Many years ago, in the eight realm of the Orient, there was one of many wars between the Aesir and the Vanir. These warring tribes fought over an ancient treasure known as the Morris Stones. These rocks were symbolic of the ancient history between the Aesir and the Vanir. Long ago, during the first epoch of life in the Orient, the Aesir and the Vanir dwelled in the same land together. The Vanir were a race of primitive, cyclopian organisms at the time.

There, the Aesir put the Vanir to compulsory labor in order to build a great wall around their cities and kingdoms. When one of the Vanir broke into the garden of Aedin to eat of the fruit of Knowledge, everything changed. The Vanir’s eyes were opened and they became a hyper intelligent race capable of liberating themselves from the Aesir and forming their own civilization. Thousands of years later, they wielded an empire that spanned over hundreds of worlds, and advanced technology and information that was unmatchable. Thus, the Vanir effectively closed the gap on the holy race of the Aesir, who had held an eminence over other beings and worlds since the dawn of time.

Now Abraxas, the great, great grandson of Nimrod (the first Vanirian to eat of the fruit and have his eyes opened) continued forth the effort that his ancestors had begun in seeking to overthrow the Aesirian empire.

Now, the Aesir were at this time governed by a ruthless King named Gazef, house of Barabbas.
He had stationed Aesirian warriors over Padmos, a border planet between the eighth and ninth realm where the Morris Stones were located. The border worlds were not to be “owned” by either the Aesirian or Vanirian empires, which was part of an old treaty between both tribes to ensure there was neutral territory in which negotiation and such could be done. Since the discovery of these ancient stones, however, that agreement had come under fire. You see the Vanir had come to own most territory in the eight realm, and the Aesir that of the ninth. Both tribes now sought to expand their empires to lower realms, which in previous generations was not thought to be feasible.

Abraxus, the emperor of the Vanir, had come to realize after examining various scrolls and interrogating conquered worlds that the stones were on Padmos, one of the smallest and meekest of the border worlds.
According to the scientists and priests, the Morris Stones possessed an ancient space-time power that was mysterious and not well understood; but could be vital in the search for a way to enable intergalactic and interdimensional travel on a large scale.

All that being said, still yet there were more fascinating entanglements going on amidst this conflict. A young Aesirian Prince who had just been commissioned to the battle had just arrived. Mithrandir, house of Avalon, was said to be the “Champion of the Aesir” possessing a physical strength and raw power to his energy that hadn’t been seen since ancient times. There was talk amid the generals that he could be the child of prophecy spoken about in the Tablets of Thoth, but it was unclear as of yet. For now, even Gazef suspected the boy to potentially be the one spoken about by the mystics; which if indeed was true, would put his reign in jeopardy. For the time being, Gazef watched Mithrandir closely at a distance, whilst feigning fatherly affection for him in the public eye. He’d sent him on various missions to test him and see if he showed any signs of that could be directly linked to prophecy. In a previous battle to take territory on the world of Kaldron, Mithrandir had revealed new abilities previously foreign even to himself. This raised eyes across the ranks as the young lad displayed the ability to not only masterfully control plantlife, but to create humanoid plant armies capable of conducting battle for him, and completely at his will. He had summoned a small army of plants, say of no more than 100; but it was a quite awe-inspiring feat seeing as it was thought that only direct descendants of Avalon could wield Mokodon to this capacity.

In any case, Gazef disguised this opportunity to test and confirm his divinity, with an offer to award Mithrandir as the Emerald Prince of his house; making his rank just that below the emperor. Gazef was aware that Abraxus was sending his eldest son, Kaichi, to lead this battle. This would be the perfect opportunity to see exactly what Mithrandir truly was capable of.

So then, on the small world of Padmos, the Aesir and the Vanir took camp. The Vanirians had advanced machines and spaceships that took te air whilst their army base was nestled Padmos was primarily a flat and dry land. Days and nights would last for what could be calculated as about a week in Earth time. Thus, the battle began on the even of the sunlight diminishing and the, night taking its place.

The Aesirian army had arrived, their plant spaceships also taken to the air. Mithrandir was under a general, and given specific orders to seek out the most powerful opponents and engage them in direct combat.
Meanwhile, the battle began.

About one hundred Susanoo’s took full-form and began to march forward toward the Aesirian army. The Aesir possessed superior physical might to the Vanir, but the Vanir possessed more weapons and more diverse techniques that leveled the playing field. As the Susanoo’s began to approach the spaceships from both sides took to arerial strikes, and the first moves on the chessboard began.

As the susanoo approached, twelve of the Aesir collaborated to cause a gigantic jungle emerge and terraform the battlefield in a matter of seconds. The earth beneath began to tremble constantly as tree trunks and roots that were larger than buildings began to erupt until trees as high as sky scrapers (400 meters high) emerged. The land, for 400 meters in every direction, was saturated in trees and plant life as both sides began to engage. The Vanir knew what to expect, and wielding the susanoo gave them adequate ability to fight off the dangers of this natural advantage their adversaries carried with them into every battle.
As the Aesir and the Vanir clashed, Mithrandir covertly headed off westward towards a small cluster of hills and mountains.

Not having yet fully developed the Galagan, he could sense great energy even if he couldn’t see it perfectly clear yet. Following the bodily sensations that led him, he settled down on foot into a rather narrow valley with small, black mountains on each side of him, and a small stream that ran straight through the valley. Mithrandir suspected that the prince of the Vanir, son of Abraxas was here. He’d heard stories about the gory exploits of this one. He was a warrior of such skill that he’d even slain a few Aesirian’s single handedly; a feat that brought instant fame to one’s name throughout the realms.

Knowing that the princes of the Vanir were particularly known for speed, he was on his guard. Mithrandir wore blue crystal armor from head to toe, denoting his sapphire rank as a prince. It was blue like ocean blue, and the dense crystal armor looked like it weighed a great deal while it was in fact featherlight. These were some of the many treasures taken from Kaldron upon successful invasion efforts despite their long-term alliances with them in the past. Gazef was a bold and cruel leader, causing the elders and many other older Aesirians to question his dismissal of ancient alliances and allies. If he wasn’t careful, he would lead the Aesir into a corner where they had little if not no true allies.

Nevertheless, Mithrandir was a boy, still not 18 cycles old; who was he to question political policy? It was clear the gods had given him an extraordinary body and stature fit only for warfare; he was instructed since a child to use his gifts for the betterment and prosperity of his race, no matter the cost. His eyes were sharp as he floated through the valley, only a foot or so above ground. He drew nearer and nearer to the energy….

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

A troublesome being scurried about the ginormous castle which housed not himself but also his relatives and their subjects. Said being was none other than the third born and second son of Abraxus. Before him was his two older siblings, his brother and sister. It was no secret that a battle was about to take place. The Vanir and the wretched Aesir decided to make a move. And as such they will come to meet at a place known to them as Padmos. It was vital for both the Vanir and Aesir to assert themselves and achieve their objectives. However, for that to come to pass, it simply meant that one side would become victorious and the other will be the vanquished. A truly horrible predicament but such was the ways of war. The being in question was Kurotsuchi. A ridiculously curious individual, blessed with abilities in abundance, thus making him one of the most dangerous creatures roaming about. The trouble is, Kurotsuchi himself has yet to fully acknowledge this fact, choosing to be more carefree. Besides, why should he worry when his older siblings are in charge? Be that as it may, the youngster deemed to be between twelve and fourteen years of age is on a mission. He developed a certain level of interest in what may transpire on the battlefield. While a capable fighter, Kurotsuchi was yet to be truly tested. In the few instances that he was ever called into action, it felt as if he always had back up. His father saw to it, which is why he has his own personal guards. A group of six warriors and in a manner of speaking, they're regarded as his six paths. These six individuals are all accomplished fighters. Their sole purpose was the safety of Kurotsuchi and to ensure his life does not end prematurely. The trouble is that the young prince often feels stifled by their presence. Another reason why his mischievous ways are so legendary.

