Once upon a time…

There were twelve special children that lived in a beautiful and remarkable garden. The garden was one thousand meters long in each direction and surrounded by a transparent crystal wall that seemed to stretch up to the stars. The children never left the garden per the orders of the All-Father Qoheleth. He was their guardian and watched over, fed, and taught the children. These children were each of a different species and yet grew up together from the crib until now. The children were told that the entire universe was ravaged by war at all times, and they lived on a hidden world with peace and prosperity. They were each special being from their race who were being preserved during the war so that they could help start over. Each race is in fact enslaved to the titans and forced to offer a tribute to the gods and the garden to be groomed and then sacrificed to enable them to stay alive. These twelve were chosen by their race to take down the gods.
At the age of twelve, the children discovered the truth and broke free of the dimension they were held captive in, and fled via a spaceship to a world known as Indarin, a world filled with rainforests and caves. There, they are following the map they found in hidden messages in their books.

The ship landed in a cave overlooking a thousand miles of rainforest in each direction. Mountains could be seen in the distance, but it seemed hardly worth it. The kids were exposed if they were anywhere other than in the small cluster of hills and stones they were currently hidden within. The cave was large enough to house their ship and enable them to stay, but for how long they did not yet know. There were twelve of them, but five leaders. Mithrandir, Kurotsuchi, Maleldil, Theophania, and Najmec. Theophania had trained the children into following the battle plans set out by the three, and by the time they’d made their escape from the false Edenic paradise, the All-Father didn’t know what hit him. The children were certain that they would be chased by their guardian who’d kept them as caged animals for all their lives; but they were unsure of what awaited them on the other side of their homeworld. They knew of terrible titans that had destroyed the universe and eaten the stars, but not of what other life forms still lived. They couldn’t tell what to trust from what they’d been told as kids.

Najmec scanned the area for vitals, Kuro for chakra, and Mithrandir for connection.
It was obvious that they had no way of knowing what was up ahead, but the three leaders found it their primary goal to protect their siblings. They were all technically the same age, but the four main leaders were in many ways years older.
The five began to discuss what to do as the others were let down from the ship and rain began to pour down as the sunrise began in the west. The forest below was ominous and the trees were clearly unlike those from their homeworld. Mithrandir naturally wondered how much control over the plant life he would have considering this was a different planet. In Eden he’d had almost omnipotent control over plant life; this was different territory. They couldn’t risk Maleldil transforming and flying up ahead; it might get them spotted by a titan or aliens on this world. Kurotsuchi agreed the ground approach was best. The question was then, should they take everyone? To leave any behind left the fear for their protection; to bring them meant they were in an environment that none of them knew for sure how to navigate. It was soon proposed by Maleldil that the answer was to traverse the ground with just the three of them, and provide protection and security for the other nine should something happen. Every single one of these children had extraordinary abilities beyond what they could currently imagine. But they were unsure what the power of other life forms was like considering they’d never experienced them. That being said, Theophania and Najmec were formidable in every way, and the three trusted them to successfully keep everyone safe in the cave.

Mithrandir took the rain as an opportunity to create and secure a home for everyone. Rain was usually a time where animals did not congregate or hunt, and he assumed such venial laws of nature would be in effect. The whole to the cave was ten meters high and ten wide. Theophania, from a world known as Kaldron, had the ability to create and manipulate the properties of crystals. She encased the entire cave with white crystal. Mithrandir pumped the crystal with solar energy to give it an ambient glow to light the cave and provide warmth. Theophania’s crystals were such a perfect elemental combination with mithrandir’s Zohar light. She could control the radiation absorbed by her crystals like controlling a thermometer; mission accomplished. Mithrandir then encased the entire cave with a few small trees, plants, fruits, vegetables and the like to give the children a comfortable grassy surface to walk and sleep upon. Najmec made preparations for the ship to recharge and for him to recharge inside of it. Kurotsuchi had pumped the ship full of chakra and lightning so that it would sustain itself. Speaking of lightning, there was more in the sky than any of them had ever seen. Najmec placed a forcefield at the edge of the cave opening so that nothing could enter and leave. Lastly, Mithrandir placed twenty five leech kings on all sides of the cave to ensure that no creatures would crawl themselves into the cave unexpectedly. With that, Mithrandir, Kurotsuchi and Maleldil set out to the ground level of the strange forest, and proceeded forth leaping from branch to branch in pursuit of the Aldous Cave.

Dragon Up?

hat lies on this planet didn't matter to young Furyan he had other matters that required his focus. He has YET to reveal his powers to the others because he didn't trust them, and more importantly he didn't trust himself. Letting out a sigh with his strive it was accompanied with a leap from tree to tree. Well, not only tree to tree but branch to branch each branch was enough to support the weight of 2 full adults maybe more. Right now him, Kurotsuchi, and Mithrandir lead the way the Furyan stayed about 5 meters in a range from them.

