Don’t despise the day of small beginnings.
Mithrandir and Kurotsuchi found themselves in the most humble place they’d been in since they could remember. Both sovereigns had gone through an immersion process previous to their ascension to the throne of their respective races. The new Aesir were only a small colony but they were soon developing into a full blown civilization. The Vanir were a much easier pack to put together as Kuro had started with a healthy amount of them to begin with.
Both tribes had their own hurdles to overcome in once more becoming a superpower in the nine realms.
Mithrandir and Kurotsuchi had left earth weeks ago upon learning that much of what they thought they’d know about their childhood had been a deception. Their new enemy was in fact an old one. One that had been the underlying cause of all the events that had dominated their lives for as long as they could remember. They’d taken lodging in the small country town of Lovgin. There, the two men had once wondered throughout the fields playing games, chasing animals, and being chased. Mithrandir could remember racing his brothers home to the cabin at the end of the neighborhood. There, they were met with the smile of an old and warm man named Cthulu; the man that’d raised them. The idea that he might somehow be in relationship to these… Titans… sickened Mithrandir.
Mithrandir had short golden hair, neatly organized around his tan face, glowing white eyes. He wore white robes, not unlike the Greeks of old. This morning he found himself walking through a golden field of wheat, a row of mountains in the far distance ahead, the village behind him. As he walked through, the sun arose to his left, just like it did on Earth. Kurotsuchi and himself were staying with an older woman who they'd known as children. Obscurity wasn’t something either of them were great at, but being in Lovgin certainly made it easier to disappear off the map sortospeak. Kurotsuchi was likely in the house still sleeping, meditating, or better yet helping make breakfast with the old lady. He no doubt would be coming along shortly, but in the meantime Mithrandir allowed the morning breeze and the damp silence to clear his mind.
This was the beginning of the next adventure.