Kurotsuchi learned how to become one of the best escape artists that there is. A truly cunning individual, always managing to escape the gaze of his would be protectors. Here he was now moving throughout the castle. His protectors were given strict instructions to watch over him. And to ensure that he doesn't find his way onto the field of battle. Abraxus knew that if he were to lose all of his children in these wars, it would put his legacy in jeopardy. There are also prophecies being spoken of among the Vanir. However, prophecies can be derailed and delayed in their fulfilment. Long white spiky mane like hair bounced as the youngster ran along. He'd managed to give his guardians the slip and was now preparing to leave. Kurotsuchi wears a blue scarf around his neck which he often allows to flow down his body. He also sports a pair of black gloves on his hands. These gloves are fingerless for the most part. The gloves are also protected by a light armour plate, quite reminiscent of the Anbu arm guards. The gloves stretches all the way up to his elbows and are quite comfortable. Kurotsuchi wears black baggy trousers, with the legs of his trousers tucked into his Shin high Shinobi black sandals which completely covers the section of his legs previously mentioned. Up top, he wears a blue kimono also, with the sleeves of his kimono looking ragged. They’re carefully designed and worn as to not hamper his movements. The man also wears a black and white sleeves Haori over his Kimono. A blue sash is carefully tied around his waist which keeps his garments in place. "Kurotsuchi my prince, is it actually a good idea trying to do this? What if your father finds out? Don't you remember what happened last time?". The raspy voice belong to that of a creature no more than two feet tall. It is distinguished by its askew mouth, a human-like nose, four small limbs, a tail, and a single large eye featuring a fully matured Sharingan. They're typically white in appearance but not limited to. This type of creature is known among the Vanir and are quite useful. The creatures are highly stealthy, capable of spying without being detected. This is akin to Zetsu capabilities when observing others. They can be controlled remotely and possess an array of different abilities. One of their main purpose being their mode of transportation.
Creature:
"Stop being so scared. Sides' we're only going there to spy on the happenings. Not looking to engage in battle, but even so I want to physically be there as opposed to hearing about it. As for father...well I suppose he won't know until its too late. At which point it will be too late, right?".

"Why do you always get me involved in these things? Our lord could easily terminate us because of this".

"Don't be so overly dramatic, just get me to Padmos or whatever its called before everyone starts to take notice of my absence". The two went back and forth with one another but there was only ever going to be one outcome. The little spy creature was merely there to serve Kurotsuchi. The Vanir are known for their innovation and while the Morris stones could help with creature portals and the like. The Vanir had found ways to navigate through space time. However, they needed a more efficient means for long distance travels. The little spy creatures at the moment allowed the Vanir to travel within a certain distance. They can extend the distances through interlinking with each other. It however takes more chakra from the creatures. Off they went, at first Kurotsuchi was absorbed by the little creature. They moved through different points, using multiple creatures in order to get them to their destination.

There was a distortion in space as a spiral formed and from it emerged Kurotsuchi and his two feet tall friend. They had finally touched down on the plains of Padmos. The young prince was knelt down before standing up and proceed to take in his surrounds. His sensory capabilities as sharp as ever. By their calculation they should be far away from the battle. But close enough to allow him to watch from a distance without alerting too many to his presence. "We're finally here now, that was quite the trip. I feel like I wanna through up". Kurotsuchi rolled his eyes at the thought before a smile formed. "Lets not get into all that. This place is so different and at the same time possesses certain similarities to other places. You know the deal, prepare for a quick exit just in case". His little minion already carries his mark, one designed to help with space time techniques. Kurotsuchi didn't arrive on Padmos empty handed, he has within his arsenal a multitude of techniques, weaponry and a diverse skill set. He really wanted to watch his older brother in action. It is something for him to get excited about, as his sibling is someone he looks up to. Before any of that can happen, Kurotsuchi sensed someone approaching his position. The young prince narrowed his eyes before finally activating his Byakugan. Kurotsuchi was one such Vanir capable of some truly remarkable things. His genetic make up while similar is also very different to his kinfolk. This was also one of the reasons why his father was so protective of him. Many assumed that his Dojutsu evolution simply stops at the Byakugan. Its a mistake many have made prior to this, and many based their foolish decision on his age. He was certainly still young and sometimes petulant. Kurotsuchi is still as intelligent and perceptive as they come. He is also deceptively strong which tends to surprise a few.

With his Byakugan activated he could now perceive the person approaching his position. "You know how I said we should prepare for a quick exit, we may need to do that sooner rather than later". The little creature was a mere two feet away from Kurotsuchi who stands at a respectable five feet and ten inches tall. Before the unknown individual could make it to their position, Kurotsuchi had a pair of marked Kunais drawn, a blade in each hand. This person was a threat and just how much will come to be known soon enough.

In the past 18 months, by earth time, Mithrandir had awakened numerous new and complicated abilities which neither he nor his guardians expected. Almonoth, his mentor and trainer, had watched the young boy’s progress since he was an infant. Although it was clear early on that Mithrandir possessed unusual physical prowess, this was not quite as alarming as the emergence of new and special abilities thought to belong to those outside of his house. You see, in the Aesirian kingdom there are twelve houses which makeup the race. Each house is the lineage of one of the twelve sons of Aldoron, thought to be the patriarch of the Aesir. Each of Aldoron’s sons received a portion, or manifestation of his power. Thus, all sons were like unto a “body” of sorts, all necessary operationally and yet entirely different from one another. The house of Avalon, Adloron’s first born son, was the house of royalty, quite naturally. Those of Avalon’s house and lineage naturally possessed a greater portion of midichlorians and therefore were thought to have greater physical stamina. In addition, they wielded Mokodon, the control and spontaneous creation of plant life known only to their world. This gave them a rather natural advantage in Aedin which is primarily of plants and plant life. In Aedin, there are more species of plants than there are in total organisms on other worlds. Some plants are so advanced that they possess an intelligence making them capable of communication, language, and decision. One who is unaccustomed to the mysteries of the ninth realm would almost call it magic.

That being said, other abilities were given to the other sons of Aldoron and their houses were thought to possess somewhat natural advantages as a result. However to have multiple of these keen house-markers in one individual was not only unusual, but thought to be nearly impossible. Sure, houses could intermarry and produce a child with characteristics of more than one house; though this union was looked down upon. However to possess keen abilities in several of these key areas was simply unheard of.

Zohar, the rainbow light radiation that poured forth from the star Enya, was another of the natural elements of Aedin, home of the Aesir. It was as natural to them as water is to Earth (though they have much water as well). Though all Aesir made use of this light to power their cells and enhance their physical abilities, only those of a certain house could masterfully wield and control light; the house of priests. Thus, when Mithrandir first exhibited signs that he could indeed fully access Zohar energy and even pour it forth from his own body, Almonoth decided to make his training and development a more private affair. Mithrandir would train with the sage privately on these unusual abilities that were mostly foreign to his house. At best, he would be thought to be the bastard son of two people who had a child outside of their house. At worst, thought to be an omen, a devil, or a messiah.

Given the current regime under a man known to be ruthless and particularly at odds with the royal house - it seemed wise to keep the young lad far away from attention of the higher ups.

That being said, Mithrandir at this time had only just begun to awaken the Galagan. A special eye that was uncommonly opened even among the priests, who’s bloodline accessed this special ability. The Galagan possessed numerous abilities, not the least of which was the ability to see and sense energy. Mithranidr was still learning to distinguish the different forms of energy that existed in the realms, and what he saw.

For the present moment, he had his Galagan activated, and with it came an incease in aura. Mithrandir stood 6’4 inches tall clad in blue crystal armor from the neck down. His face was young looking, though a square jaw and powerful build made it clear he was an experienced warrior.
Mithrandir floated across the creek towards his right corner where there was a 50 meter land area in between three small mountains. It was three mountains side by side and in front of them this earthen area, at the end of which was the stream that flowed forward throughout the rest of the valley.

As Mithrandir turned the corner and touched down on that parch of land, he came face to face with something he most definitely did not expect to see. A small boy, garbed in casual blue and black attire stood before him, 50 meters away, and beside him a strange creature with Vanirian Dojutsu.

Mithrandir stood still for a long moment. The first thing he was taught in school was to terraform the environment. House Avalon had the ability to always play “home games” against the enemy given their incredible ability to create plant life. He was vastly skilled in hand to hand combat and had a distinct strength advantage over all he’d fought in his life. However he hadn’t been trained for this; for complete surprises.

The first thing Mithrandir processed was that his Galagan was still quite untrained. It pained him to admit it, but this situation made it obvious. He thought all along he’d been tracking a substantial power source, and the energy seemed to be emanating from the young boy that stood across from him.
Something had to be wrong with his eyes. It was inconceivable that a mere child could have this volume of chakra. Mithrandir could recognize what that energy looked like, he’d been trained to. However there was another aura present in the boy; something other than Vanirian. He simply couldn’t believe his eyes, and thus went with the highest probability choice, as he was trained.

The small monster near the boy was surely the source of the substantial energy being emitted. It was a weapon the Vanir had that the Aesirian generals simply hadn’t calculated. Nevertheless, the creature would never see the battlefield as the young prince would decidedly end its existence here shortly. As for the child… well… Gazef mandated that every Vanirian be slaughtered with no survivors; not even the prince. Many generals disagreed with this as to capture the prince would mean substantial bargaining power; however another wisdom was at play in his mind during this silent pause. Could he kill a child?

Mithrandir himself was not yet 16 years of age himself, but was used to doing battle with men many centuries older. Nevertheless, he was to treat the child as a threat and perhaps capture him for bargaining. With all of these decisions being made up in his mind, the Aesirian prince would begin to put these plans into immediate action.

