In the beginning, was the Orient.

Before there were realms, there was the orient.

The Orient was a concentrated cluster of the most potent forms of energy and matter in the universe. From there consciousness first began. The first beings came to be known as the "gods" of the realms. The gods were they who divided the orient into seven separate realms with dimensions to separate passageway into each. There were three kinds of beings that ruled the first age; the Titans, the Elementals, and the Great Ones.

The elementals and the great ones came to be at odds with the Titans, and so began an eon of war throughout the realms. Having overcome the titans in the first age, the great ones and the elementals began to cultivate life. Now the elementals and great ones, by their nature, existed on another plane than those of organic life. This meant they were not able to
