"Brother... Big Brother, where are you?... Big brother? This isn't funny anymore! I'm scared!... "

"Boo!"

"Don't do that, big brother! That's not nice!"

"Hey, look at me... As long as I'm around you'll never have to be scared of anything ever again... Why? Because that's what big brother's are for!"

"But, you're the one scaring me!"

"Well, someone has to make sure you know who is the boss!

"That is not funny big brother!"

"Okay okay okay... I do it because I care, I may not always be around and that's when you have to be the most fearless and know that I'll always be with you in here... "

"Huh? What do you mean, big brother?"

"He he he... Don't worry, you'll understand later on in life... Right now you've got me, right? Come on, let's make our way home. I'll even let you ride on my shoulders!"

Memories no longer held meaning within the reserves of her mind, faces had become nothing but blurs, but preserved in time the dialogue remained recorded upon the loose leaf pages of a young girls private journal. From page to page both the font and language differed, yet the message stayed the same and from those words a young girl drew strength for the better part of nineteen years. Setōshi knew not of who his words had sparked inspiration within, or rather, he chose to forget because of lies on top of lies that had been fed to him. Previously understood, the circumstances of his birth had produced a soul who had endured the rigors of three lifetimes and each had been implanted within his psyche to systematically create the man that walks a path all his own now a days. The underlining truth was that portions of each of those lifetimes experienced had been founded on the basis of a simple truth, one that Setōshi was not yet ready to accept, thus a true understanding could not be gathered from his perspective.

Carpathia's deserts held dark secrets, a testament to such a statement was the discovery of a clone program in Roran, but its secrets held nothing on that of those within the Land of Water on the isle of The Holy Empire of Abraxus. Crunch crunch... Crunch crunch... Crunch crunch... — The bottom of boots met snow as the weight of a young girl caused her steps to become audible as she trekked through the Island's snowy edges. Her caramel complexion in complete contrast to the colorless tone of the snow around her, coordination of a light pink color could be seen  in the bamgs flowing down the lengths of her face and in the choice of skirt she dawned, a dark green bow lay tied around her waist,  simple bandages held her voluptuous breast in place and also around a giant weapon resting upon her back. The woman was certainly not dressed for the environment she passed through, yet the stern  look of determination on her face would make the sane of mind think twice about questioning her. Oshi, as she had come to be called, had spent the last three years in search of a man who attempted to remain hidden. Unfortunately, he could not stray away from his protective nature and as a result had gathered the wrong type of attention.

Those of "The Company" had setbacks like any other organization experimenting with forces beyond the realms of human comprehension, their play at god had created a devil and his following was growing. Three weeks prior a letter had been sent out in hopes of it reaching the right person, in it a detailed account of truths had been documented that only he would know of in hopes of fanning the flames of his curiosity, thus a place of meeting had been set and there was nothing that could be done by Oshi but to wait. Her mind was never one to ponder on uncertainties, she would not allow doubt to rest in her mind until accepting the fact was inevitable, this none other than a subconscious yearning to be in control. Something she would come to find was a trait she shared with the man who would come to be known as her brother, her half-brother, none other than Setōshi Sōichirō. Upon his arrival blank stares were exchanged before the stories began to unfold, and although their father's were different, from the same mother they were birthed. Oshi brought to light that certain aspects of the lives her brother experienced weren't all fabrications, for starters she was a living testament. So much a like they were, yet there were still visible differences, yet in the end family was family and Oshi was so overcome with emotion to be reunited that tears began to swell in her eyes before she clutched the man in a life-changing embrace. Setōshi knew then how surreal the moment had become and realized that he could now uphold his word.

Schink  — Blood splattered across both brother and sister's face as both sets of eyes grew wide, shock and awe had set in as the sound of them being impaled rang through their ears. "At last, Setōshi, we've caught up with you... And, what do you know!... He he he, it only took three tries... Three recreations of the very same experimental procedure that created you!... Admittedly, this one was a two part process... "  A voice called out as the  bandages covering the oversized weapon on Oshi's back began to fall. A series of downward-facing scales ran across the length of the blade with the exception of the hilt, at its base a small skull rested. Nothing of the sort had ever been seen by Setōshi's eyes, nothing of the sort had ever happened to Oshi.   "Huh? What do you mean it's time for you to find another?" Then, just like that, from within the interior of the blade a man in a white lab coat was regurgitated as the scale that impaled the brother sister duo was retracted. It was at this point that Oshi felt her body go numb and only a single second had  passed before she collapsed face first into the snow, her vision becoming even more blurry as she watched for as long as she could the  peculiar sight of the blade she once possessed then was betrayed by take said with her brother.

