Just do what the tech says. If you don’t think it should say/do that - something should have been said prior to this topic. If you break a rule, that is on you. I ask that staff be lenient when possible, but you need to read the tech and do what it says. It’s not that complicated.

Next comes the sermon, so get your bibles out. And just to be clear, everyone in this topic is “guilty” in my eyes accept maybe Kagura.
The point of the quest system was to challenge members on their quests to something great and make it interesting, not to try desperately to beat them. Risking your life against an NPC is already unnerving enough, there was no need for this to be made out as some kind of “no inches given” scenario. My attack itself was made full-well knowing there was the good possibility both enemies would escape. And as of now Seto and I are in full control of this quest and on the offensive, so there just isn’t a need for little things to stall things out for literally weeks on end.

Secondly, and perhaps I did not make this clear, I do not want members getting killed left and right on quests. Or on anything where they are facing NPC really. Getting beaten is one thing; but murdered by an NPC when the rules of the situation are also arbitrary and stacked against you? Nobody profits from that.
Getting killed by a mod ruling is like losing a basketball game in the championship because of a referee. Referees are not supposed to be the determining factor in any competition. If that were the case, there would be no point; just bribe the ref. Likewise, rp battles should not be conclusively ended by a moderator - like almost ever. Calling for an auto-hit or not letting someone edit their post is too harsh of a ruling for the first mistake in a topic, and a minor one. The spirit of the combat rules was to explain how messing up a post could be cause for your opponent to call for a ruling; but not for the first minor mistake to be ruled as an auto-hit. Auto-hits should rarely happen in battle; and at the very minimum should only happen when there are two real people involved. NPC should not be auto-hitting people on minor details like not putting something in your spoiler. And just to be clear, not putting the location of something in your spoiler IS A MINOR THING in this specific situation. I would not let anyone on this site perish in an OOC event because of something that silly when it is their first mistake. I appreciate mods enforcing rules and being clear about why a ruling must be stuck to that is “legal”; but I’d just like to point out that context sets the tone for a ruling as much as content. The context of this situation is that this is a game, this is someone character who has been building one up faithfully for months now on this site, this event was for the benefit of members, not their destruction, and lastly - this isn’t affecting anyone very much. If this were someone’s actual character fighting him - maybe this could be plausible, though still extreme. It is quite clear the way I made the combat rules that in minor situations mods can determine situationally what is appropriate; and as the creator of said rules, I think this situation is extremely inappropriate to be trying to kill someone with.

Now let's take this a bit further because obviously there is some tension past the lines.

Staff doesn’t like you Kuro because you were very condescending and rude as an Admin. They are not out to get you and this is not a purely bias ruling, but as you can imagine their patience and mercy for your are minimal at best. You haven’t made the efforts yet to amend that either. Sometimes you have to re-open wounds so here goes. I told you how important interaction with members was for quite some time while you were an admin. Making public enemies with Rei, Jianyu and whoever just so happened to piss you off at a given time was not ok or appropriate. I gave you leeway because they are instigators and you are a founder. But enough is enough, and as you can understand me getting more problems and stress because of an ADMIN is the silliest thing I’ve ever heard of. I get pms and skypes daily about the unfairness or callousness of you in various ways; and quite frankly dude, you were a jerk to me as well - even when I stuck up for you or amended your issues with people behind the scenes. So you do not even have any leverage from ME, because of how antagonistic you were as staff. If you ever find yourself fighting one of staff, expect careful rulings and expect to not have your mistakes willy nilly dismissed. Next time in a more real situation it really could cost you your life.

I want to make clear to the two staff modding this in particular you that your understanding of why Kuro was demoted is largely exaggerated at this point. This was no massive conspiracy. I fired Kuro because he was too hostile to members and callous about things that did not directly affect his character. Furthermore he underpaid for various jutsu, added too high of stats to others, and of course he made a weapon ability that was underhandedly approved. I am told that weapon was reviewed by staff as well but I digress. Now that I’ve been blunt about what he did do, let me be blunt about how you all are exaggerating. He did not systematically try to ruin the site or shape it in his character’s image. That would not have been allowed to happen. He did not literally and outright attack Rei or Jianyu nor does he hate them; you guys just don’t mix well. So this excessive emphasis on the reign of terror by Kuro is really just an allergic reaction to the way he goes about things.
As I said before Kuro - you can be rude.. And it breeds resentment from members who are powerless to do something about directly, and who are relying on you to check their things and approve things for their characters. In a very real sense, you are getting a taste of your own medicine by those same people now being staff.