A mere moment after the Vanirian prince appeared, with his pet creature five meters to his right, a blue lazer beam 3 meters wide blasted off towards the creature 50 meters away. This canon of light came from none other than Mithrandir himself, in an attempt to immediately put the threat to an end. If the creature somehow dodged this, the 100 meter high mountain behind them would be shattered to pieces and create a small avalanche that would surely cover the land area they stood on, and spill into the stream. If the creature did not dodge, however, it would be vaporized in an instant, leaving not even cellular matter left over.

{Looking for page to post stats on the technique.}

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Kurotsuchi's mood had certainly shifted with the appearance of the stranger on the scene. Based on some quick observations, compared to Kurotsuchi the "man" turned out to be quite the physical specimen. He was bigger in stature to Kurotsuchi, and were perhaps far more dangerous. That remains to be seen at the moment. This was beyond his expectation, which was enough to make him curious. He sensed a great deal of power within his soon to be foe. His vile Aesir stench was offensive, even his whole energy. Just what kind of a person will he turn out to be? The Aesir and the Vanir have a long history and it was almost a kill on sight deal for each race. The Vanir however saw some benefit when it comes to fighting the Aesir. It gave them an opportunity to constantly evolve beyond their wildest dreams. Kurotsuchi were told the stories of a time long since passed. In some ways it was inevitable that they would come to face off against each other. Not these two specifically but simply from a Aesir and Vanir perspective. Safe to say Kurotsuchi felt uneasy about the whole deal. On the other hand he was alone, which also meant there would be no other Vanir causalities should he fall. One had to ponder just how his family would respond to such a tragedy. So many things to consider, however most of those will have to take the backseat. This creature now fifty meters away from the young man was truly something. He needed to deal with this person and relatively quickly. Either that or seek a swift escape. Kurotsuchi could not afford to alert his older sibling of his presence.

There we so many things that Kurotsuchi needed to consider. He was under strict instructions not to affect the environment in which he traversed too much. Despite his current stature, he carried something lethal. It was truly magnificent and quite the prize among his people. Another reason why his father wanted to keep him close. Unfortunately though, Kurotsuchi can be far too rebellious for his own good. Hence why he's currently in the situation that he is. His words to his little companion seemed to fall on deaf ears. The mention of a swift exit was no longer an option for the small creature. For he was blown to smithereens. The act itself stunned Kurotsuchi into silence. He felt the warm from the blue laser beam's after effects. The young man seemed unmoved but on the inside something began to stir. He didn't need to direct his head to where his little friend once stood. His ocular capabilities allowed him to see what had happened without having to shift his gaze. "To kill those who're hardly a threat is tantamount to evil. I recognize that this is merely a matter of perspective. You did what you think you needed to do. It should also be noted that regardless of your reasons, your act is seen as a sin. It is an affront to me and worse of all their creators. I am going to miss that little guy, now I'll have to find another one to keep me company. Such a pain in the ass. You deserve to be punished but nevertheless I will do you the courtesy of dialling things down a little". Kurotsuchi knew that his words might not reach the man but it did not matter. The pair of Kunais held in each other were sent flying off in different directions. One to his left, landing forty meters away. And the other to his right covering the same distance.

The young prince soon stepped forward, the aura around him changed drastically. Operating at a quarter of the dosage, doing things this way was kindness. There was something sinister about him. His chakra, demeanour and everything about him suggested as much. He began to take strides forward heading towards the threat before him. Whether or not this was bravery or pure stupidity remains to be seen. The boy stopped forty meters away from his target meanwhile forming a single hand seal. "Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation". He did not utter the name of the technique, he merely thought about it. And from that a fire release technique was born. Fire was expelled from his mouth, creating a wall of intense flames spanning seventy meters high and wide. The fire raced at speed with the sole purpose of incinerating his now foe. Meanwhile, Kurotsuchi remained vigilant, keeping a close eye on his opponent's movements. He was prepared to change his plans and means of attack should the man had made a move before he could. This was merely the start of it all and as one can imagine it will escalate further. The skies above them began to stir while the fire rampaged across the surface of the ground they stood on. Lightning Chakra crackled about his body as if the man was building up to something. What was the next move for either of them?

Kurotsuchi was hoping that the man could at least withstand this onslaught. Perhaps they could get up close and personal with each other when it comes to combat. He was well aware of the way the Aesir preferred to do battle. It was their way to control the battlefield and make it to their advantage. The senses of the youngster remained sharp, perpetually scanning for anomalies that may cause an issue. Following on from the release of the Great Fire Annihilation technique. The young prince with hair as white as snow pulled a bone from his palm that was no more than a foot long. It immediately grew to full length of six feet long in length. It now resembled a spear, perfectly balanced and imbued with his chakra. The spear was held in his right hand, his weight already shifted as he prepared to make another move. All the while paying attention to his opponent so that he may react.

Mithrandir maintained a cold, stoic disposition as the creature was vaporized and the young boy took a warrior’s stance towards the Aesirian Prince. It was a shame the two races were not exactly on speaking terms as he was rather fascinated that such a young boy had the poise and manner that he did. Mithrandir was not like many of his brothers who carried a superiority complex in the highest extreme towards other life forms. He saw the unique value in other species, and it made him desire to learn more about them. He had a natural enthusiasm about life and life forms in general that gave him a kind of humility that was unseen with many of his house. Nevertheless, being a warrior of the highest caliber, he never underestimates an opponent. The energy of the Vanirian changed somehow. It was odd and slightly unsettling. It was almost as if there was something or someone inside of him that was pulsating and feeding him energy. Mithrandir was aware of these concepts taught to him by the sages, and his eyes had been trained to make distinctions between not only types of energy but sources. With this one there seemed to at least be one other source of energy, but he could not ascertain from where it originated. Before he really had time to calculate, the young boy responded with spunk and pretense that revealed his age, as well as his confidence. Pressing two fingers together, he swiftly brought forth a wall of fire that went as high as the mountains themselves and raced towards Mithrandir at a faster pace than he could move on foot. Given the size of the valley, it was particularly difficult to evade save for if he went upward. What impressed him about this technique was not its magnitude persay, but the ease of the release. Jutsu were what Vanirians used to express their chakra. Typically the required various hand signs in order to sync ones energy together. This was particularly required of larger scale techniques. To see the young lad release such a powerful technique without the use of these seals meant that he’d mastered the technique.

Taking the boys words and manner as an implication he was certainly experienced in some form of combat, Mithrandir accepted the challenge. He was half tempted to flee this small discourse in order to go in search for the prince that he’d been sent after, but something told him that running into this young Vanirian was no accident. His instincts told him that there was something valuable about the boy that surface details didn’t portray. He figured his worst case scenario was to capture the young lad and use him as a bargaining chip should something go south in the battle.

A wall of fire sprang forth from the boy, quickly covering the 40 meters of space between them. Mithrandir calmly embraced the flames by flitting 10 meters diagonally through the wall of fire until, the flames behind him in an instant, and heading towards the mountains to devour the surface level rocks, and level off various amounts of debri into the stream.
The midichlorians regenerated the small burns so quickly that not a scratch was seen on the Aesirian. Thus he stood, with a small amount of steam and smoke coming off his body, but with no visible injuries.

“Those flames were hotter than I expected… That could seriously wound the average Aesirian soldier.” He thought to himself.

Techniques of that level, especially from such a base element as fire, were typically only used by high ranking Vanirian generals or warriors. Could this young boy possibly be the son of one of the generals? He was too young to be a warrior, he was too young to be the prince whom Mithrandir had seen before with his own eyes; and he’d shown up mysteriously in a place far off form the battlefield. Two conclusions came about: one, the boy was not supposed to be here. Two, he was someone of strong lineage.

Mithrandir estimated the lad’s age to be no more than 14, making him roughly 1-2 cycles younger than himself. He didn’t have enough intel to predict what would come of the situation. So, for the sake of his enjoyment of battle, and securing what was likely a high-profile hostage, he decided to play.

Mithrandir sped straight through the wall of fire, standing now 40 meters away from the young lad. The instant he’d gone through the fire, he let forth another blue laser beam straight towards the boy who held the bone spear imbued with chakra in his right hand. The skies above became clouded with signs of a storm coming along. The Field Masters of the Aesirian army were those warriors who were masterful at controlling the environment and ensuring the advantage in large scale battles was maintained by the Aesir. The Vanir had a similar guild, but they used the sky as their landscape. Mithrandir saw this as a sign that the battle abroad was growing more tumultuous.