A loss of blood left the young woman unconscious, although her last sights where of her brother looking down upon her, she felt his warm embrace and that comforted her into a sleep. Whether she'd wake or not didn't matter, she had found him... She had finally found him... Her, big brother.

The initial shock of being impaled sent Setōshi's mind drifting into a realm he had been sent to before, it was the chamber that housed the seven tailed demon, Chomei. The walls were lit with several torches and before the man stood an enormous cage with several bars, the kanji for "Lucky" was written on a sealing tag keeping the chakra beast at bay. "Ku Ku Ku... How lucky of you to survive such a strike... How unlucky of the maiden you're with, she took the brute of it all..." Chomei said from within a shroud of shadows that showcased only the features of its eyes, huge gusts of wind whipped at the Setōshi's clothing, yet his ground he continued to stand tall. "Then lend me your chakra so I can rid both she and I of our wounds!!! Help me Chomei!!!!" More emotion than what he had ever shown before flooded out of him like the tears down his cheeks, both hands were wrapped around the bars of the confinement as he slumped down on his knees... "Ku Ku Ku... How unlucky of you to have been impaled by such a unique weapon, young Setōshi... It's hidden abilities have prevented me from passing my chakra to you, in fact it's draining it... Ku ku ku... I guess there is no choice, it must be done... "

A mix of confusion and rage could be read across the man's face as he began to rise to his feet and turning his back on his respective beast. "Fine... If you'll be of no help then I'll do things on my own..." Setōshi said in between sobs. "Ku Ku Ku... Most unlucky of you to want to do such a thing.. Quit while you're ahead... Turn and face me, renove your seal and test your luck, young Setōshi" The seven tailed beast spoke in a time unlike any other that had been experienced, never before did it demand anything out of its host other than to be free from captivity, thus from these context clues a wave of trust that only a parental figure could give was washed over Setōshi. It was obvious that his escape to save his sister would not occur unless he complied, and just like that, he reached up toward the seal that he crafted and removed it... What came next seemed something left only to the divine beings, to include himself within such a frame would be big headed of him, but surely as traveled deeper down the rabbit hole the concept came to mind...

No longer was there the sights of snowy edges,  no longer was there a beast of colossal stature before him. Here and now, time and space, none of the concepts mattered, thus in an endless loop of infinite space did the going Setōshi float. No longer did he fear for his sister or his own life, emotions as a whole had seemingly been switched off and replaced with a sense of understanding that could not nor was attempted to be understood. It simply just was. A lifetime of clarity had been consolidated into a single moment, and then a voice called out to him. "Setōshi, make no mistake... You will die and you will answer for the sins you've committed... Though, for now... Your time has not come, thus repentance is in your favor... I want to see you do right by that woman, your sister, Oshi... As a token of good faith, I bestow upon you a portion of my power. A portion of the power of those descending from the Uzumaki clan... It was once my dream to unite all of those who possessed like beasts, but as can be seen, a dream it will only remain... Thus, I entrust my mission to you... You have no say in the matter, Setōshi... Your torture is hell on earth, but the path of a sage you must walk... Set out, and please... Don't disappoint me, you owe me a proper fight..."

And just like that, he snapped back to realityb with a new instruments of peace and reconciliation at his disposal. A look of contentment could only be assumed to rest on Setōshi's face, his eyes darting from his sister to the man who had assaulted them, then down to the sword that curled up around at his feet. A familiar eye brow was cocked at the sight of a sentient weapon, but upon holding it in his arms their thoughts where put into a single place where everything was made clear to him. Like himself, the sword was a product of experimentation, its reasoning for doing the things it did lay with the man in the coat, thus, his life no longer needed to be attached to this realm.

"Doctor... I appreciate the life you have given to my, siblings, but your sins outweigh such acts... You must be held accountable, take my next actions with a grain of salt... This is something that I should have done so long ago..."

It would be a full day since the events occurred on the isle of the Land of Water, now out at sea, Setōshi traveled by ship back to the The Village Hidden in the Oasis. Accompanying him back was the sentient weapon that had come to be known as Samaheda, it's peculiar nature apparently favored the taste of its new owner's chakra, the extent of what that truly meant had not yet been explored, but in due time they would be. For now, his focus was on Oshi, his younger half-sister. Consequently, the same weapon they both possessed has crippled the young girl, a portion of her spine had been shaved and in the process paralyzing her from the waist down. She had yet to awake despite the outer portions of her wounds were healed, Setōshi's knowledge of the medical arts allowed him to assess the situation as best as he could with the instruments at his disposal. Her life as an active duty wandering shinobi was over, but that did not mean a new life could not be obtained elsewhere.