But back to staff in this address - you all need to chill out about Kuro. All the things I stated he did he was reprimanded for. He paid for his techs, all of his stuff was rechecked and put on pause, and he was demoted from Admin to a normal member. Lastly, he now is subject to the authority of people who make little efforts to hide the fact that they dislike him, and will not give him even an inch on any creation or ruling. That in and of itself is a punishment to someone who has worked diligently on this site since February and been an active member. What he did does not deserve character deletion in the slightest and acting like he needs to be put on some terrorist watch list is absurd and shows that we are all taking this game wayyyy too seriously. His “abuse” was ended, paid for and now he is serving out his sentence. And quite patiently I might add. I haven’t had any issues with Kuro since his termination from staff, nor excessive complaining. He went back to rpng and staying active, and submitted to every demand I had for him. This isn’t the military, nor some high ranking company where mistakes should be punished by execution or complete dismissal. It is a game. Games are played for fun and enjoyment. If you don’t like him, kill his character IC. I have no problems with that and in fact it has been on my bucket list for quite some time. But this beef all of you have with each other needs to stop, I’m tired of refereeing it. You all need to find a way to amicably communicate back and forth without the need for intervention; and that is adressed to you as well Kuro.
All members need to be treated fairly and give some benefit of the doubt. There should not be a separate list of members who are treated differently because of some injury they’ve caused you in the past. If I, the Owner of the site, allow someone to rp here and have an existing character - they need to be treated like all other members.
Rei, lord knows how much and how many times you’ve ticked me off or you and I have gotten into it OOC. But I’ve never been ok or allowed you to be bullied continually. You may say I have because you had issues with Kuro, but you’re wrong. You got MS on a technicality; one that Kuro vehemently was against and for good reason. I denied the vote of essentially all my staff at that time and allowed it. I took the time to moderate your topic with Kuro and to look at various concerns you have had for the site. You’ve for the majority of the time I’ve known you only had negative things to say about me and the way I do things - but like everyone else you’ve benefited. One simply needs to look at your character now for evidence of that. And though I’m sure you’ve maybe shown ANY kind of appreciation to me twice in my entire time knowing you, I’ve done right to and for you in various ways and situations. If the roles were reversed, I’d be laughing at Kuro trying to kill you in this kind of situation - and everyone here knows that to be true.
Vaughn I appreciate many qualities in you, but putting foam on a hammer does not deafen the blow anymore than putting a candy rapper on a bullet lessens the penetration. You’re a tough guy - but this is a game, and Kuro is the farthest thing from a threat. No one has been more invested in this site nor sacrificed more than me for it. If I deem him acceptable to exist, I’m asking as a friend and fellow staff member that you honor that and not put someone at gunpoint unless absolutely necessary. I’d like a site where staff does not have to be the police.

Kuro - I’m going to demand that you be extremely careful with updating your jutsu list and everything you do in general. I am not even sure which limited or Pseudo limited techs you have and I can tell not all of them have been reported. Stuff like that does not rub people the right way, even if it is by accident. And as someone who was staff, you’re expected to do better than that. So while I am asking staff to take their foot off your neck, you need to be as transparent as possible with your stuff starting immediately with the limiteds you have etc. Failure to do this will have consequences from this point on, I shouldn’t have to verify your stuff constantly and neither should staff. Lastly, trust is earned, not given. I don’t blame them entirely for not going easy on you. My point is, it’s YOUR job to amend your reputation in the eyes of current staff. Act accordingly.

With all that being said…
This topic is voided entirely, and none of you need to contact me in complaint about this. I don’t want another response from ANYONE on this topic nor arguments on skype. I don't care if I said something you disagreed with or don't like - what else is new? Don’t message me. I'm locking this topic.
If you’re mad, quit.. Otherwise, let's move on. Kuro and Kagura will be allowed to restart their quest according to the new rules of the quest system per my announcement.

I hope you all are as excited to fight IC as OOC, because this Kage Meeting will determine what sides are taken in the site’s first world war. And as far as I'm concerned, all of you are my enemies until proven otherwise.
Happy Huntingz

"Staff" does not include me. Ever set certain standards for you after the fact and Kuro has met them. Any rulings, on my behalf, are purely from a Staff point of view. Please don't EVER include me in such rants without addressing me first...

Don't group me in with disliking a person. Objectivity is key, and Kuro is a longtime friend.