He wondered if this squabble of his would turn into something equally as eventful… The next move on the chessboard would tell.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Any sane person would be interested in his opponent's reactions. The fire blazed across the surface of the ground, racing towards the desired target. Kurotsuchi was poised and ready to react and follow up at any moment. He was still curious about the man's defensive capabilities. Will he use another technique to counter or simply avoid it some other way? The possibilities were endless, it left the young prince rather intrigued by it. His eyes beheld something not entirely unexpected but still concerning. This foe was hardly concerned by the level of the technique used against him. So much so that he faced it head on, trusting in his own armour(body) and constitution. Kurotsuchi knew of the Aesir and their powerful life force. As such it was not beyond the realms of possibilities for this to happen. He was merely experiencing it first hand now. This was all valuable information to him now. Kurotsuchi was already at the ready as the man emerged through the flames. The bone spear/javelin in his right hand. As for the flames, the moved forward, burning up the pavement, destroying rock formations before finally coming to an halt. Meanwhile this was happening, Kurotsuchi had to deal with the man's own attack which came his way. He reacted with speed and grace, his left hand rose in the direction of the attack. And as the attack struck his hand, the blue laser beam was absorbed. This energy was unusual no doubt, it wasn't normal.

His eyes locked on to his target with steam and smoke coming from his body. Kurotsuchi took note of the man's swift recovery. "Their life force is truly magnificent. He didn't even flinch or hesitate to face it head on. What a guy". The young prince thought now more curious than ever. Meanwhile all of this was transpiring the skies above continued their rumblings. The thunder began to grow even more fierce. The lightning flashing across the skies was setting the tone. The skies and its displays started off in a small area but continued to spread. Kurotsuchi was at risk of alerting his brother to his presence. He had become careless but none of that mattered now. On the subject of abnormal energies, Kurotsuchi was definitely the anomaly among his people. A true oddity of nature and a downright freak. He soon exhaled with a smile so innocent a fair maiden's heart would flutter. A series of things transpired which is why the young prince was fearless. His opponent had yet to speak any words as of it. Kurotsuchi was more than happy to carry on the conversation. "Your energy has an acquired taste. One thing to note, it is quite rich. This is the first time I've interacted with anything like it. Care to share some more? I'm after all famished at the present moment". His words were delivered in a casual manner, either showing off his lack of care of naivety.

"When I were younger than I am now, my father used to create such a fuss. He had this need to keep a close eye on me at all times. Constantly trying to bash it into my head that I was important and all that mess. I never cared for it really, these adults are so overbearing at times its exhausting. On the other hand, my older siblings had a love hate thing going with me. Big bro often said I knew not what I possess and I should take more care. My sis found me creepy at times, I found it ironic considering her nature. The one thing they and everyone around me had in common. Was this desire to see where my limits are. I never understood why my father wanted to keep my abilities a secret. For some reason being able to devour whatever I want and make it my own was considered unique. It was baffling to me, like why couldn't they perform such a simple task themselves too? Enough of that now, I suppose I'm just babbling but you'll come to understand just what I mean". In the moment that Kurotsuchi absorbed his opponent's technique, he made it his own. Transforming its make up to suit him, thus carrying out a kind of purification. This also him to fully integrate foreign energies and the like into his being. And by doing so, he'll not only nullify its effects upon his body but all things related to him. He also learns about the effects of the substance used against him. It is the genius of his gifts that he takes for granted.

This is also why his Dojutsu like his other kinfolk doesn't exactly evolve the same. Where they have boundaries, his ocular prowess is the embodiment of all that the Otsutsuki has to offer. He is not quite there yet with discovering the full capabilities of his Dojutsu. During the time he began to speak, his Byakugan went from a mere Byakugan and evolved into the Rinne Sharingan. This was a sign that things were becoming more serious now. It would be foolish to assume that he suddenly lost the capabilities of the Byakugan. The spear held in his right hand was branded with his mark. Said spear was launched towards the mid section of his opponent with great ferocity. No doubt Kurotsuchi kept a close eye on the Aesir since the beginning. Always ready to change his plans according to his opponent's own actions.

Stoicism was an emotional discipline trained into Aesirian soldiers. They were not to show emotion despite being a very emotionally rich species. Given their affinity for light, and seeing, the Aesir had a natural tendency to defer to expressionlessness in war. Having a lot of emotion taught them early on to master it; to make it their own. Uncertainty triggers the mammalian brain in humans, causing them to cease rational thinking, the place of survival based thinking. Aesir were above such weaknesses.

Mithrandir reacted calmly externally to what seem to have been a display of power completely outside the perimeter of the Vanirian Bloodline. Mithrandir had fought and slain multiple elite Vanirian warriors; he’d never seen anyone absorb a light beam of that magnitude. What was more strange is that the energy was somehow destabilized and made into something the body could absorb. It was like the digestive system taking a foreign object and converting it into something the body could use. The ability was unusually similar to House Atreides of the Aesir. They were the alchemist, and possessed bloodline abilities that were the hallmark of Aesirian Science and agriculture. Their abilities were rare and greatly feared among other houses because they had the potentially exercise sovereignty over any and all elements. Mithrandir, unbeknownst to anyone else, had also inherited this KKG, but was still uneasy about using it. The abilities were considered forbidden, as though House Atreidies possessed weapons of mass destruction. Gazef kept the clan under high surveillance, seeing them as the chief threat to his regime.

To see a Vanirian boy who was not even yet of age perform such an ability on a technique of that magnitude left Mithrandir speechless. The ensuing speech, however, gave clarity on exactly where these strange heights of power originated.

While the boy spoke, his eyes changed color and form, revealing, at last, the true origin of his powers. Mithrandir knew well the dojutsu of the Vanir; though they had much less the same information on the Aesirian Dojutsu. The Vanir were known primarily for their ocular abilities and their science. Their eyes, given to them by the elemental goddess Izanagi, distinguished them from all other races. Izanagi, who was the guardian of the tree of knowledge, gave it to Nimrod to eat of it. Mithrandir knew this because of the fables the priests indoctrinated him in as a child. What he remembered most were here eyes. They were something sinister and yet had a mesmerizing and almost hypnotic beauty to them. Many Aesirians did not believe in the fables of the ancient Vanir and their special eyes; but there was a lingering reminder of said story that none could deny; Emperor Abraxus. He, and he alone, possessed those eyes, and though Mithrandir had never seen the emperor, he believed the stories about his god-like abilities and of the “Eyes of Izanagi” that were reportedly in his possession.

The time now was not to wonder in amazement, however, but to respond with action. Whether or not he understood, he was in the presence of an opponent who was capable of things beyond what Mithrandir could initially expect. The Aesirian prince was far too powerful to be afraid of anyone, but he knew after that unique maneuver that the boy was no ordinary child. The Vanirian was a prince; and he was an heir of the Emperor Abraxas. It could not be denied at this point or even estimated. Those eyes…. He’d only seen them in holograms of the ancient stories, but he could not forget them. They were only inherited by those of the most royal bloodline; Abraxas.

The Aesirian Chieftains were unaware that the Abraxas had a third child; Mithrandir had never even heard so much as an indication that such was the case. It made sense that the boy was kept under wraps given he was young; but clearly not vulnerable.

There was indeed something unusual about him as well. For Mithrandir had been on the battlefield with the older brother and sister. Their prowess was mighty; but to subdue a technique like that at almost point blank range; was a different category of power.
Fascinating, the way fate orchestrates events. Two young princes, both destined to inherit the untold riches of their heritage; both unaware of the unusual destiny that awaited them, and the boundless powers that were only now just awakening.

Mithrandir switched off whatever was inside him that made him see the boy as a young lad who was somewhere he shouldn’t be. Abraxas was a threat to the ecosystem of the nine realms, and was detestable to Mithrandir and nearly every Aesirian in all of Aedin. His children were hellish, arrogant and murderers of the weak and innocent. Though the boy was young, Mithrandir was shortly drained of any mercy or kindness he might’ve otherwise shown the boy.
You see even the pure hearted prince of light was not above the temptation of revenge. Six moons prior, in a small battle on Yemen, Mithrandir had lost a close friend of his in battle to the older brother of Kurotsuchi.
The Aesir were a race of immortals; a race of gods, many believed. And gods don’t die save for when they are overcome by devils. When an Aesirian perished, the midichlorians that comprised their bodies would teleport back to Aedin, the stardust material dissipate into the sky, and they would be gone. It was impossible to capture their DNA as it maintained a symbiotic union with Illuvatar, the Tree of Life; and that Tree sovereignly remained in Aedin. Midichlorians didn’t die, they separated. Once separated beyond their ability to self-maintain unity, they could not longer house the soul; and “death” would occur.

Legolas, the childhood best friend of Mithrandir, had been bested by Kurotsuchi’s elder brother after single handedly slaying a squadron of soldiers. By the time Mithrandir and reinforcements arrived, the prince had vanished and there was nothing remaining of his friend; his cells had departed along with his soul. Legolas was a boy not much older than Kurotsuchi; and the anger it roused in him to lose what felt like a younger brother had nearly driven him mad. Mitrhandir was told by his mentor to not let his anger get the best of him or else it could mean horrible consequences for those he hated; and loved.

He, more than anyone else, was taught to control his emotional state. Seeing those eyes, however, made him think of revenge on the first son of Abraxas. Mithrandir had been sent here to kill the prince himself. Yet now he saw something potentially greater than death to give to the prince; grief. Mithrandir did not know the relationship of Kuro and his siblings; but he knew that they had a protective love for him that all siblings have. To breave them of him would be a blow fitting for the devils who’d taken his brother from him.
Caught in between his better and worse self, Mithrandir continued into the present with greater but still controlled aggression. He hadn’t made up his mind to kill Kurotsuchi yet; but he would certainly not leave this battlefield anything but the victor.

As Kurotsuchi spoke, Mithrandir kept his energies balanced. He knew how to do this in such a way that his techniques could not be anticipated by ocular dojutsu somehow seeing him”mold” energy. He was entirely unsure of how the boy managed to absorb the Omega Beam; but it did not matter. Mithrandir had only released a drop of his true power thus far. He still did not see Kurotsuchi worth releasing his most severe and deadly techniques; nay, they were of such scale as to change the entire course of the war in an instant. Rather, he would keep things tame enough to where this squabble could be maintained inside the valley; but things were sure to get explosive. Given that he hadn't decided yet to outright kill a minor (though he was one technically), he would choose one of his favorite strategies; endurance.

Most Vanirians were fast; very fast. So Mithrandir always walked into battle with them with the awareness that he was at a disadvantage at close range; or so it seemed. At long range the Aesir were unmatched; anything under 100 meters however, and the Vanir were equally as lethal. Brute force was where Mithrandir would win against virtually any opponent. He decided to use it with controlled measure to keep the battle interesting. He wanted to see what other tricks the boy had up his sleeve.

During the arrogant, and child-like boast of the young boy, Mithrandir’s Mokodon Armor formed and took shape, covering him from head to toe. This would’ve happened during the time Kurotsuchi was absorbing the deathly beams from Mithrandir’s eyes; hence, it would not have changed anything in the sequencing of events. Though the Vanirian had indeed successfully absorbed the beams, he had not entirely stopped the technique. You see the radiation from the technique had affected his bone spear, taking away 50% of the chakra placed within the technique and transferring it to the Aesirian prince. Though this, among other things, would go unnoticed by the Vanirian prince as he was far too impressed with himself and his ability to do things that no mere mortal could do. Nonetheless, Mithrandir prepared himself for what was clearly a qualified opponent.

Despite the strong affinity for creating plant life, the Aesir, and most notably - House Avalon, was rather blown away by Mithrandir’s prowess in this area. Mithrandir possessed many weapons that were seen to be extraordinary by his army and those of his opponents. The most noteworthy up to this point was his ability to create and control plant-creatures that were more frightening than the average solider of any army. It was for this reason, above all else, that he was able to single handedly able to conquer Tier 9 worlds; and why he was feared by Vanirian generals. As the Aesir knew of the deadly visual prowess of Abraxas’s first son; the Vanir knew of the overwhelming raw power of the enigmatic prince of Avalon.

He would reveal something “awesome” to Kurotsuchi today, in honor of his showing his secret power so brazenly.

Kurotsuchi was faster than Mithrandir, particularly at such range; but his casuallness had given Mithrandir time to prepare. As Kurotsuchi grabbed his javelin to throw, the game began. In all four directions around Kurotsuchi emerged four leech Kings, five meters away, their bodies halfway up from the earth beneath as the javelin was released. Mithrandir could not spawn the creatures as fast as Kurotuschi could throw the javelin, but he could put them in the mix fast enough to make things interesting. The moment these leech kings emerged their four arms would reach and grab the young Vanirian at the ankles,he could spawn them fast enough to put the Vanirian in a pickle. Kurtsuchi stood ten meters way from the base of the three mountains behind him, and forty meters from Mithrandir. Four creatures spawned one meter away from him in all four directions, with only half of their bodies emerging by the time the javelin left his arm. Each of these creatures instantly would grab the Vanirian at the ankles, knees, waist, and both elbows. Mithrandir certainly could’ve gone for the instant kill and been far more aggressive; but he wanted to take his time to inflict some wrath and humility on the boy before his inevitable defeat.
You see, these creatures were none other than the Angelic Leech Kings; one of the most fearsome of Mithrandir’s many creations. They were spawned garbed in Mokodon armor which made them particularly useful as well as difficult to the opposition. Typically his leech kings would decimate armies by their sheer physical prowess mixed with their regenerative capabilities. However in this case, they would serve not only the purpose of overwhelming, but of subduing. Mithrandir was certain of one thing - this boy had surprises up his sleeve. None of which, however, were of the magnitude that would cause Mithrandir to flinch. You see, he was carrying secrets too.

A total of 20 leech kings were spawned simultaneously, as the technique permits. There were four in the immediate proximity of Kurotsuchi, with half of their bodies emerging by the time the javelin left his arm, and they would be grabbing him whilst that arm was extended in said throwing motion. Given that the leech kings stood, at full height, 4 meters high, halfway they were more than enough to overwhelm the boy physically and serve their purpose as a formidable barrier between him and Mithrandir. The javelin did not hit the Leech king in front of Kurotsuchi, but it would be intercepted by that of the leech king ten meters behind him. You see Mithrandir stationed ten of these Leech Kings in a row, two meters apart shoulder to shoulder, eleven meters in front of Kurotsuchi. Their bodies as well reached just a little more than half way upwards from the ground before they would make contact with the incoming dagger. The dagger would be intercepted by the middle leech king and immediately destabilized. Mind you, though the energy beam was neutralized, the radiation from it had already destabilized the chakra within the bone-spear, rendering it virtually useless.

The Leech King in the center caught the bone spike that was sent towards Mithrandir at the same time as the leech kings near Kurotsuchi would be making contact with his body unless he otherwise evaded. The bone spike was immediately intercepted by the center leech king, four others to his right, and five to his left respectively. Upon interception, the Leech King used his body to envelop the bone spike. In a sense, he “swallowed” the spike with abdomen area, perfectly enveloping it so that any “explosive” qualities would be instantly subdued. Naturally, Mithrandir wasn’t expecting any tricks with the spear being that he’d drained it of chakra; but you could never know with such a one as this Vanirian. The bone spear did not penetrate the leech king but was rather swallowed by its abdomen turning into a flurry of green tentacles and wrapping themselves around it before anything else could be triggered. The tentacles would’ve grabbed and subdued said spear
We’ve discussed this far the location of four of the leech kings; what of the other six? Mithrandir used this millisecond squabble to move himself to a 45 degree angle (to the right) of Kurotsuchi, now standing 75 meters away; he spawned three where he previously stood, and took three with him in his new location. Three leech kings, that at full height would be four meters tall, stood five meters in front of Mithrandir facing his opponent. The Leech Kings looked as follows; They were tall and muscular from head to toe with dark green bodies. Their heads were the heads of Rafflesia plants. Each of them possessed eight arms, and at full height, four wings that were like that of eagles wings. Their feet were webbed and spread amongst ten toes per foot, enabling remarkably nimble movement. Their skin was covered in Mokodon armor on the inside and out, which enabled the certainty that, due to the durability of the armor, the leech king’s body would be sufficient do nullify the power of the bone spike. The mokodon armor was dark, like that of bark (expected, and covered them from head to toe, inside and out, with this rough coating.

Mithrandir had mastered the technique at such a level that he was able to synchronize his senses with the leeches, enhancing his field of vision. His ocular vision was not fully developed, and it was safe to say that his dojutsu prowess was sub par to that of the young Vanirian; but he had made use of its most important perk of synchronizing with other created life forms. The leech kings screeched with a sound that would awake the devil. Should any surprises take place in the time between Kurotsuchi releasing the javelin and the center leech absorbing it, hell would surely break loose, and very near the Vanirian as the leech kings, and all 32 of their collective arms were indeed reaching towards the young lad with greater strength and ferocity than he’d herby experienced or been touched by. Their arms were capable of extension, flexibility and could make use of tree weaponry (spikes, roots, branches etc. ) which Mithrandir would and could make us of in less than a moment's notice. For the time being, he would keep things physical and simple. The young lad seemed to possess some strange ability to absorb energy. The easiest thing to do, until he understood precisely how these abilities worked, was to change the theme of the game to a contest of speed and strength.

Mithrandir hoped to see a magical vanishing, teleportation, or even a susanoo. Mithrandir had witnessed such things in powerful Vanir, and though he did not understand how - he had to expect this young lad was capable of such feats.
All leech kings stood on guard and were ready for combat, and most importantly, the unexpected. Mithrandir awaited behind his three titans, ready to give the command to ensue a beatdown that was sure to come. The Aeserian prince himself was coated in Mokodon armor, thought it took a rather different appearance than that of his leech kings. He, in warrior stance, energy loaded, was ready to move through the hands of the Leech Kings.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

The battle was well underway now and a multitude of actions took place as expected. It was note worthy that the Aesirian was ever so cautious. So much so that he elected to protect himself from the Vanirian prince. The formation of the mokodon armour was proof of that. A peculiar thing to do considering Kurotsuchi had yet to truly show anything to make his opponent think twice. Be that as it may, treading on the side of caution was to be expected, Kurotsuchi saw this as the smart thing to do. His body was in motion while taking in his surroundings and all that was happening. As previously stated he never stopped monitoring his opponents movements. This made it possible for him to react in time, even at the last possible moment. Having seen the formation of the armour, it meant his opponent was cautious and more serious. Kurotsuchi did the same too, he became carelessly serious. His chakra that was at a quarter of its potency returned to full potency. Its toxicity may end up causing some damage to the environment no doubt. He however took note of a few things. Having absorbed the man's energy, Kurotshchi understood what it was all about. He too could use its unique capabilities to his advantage for sure. In addition to all this, the sapping of chakra from his Javelin did not go unnoticed. Surprising that the radiation could affect his technique still. It was food for thought while trying to stay alive when facing the Aesir. His opponent had yet to utter a word, appearing to be an emotionless fiend. No fun, no fun whatsoever with this one. Kurotsuchi's dojutsu may have increased in capabilities, but the best part was retaining previous abilities. The evolution did not cause a change over. That is where the young prince was fortunate and at times the envy of his people. There wasn't many like him at all.

Before the bone javelin could be released his opponent made his move. It felt as if the man wanted to coincide his attack with Kurotsuchi's oncoming actions. It was clever but the man perhaps made his move a little too soon. The creatures were already in play just before Kurotsuchi threw his javelin. This made the young prince fully aware of their presence. He may not have seen the man molding chakra or his Aesirian energy. However, it was impossible to hide creatures being spawned in such a manner from his eyes. He never waivered in keeping tabs on the man and his surroundings. With the bone javelin in the process of being released, his opponent also made his movement. His eyes did not deceive him and while they emerged at speeds. Kurotsuchi was surprised not to have seen the chakra changing shape. But his eyes wasn't the only thing he used to sense(see). The young prince knew he had to do something now because his opponent was already on the move. The Aesirian warrior change his position rather quickly, showing that he was willing to stand back and let his creatures do the handy work. This meant that Kurotsuchi will have to put his own tactical nous to good use. It appeared that his opponent didn't want to waste time and as such Kurotsuchi saw no reason to do so either. A millisecond before the closet creatures could even seize him fully into their grasp. The young prince vanished instantaneously at such speeds that it was near impossible to track him. The technique that he utilized this time round was trap proof if you will.

As stated before, his chakra was back to full strength in its unregulated state. His opponents were many but he was a single warrior so far. Be that as it may Kurotsuchi knew he had to get serious now. The young prince reappeared where his marked kunai was forty meters away. This was the position where he placed his Kunai when he sent two flying in opposite directions. His Kunai was there, however the man swapped positions with it, bringing the Kunai to where he once was. As such the creatures emerging would end up subduing his Kunai instead. His opponent Mithrandir currently located on the opposite end of him. This means Kurotsuchi had the man in his sight directly across from him albeit farther away. All of these occurred instantaneously. After reappearing he immediately followed up forming a series of hand seals at speed. Tiger → Dog → Snake, Horse, Hare. The sequence was so swift, it gave him plenty of time to react to his opponent. He now had a slight taste of how this man prefers to attack. It was all about the element of surprise for him. The laser beams, plant creatures and manner of attack.

All of this was designed to catch an opponent off guard. It was clever and amusing all at once. Kurotsuchi also understood that this man viewed him as a threat. This is exactly why his opponent donned his armour and likewise armed his creatures with it. Attention was back on Kurotsuchi since from his actions emerged five wood clones, donning bone armour that are apart of Kurotsuchi's repertoire. They emerged in front of the young prince, well within touching distance. His hands immediately outstretched and swiftly branding each with his mark also. They all took off towards the skies above which was rather strange. One would think they were there for back up. They flew off five hundred meters above and upon reaching their position up above. They all took on a defensive position above with the sole intention of being able to keep an eye on the happenings downs below. This took but a mere moment before they seem to froze, there was complete stillness. Meanwhile Kurotsuchi down below was more than ready to deal with whatever craziness his opponent would come up with. The pair of battle axe in his hands was proof of this. These weapons were summoned during the time of his clones taking to the skies. The heavens above raged, thunder roaring throughout and lightning flashing. The wood clones had a specific job and that was to gather nature's chakra.

It was almost as if he wanted to wait a little while longer just to confirm a few things. The pair of battle axes had appeared out of nowhere or so it seemed. They're known as Ametsuchi Ono.

The Ametsuchi Ono twin axes both have a eighteen inches long shaft that acts as the handle of the axes.

Water Axe: The water axe is known as Kairyuu▬Ocean’s Current. The eighteen inches long shaft/handle is blue(mainly) and white in colour. The heel or toe of the tomahawk shaped axe is white in colour with blue scales. This covers three inches of the shaft, from the heel upwards. The scales closely resemble fish scales which keeps to the theme of the weapon. Looking at the shaft of the weapon, it is likened to life beneath the ocean. The blue of the grip looks like waves constantly crashing down akin to stormy seas. The grip portion of the weapon is seven inches in length, with finger indentations. Moving up to the axe’s belly/haft are designs of a great white shark swimming under water. This is on the right side and on the left side of the haft is the design of a carp with blue and white scales. The haft of the axe is five inches based on where the designs begin and ends. The neck guard of the axe again is the same as the heel of the weapon.

It has blue and white scales and is three inches in length. This makes up the eighteen inches long shaft. The shaft is also straight with the heel of the weapon slightly curved facing the outward direction of the blade. The axe’s blade is ten inches wide/long from top to bottom. The blade’s edge/bevel is extremely sharp and is of a crescent moon shape. The bevel is blue like the oceans, the cheeks have fish scale like patterns on either side. The scales are blue and white in colour. The axe’s head has the same design as the weapon’s shaft. A shark and carp are represented on the left and right respectively. The axe has no wedge but has a blunt end that acts as the back of the axe. Its shaped like a shark’s tail and is six inches long from top to bottom and reaches five inches in length.

Lightning/Thunder Axe: The thunder axe is known as Kiryuu▬Thunder Current. The eighteen inches long shaft/handle is dark grey like storm clouds. The heel or toe of the tomahawk shaped axe is dark grey, and on either side of the heel are green tomoe shaped designs. This covers three inches of the shaft, from the heel upwards. The tomoes are representation of the thunder god. The dark grey of the grip looks like storm clouds gathering in the sky. There are also streaks of blue lightning mixed in with the storm clouds. The grip portion of the weapon is seven inches in length, with finger indentations. Moving up to the axe’s belly/haft are designs of a green and yellow dragon. This is on the right side and on the left side of the haft is the design of the thunder god with his war drums. The haft of the axe is five inches based on where the designs begin and ends. The neck guard of the axe again is the same as the heel of the weapon.

It has the same green tomoe shaped designs and is three inches in length. The bevel is dark grey like the stormy skies and has yellow streaks of lightning running along it. The cheeks have storm clouds on either side. The clouds look to be lit up by a light show of lightning. The axe’s head has the same design as the weapon’s shaft. The dragon and god of thunder is represented on the left and right respectively. The axe has no wedge but has a blunt end that acts as the back of the axe. Its shaped like a war drum and is six inches long from top to bottom and reaches five inches in length.

The pair have long since been branded with his unique seal or mark if you will.

“As stated before, his chakra was back to full strength in its unregulated state. The laser beams, plant creatures and manner of attack.”

Unsurprisingly Kurotsuchi escaped being grappled by the Leech Kings. Vanirians were known for their unusual speed and chakra control; Kurotsuchi embodied that talent to the extreme. Still not fully aware of all abilities he possessed, nor that he wielded as a result of his dojutsu, Mithrandir was content to give the boy room to educate him on just what the most gifted and talented Vanirians were truly capable of. The Aesir were a race of beings blessed with extraordinary gifts that simply could not be replicated. The Vanir were the moon and the Aesir the sun; both the same and yet entirely opposite. He, therefore, had an appreciation for the uniqueness of fighting what nature had deemed as his natural enemy. Nevertheless, it was a battle, and it was one that was getting rather intense. There had yet to be a technique released by either of the two warriors that was not enough to kill the average man, or ten.

The radiant prince of the Aesir looked upon in amazement at the wicked speed of the youngster that was his sworn enemy. It was rare that any warrior in battle impressed Mithrandir; yet in less than five minutes he’d seen a deftness to the boy that far exceeded most captains. Still impressed and rather amused at the boy, he proceeded to play along, if you will.

As stated before, Mithrandir stood 75 meters away at a 45 degree angle from where Kurotsuchi was (before vanishing). He left three Leeches where he previously stood, and three directly in front of his current location. There were four that had surrounded Kurotsuchi right after he’d thrown the javelin, Mithrandir stationed ten of these Leech Kings in a row, two meters apart shoulder to shoulder, eleven meters in front of Kurotsuchi. It is important to note this because there are tactical implications to the Leech Kings that few, not even the clever Kurotsuchi, would perceive at first contact.

Now Kurotsuchi had supposedly placed kunai amid the battlefield without Mithrandir seeing. He’d seen him carrying two Kunai upon first arrival; but certainly never had he seen them thrown and placed across the battlefield. Nevertheless, he would endure this craftiness in order to see a greater display that might even result in a challenge. You see the summoning of leech kings usually meant the battle had an expiration point that would be soon arriving. Mithrandir was curious as to how long the young prince could survive, or at the very minimum keep himself from being wasted.

The boy vanished faster than the blink of an eye, yet far from being beyond vision and perception. He reappeared in the most peculiar of places. Kurotsuchi landed 30 meters in front of Mithrandir, and ten in front of the ten leeches that had been spawned earlier. Now these leeches, controlled by the mind of Mithrandir, sprung into action as if they had placed a tracking device on his chakra. Chakra and Au were two entirely different forms of energy used by the different races; but Mithrandir had trained his Leeches to hunt for energy itself, and they were particularly attracted to those with a great amount of it.

Something interesting happened next. Kurotsuchi swiftly created five clones that soared upwards. Given that Kuro carelessly spawned forty meters from his previous position, but only 20 meters (at a 45 degree angle) away from the ten leech kings Mithrandir had placed previously. Though he spawned close enough to insta-kill, Mithrandir let him finish his maneuvers.
There was something about the lad that made him curious, almost drawn to him. The five clones emerged and sped upwards to the sky five hundred meters. Upon reaching the clouds two things would occur. Firstly, the storms above would be stayed by the emergence of 100 clouds spread across the expanse, smothering any storming and lightning that had previously been dominant. The five clones would reach the bottom of the clouds, about 500 meters below them, and pause ominously. Mithrandir noticed that a strange change in their energy began to take place, albeit slowly. Once more, he was fascinated and curious.

Shortly after the clones took their odd position in the sky, Kurotsuchi revealed two battle axes that changed the atmosphere of the fight. In his right hand he wielded a battle ax that was shark-like in nature. It was shaped like a shark’s tail, bent and curved like the moon, and yet it possessed the ends of an axe. It was fearsome in appearance, and was certainly made from very old chakra. In his left was a blade of more obvious menacing intent; a lightning saber. Blades and hand held weapons were far more common amongst the Vanir than the Aesir; the Aesir could use their bodies as weapons after all. Thus Mithrandir was used to gazing upon blades and kunai and such and estimating their power accordingly. Rarely did he come face to face with a blade that he believed could actually wound him; today he looked upon these blades and knew that their piercing power was not something to be underestimated. Furthermore, the Vanir had become increasingly efficient at killing the Aesir, dishing out uniquely tailored wounds that even the midichlorian regenerative abilities could not adequately cope with. It would appear that the Vanirian prince really did mean to kill Mithrandir. The Aesirian would respond accordingly to this new threat.

“Do you really think you can kill me?” He said to Kurotsuchi, in an excited tone. His voice now carried the weight of several voices

Mithrandir’s voice was deep and rich; yet the fearsome, child-like anticipation could be heard in it. He loved battle, and today he might finally get the chance to test out some abilities that he’d been privately developing.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

“Do you really think you can kill me?”. Asked the Aesir with sheer excitement and confidence in his tone.

A truly thought provoking question was aimed at Kurotsuchi by this stranger. How strange, here he was before this being. A natural enemy of his, day and night, light and shadow. Whatever the case the man's words stirred Kurotsuchi into action. Since less than a second after his words were spoken to the young prince. The Vanirian prince vanished from his position and instantly reappeared where his clone are located. He was staring down on the battlefield at his opponents. Kurotsuchi realized that he was now being forced into doing something that he'd been trying to avoid. Upon his reappearance, each clone had now completed their mission. Even if he dispersed them it did not matter. Since whatever the case, if they were to be dispersed then he would benefit in ways his opponent perhaps wasn't expecting. Following on from this, the moment Kurotsuchi found himself positioned in the skies above. His body underwent a few changes. It was perhaps a secret to some but for Kurotsuchi and his people, it was a known fact that he is also a Jinchuriki. More importantly the ten tails Jinchuriki. It was amazing to have such an ally, however, due his immaturity when it comes to his abilities. He has yet to fully master its abilities. As a result, its more like a watered down version of six paths mode.

The ten tails Jinchuriki naturally has a connection with nature. Kurotsuchi's own energy and abilities are in fact designed to be in constant harmony with nature. However, the potency of his chakra causes some rather destructive phenomena. Hence why he needs to keep his Chakra in check. Unfortunately he wasn't now able to continue doing so. The time to be cautious has passed. It was time for this battle to get a little more heated. While capable of entering sage mode at will, he has yet to reach the level of six paths sage mode. A higher form than the one he is currently contending with. This is why his clones are relevant in supplying him with chakra. Since should he naturally absorb too much of nature's chakra while in sage mode, he may well lose himself in the madness. It was more of a curse than anything to him. Kurotsuchi came up with a way to supply himself and not go completely mad.

His chakra now riled up torn the top half of his garments to shreds. His torso was now naked, leaving his chest bare. That was only for a brief moment though. Also note worthy was the fact that his clones were keeping an eye on the happenings around them. Above themselves in the skies, down below and various different angles. This was to stave off surprise attacks. What his opponent will now see is a new form. The young prince' body had gone from five foot ten inches tall to six feet two in height. Compared to the handsome young man from before, this form seemed more grotesque. His skin darkened as fluids were secreted from it  that then thickened and hardened. This gives the appearance of a dark crystalline substance which covers the user’s body. This was a result of his bone armour working in unity with his sage transformation. A single horn now at the centre of his forehead extending nine inches in length upwards, resembling that of an oni. Dark blue lips, pointed ears, longer and sharper black nails. In this form the user gains a pair of webbed-claw-shaped wings. These are the same as seen with the heaven’s curse seal. Atop of or what would be considered the back of the hand/wings were thin bones, giving the appearance of a skeletal hand. There were also other small bones dotted along the webbed-claw shaped wings.

Kurotsuchi gained four further appendages which stems from his lower back. These are often mistaken to be tails but perform a much deadlier function. Each appendage is unique onto themselves, capable of extending great distances(up to 30 meters) at the user’s speed. They’re quite flexible and malleable. Allowing the user to use them as additional limbs without restrictions. Their strength at all times were the user's current strength. At present the length of these appendages were three and a half meters. One appendage has a spear like tip at the end of it. Capable of piercing through a target leaving large gaping holes. Another appendage has what resembles a crab’s claw at its end. Capable of seizing its target and cutting through them. The tips of these appendages can grow larger or smaller depending on the situation at hand. Small enough to pick up a person or large enough to grip, slice through or uproot a fully-grown tree. Another of the four appendages has what resembles a hand with 3 large fingers on it. Each finger has sharp nails, and functions like a hand would. The user can grab hold of things, pierce things using the sharp nails. The last of the four has thorn/bone like protrusions running along its entirety. The tip of said appendage closely resembles a pair of centipede’s pincers. These appendages were designed to work as an extension of the user's body. This whole transformation was swift. Everything occurring mere moments after he reappeared among his clones.

He was faster, stronger and more durable now. His whole transformation was also designed to be used in tandem with his bone pulse among other things. As such one can and should expect bones to emerge from pretty much anywhere on his body. His sage chakra empowering not only his body but also his current weapons held in his hands. His chakra remained the same in terms of its potency and the danger that it carried for others. Kurotsuchi flew off in a dive towards the battlefield. His approach was done from a diagonal position. All the while paying attention to his opponent and his movements. He has a tendency and trying to slip away. The young prince had his Kiryuu axe pointed forward towards all twenty-one opponents down below. Lightning release chakra rained down on the areas as soon as Kurotsuchi reached within two hundred meters of his opponents. Reaching such a distance did not take long considering the speed at which he was now able to move. "Banrai no jutsu: Heavy Thunder". The technique conquered a four hundred meter wide area. The technique has a wide area of effect, aiming to wipe out everything caught in its path. The leech kings and their creator of course the main targets. The environment itself was nothing but collateral. His attack was one such that simply moving about wouldn't be enough to stave off the attack. Kurotsuchi in the mean time came to a stop about one hundred meters above ground. Now in a standing position carefully anticipating his opponent. The devastation down below is something his opponent will have to react to.

Heavy is the head that wears the crown.

Mithrandir thought back to his simpler days in the fields of Lothlorien, his hometown. A place where the wild Hogoth’s grazed the lush green fields, and winged creatures of all kinds flew through the rainbow colored sky. The waters were filled with stardust material that could satisfy thirst for months. Aedin truly was a paradise that was the envy of all worlds in terms of its life-supporting infrastructure. The Aesir lived in a harmony and piece that few species had ever known.

Ever since Gazef had taken the throne, that had all changed. War was a regular part of the regime the Aesir were now under. Taking over worlds they had once partnered with like cousins. The overtaking of Kaldron was the very worst campaign of Mithrandir’s life. He often wondered if his destiny was to simply be a great tool in the hands of a tyrant who wanted nothing less than ever knee in the nine realms to bow.

Back to present events.

The boy, Kurotsuchi, was not only an escape artist, but one with a plan. Mithrandir had already calculated all possible uses for the clones; most notably, them being used as transportation portals. He could tell that whatever technique it was, it was a crutch that the young lad often used in battle. If he was sloppy, he would get predictable with it.

Nevertheless, what happened next in many ways could not be predicted. Nature energy, or so the Vanir called it, was a way of harnessing something that to the Aesir was as natural and essential as oxygen itself. Though Ea and this “Sage Energy” the Vanir knew of were far from the same thing, they were extremely similar. Mithrandir had seen it used, again, by high ranking officers in the Vanirian army. Yet again he was rather astonished to find that such a young boy possessed so many rare and mature techniques. No doubt he had access to the finest training, but by sheer talent was he able to wield and use them so masterfully. It was uncanny how evenly matched both of these prodigies seemed to be. Both wielded the full range of abilities known to their respective races, making their fight a symbolic representation of the struggle between the Aesir and the Vanir; the Tree of Life and the Tree of Knowledge; Yin and Yang.

Little did they both know their destinies were intertwined and inseparable.

Mithrandir gazed up as the boy took the place of one of his clones up above. As expected, there was a dramatic shift in his energy as the Sage Mode was activated. The Midi chlorians began to vibrate  and prepare his body for battle as another more sinister, more primal energy also began to emerge. This energy was noticeably different. It was chakra, but of a different kind than Mithrandir had seen before. Its potency was far greater than anything he’d seen. It was as though a pipe inside of Kurotsuchi had been burst and now energy was spewing out uncontrollably. This new chakra began to mix in with his sage mode to create a transformation that changed the atmosphere of the battle field permanently. Kurotsuchi, in a matter of seconds, appeared to be something other than what he was previously; something more.

Physically, Kuro’s stature changed dramatically and that changed the tone of the fight. The creature that he became was far more fierce, sinister, and most important of all - battle-ready.

Shrouded in bone pulse protection among other things, it was clear that the Vanirian prince was ready to go all out and make his last stand of sorts. If this battle was anything, it was a learning experience for the Aesirian who, though well educated, was taken back somewhat at the extent to which the power of the Vanir had been developed. Mithrandir had never seen power like this from a Vanirian; not ever.
Part of him wondered if the young lad surpassed even his brother, who had gained fame even among the Aesirian army for his cruelty.

When the sage mode had completed and Kurotsuchi’s appearance began to change form, Mithrandir had a decision to make. This battle could no longer be contained to a mere bout of strangers. They were on two sides of a war now, and though this was likely to spill over into the main battle a few hundred meters south, Mithrandir was ready to match the challenge. The Galagan could very ascertain the  precise growth in physical stamina that took place as a result of the Sage Mode being activated. It was extremely odd to him, however, that the bone pulse technique seemed to require so little chakra and yet somehow doubled the endurance of the active bone pulse techniques; but he would inquire about this at some other time.

Absorbing the energy from the armor, his leeches, the midi-chlorian clouds, and his own cellular regenerative processes, Mithrandir was more up for the fight with each passing moment. That was the difficulty fighting him that so few opponents ever figured out. It wasn’t his sheer power and force that made him so strong; but his ability to outlast. Mithrandir is so difficult to touch let alone kill. And all the while opponents are figuring out a way to blast through his defenses and his armies, he is secretly gathering and hoarding energy which makes him that much more powerful and capable of both offense and defense at any given moment. It would appear that Kurotsuchi was not only an escape artist but indeed had some fire power; the question remained if he would be able to actually land a blow or do something worth making the Aesirian sweat. As of now, he was still a step behind.

Mithrandir moved quickly, as one must when it is obvious and apparent that someone is preparing a major attack against you that could wipe out the entire area. Battles like this were chess but at high speeds. Each action prompted an almost immediate reaction that was predetermined before the first action even took place. Any hesitation or miscalculation or even surprise - could and usually did mean certain death. There was so little margin for error when fighting an enemy as swift and deft as Kurotushci.

Mithrandir had preordained that should the Vanirian take to the skies he would summon a forest to make descension of any kind nearly impossible. He’d changed that plan in less than a millisecond to something a bit more offensive, acting more honestly on instinct and the desire for close range combat. He couldn’t help but be curious as to just how strong and durable Kurotsuchi was (or thought he was) in this state.

Kurotsuchi vanished and replaced his clones, and the reaction was that the Aesirian caused all of his Leech Kings to merge into a single vessel. He’d been forced to practice a great deal on controlling his armies and their physical properties. It was as if their bodies were an extension of his. While still rather sloppy with controlling the Zohar element, he was masterful with his plants. The Leech Kings almost instantaneously merged into a single being that now stood ten meters in front of Mithrandir, Kurotsuchi 500 meters above them undergoing his own metamorphosis.

The creature that emerged from the leeches stood at 15 feet in height and was noticeably larger and more menacing than the slightly smaller leeches. Would was not as obvious was the dramatic change in physical capabilities that no dojutsu save for the Galagan could perceive. Kurotsuchi would soon find out first hand how futile his attempts to over power such a one as Mithrandir truly was.

While his leeches formed into a humanoid looking perfect plant being, Mithrandir himself took things to another level. Thankfully, his transformation did not require a loss in focus or time. Mithrandir’s cells expanded greatly, causing his outer physical body to become noticeably more powerful. Muscles appeared from every inch of his body until he was twice the size he appeared to be previously. He normally stood at 6’8 but now was a flat 8 feet in height. The girth of his arms was twice what it had been and his legs three times. Needless to say it was akin to a saiyan powering up to super saiyan, albeit Mithrandir’s hair remained as golden as ever. An aura of golden light surrounded him as he sparkled in the midst of the mountains. Fortunately, he finished this just as the blow was sent out from Kurotsuchi towards the ground below; and it didn’t take special eyes to know that what was coming was enough to eviscerate those who were not of exceptional endurance.

He was.

Mithrandir looked up for a moment to see the blur of Kurotsuchi moving down a hundred meters in literally the blink of an eye. After said blink - it was over.

All around Mitharndir and 150 meters in front of him, rained down blue lightning streaks. The speed was a bit faster than even he anticipated, making it so that the explosion took place right as Kurotsuchi stopped at 100 meters. The entire area below, along with at least fifteen mountains, was eviscerated. The mountains were a dark color to begin with; after the blast, they were as dark as coal. The loudness of the explosion would surely be heard even from the battlefield. It was no doubt that someone would likely be on their way given the magnitude of the explosion. Not only was the 200 meters worth of area vaporized, but everything for at least 500 meters surrounding them. The shockwaves would literally shake the battlefield from whence Mithrandir first came.

It appeared that the brat didn’t fear being found out by the generals who’s lives would surely be in danger if they were found to have brought the King’s youngest son along to a battle such as this. Little did the Aesir know that the boy was less of a captive target and more of a tier 3 threat. Mithrandir’s physical stature and power allowed him to survive the blast with relative ease. Had he not powered up appropriately, however, he most certainly would be split into more than a few pieces.

After the explosion, there was nothing but Mithrandir and his leech gods left in a crater that was 500 meters in width; with another 500 hundred meters of surrounding area completely decimated. The lightning was so potent that everything it touched seemed to completely fizzle out. Only Mithrandir and his Leech Gods survived. Mithrandir and the said leeches slowly arose, his eyes dead on Kurotsuchi the entire time. After about 40 meters up, they were beyond the smoke of the explosion, and were well within sight of the Vanirian prince.

It seemed the theatrics were over; the real fight was about to begin. Mithrandir kept a pace of ten meters behind the leech god, which rose directly proportional to Mithrandir to face Kurotsuchi head on. Mithrandir wanted to continue to communicate that he was still not yet pushed to the point of needing to actually fight himself. The leech god would engage the vanirian prince head on first.

Mithrandir spoke through the leech gods who now faced Kurotsuchi at a 45 degree angle. There was Mithrandir, and the two leech gods ten meters ahead of him, five meters apart from each other. The left leech was the green and yellow, the right leech was black and pink. Their faces that of a rafleisha flower, eight arms, four wings, and one tail. Their bodies were grotesquely strong and powerful.

“You will need all of your might to kill me, son of Abraxas.”

The voice sounded as though five people spoke at once, like the sound of an Avatar in its Avatar state. Mithrandir not only spoke to the boy, but to that secret power which he had inside. It was likely few knew that the boy was the host of demonic forces that were the most diabolical weapons in possession of the Vanir. Mithrandir knew that he, and he alone could draw out such power. The question; was he prepared for what would happen when it was released.

And so, the fight went on.