Some of this didn't add up at all not to mention each person have a vast amount of chakra Maleldil could put his finger on it but this planet was dangerous. He needed to collect information on each one of his so-called allies. For a short moment, Maleldil eyes turn from normal to sharp serpent-like eyes. In the span of 10 seconds maybe less should someone catch whim of this development? He would stop otherwise he would continue within them 10 seconds he would search the soul of each of his allies, and also glance forward his range was as far as infamous Byakugan.

Anything that was within range he would see, and he could make out what is to come next. This ability is known as Furygan The Dragon Eye nothing escape his gaze good or bad honest or lie.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Finally, the band of run away had arrived. Kurotsuchi waited in the wings while the others went about their business. Theophania's crystals proved to be a delightful and welcomed sight. Mithrandir added his own flavour to the mix, creating a more homely feel. Were they planning on spending a great deal of time on this planet? Kurotsuchi was truly fascinated by the scenery. The skies lit up in a beautiful display as lightning streaked across the clouds. The thunder rumbled on throughout what many would call the heavens. Seeing it all unfold before his eyes, he couldn't help but feel an attachment to it all. Perhaps it was his affinity for both water and lightning. He often laughed about it but it couldn't be helped at all. Off they went, moving using the trees to aid in their travel. The canopy provided by the rain-forest was used as cover. The idea was to be as careful and vigilant as possible. This was uncharted territory and one can never be too cautious. There are many dangers out there. In Kurotsuchi's case, he could only hope to find some answers soon enough. A map was being used to guide them to their destination. Kurotsuchi wasn't exactly worried about their base. It was well protected.

Looking around in the area though and the scenery. The forest looked otherworldly for sure. The colours wasn't your typical green. It carried a mixture of red, indigo, blue and an assortment of other colours. The forest was colourful, something to marvel at. As they moved from tree to tree, branch to branch. The ivory-haired fox could not help but chuckle. This was in response to Maleldil and his antics. "Is something the matter, Maleldil? You seem to prefer keeping your distance. Not to mention, you've been moulding chakra for purposes other than surface walking. Is there anything you wish to share with the class? I promise I don't bite much. Can't speak for Mithrandir though, he seems to have this insatiable appetite for crap. On the other hand, you're doing the right thing by not letting your guard down. Had I been in your position I'd be doing the same, though in a less obvious way". He stated out loud so that both Mithrandir and Maleldil could hear him loud and clear. Wherever they were headed to, Kurotsuchi could only hope that they get there soon enough.

While the forest was quiet for the most part. The strange creatures did not escape his gaze. Some of which appearing just as cautious as the trio. The insects and so on were quite unique. Najmec did well giving them a breakdown on what to avoid. Otherwise they could end up on the wrong side of a stinger or some claws. On their way they went in hopes of a significant discovery.

The woods were chilling. As they walked through the wood it was confirmed to Mithrandir that indeed his intimate relationship with plant life and nature in general was intergalactic. It wasn’t only confined to the world from which they’d come, where plant life seemed to be abundant and the planet teeming with life. Mithandir could speak to nature the way that most could speak to others in another language. The plant life in this wood, however, seemed to be almost mute. On the outside it seemed strong and lively, but he could sense that they were dead on the inside. Funny how life tends to be ironic. Just three months ago he and his eleven siblings lived upon what they knew as the Isle of Blooming Flowers. A paradise world that their earliest memories tied them to. There, under the guardianship of the All-Father, they tended to gardens, chased large animals, and used their powers like a child uses small toys. Mithrandir created animated plant life to toy with and play games, never realizing the implications of his incredible KKG. Kuro and Najmec were the most intelligent of the group, and always won the board games, and hide-and-go seek; but he was beginning to catch up. It was only by accident, while hiding from Kurotsuchi’s strange eyes that he’d stumbled upon a secret cave. In that cave, were secrets that were the beginning of a conspiracy that ended his dream life. Twelve beautiful children, wonderfully made and endowed with abilities that kings would only dream of; all there as nothing more than to be the playthings of the gods. Having now escaped, it was freedom from the cage, but vulnerability to freedom. Freedom was apparently unknown to the children of the grail. They’d lived in a false freedom all of their lives and hadn’t realized just how predictable and unquantifiable the danger and evil of the universe truly was. It’d never occurred to them to even care about the universe or what else was out there; they had all the universe and variety they’d ever want amongst each other.

Now they were in a place entirely unfamiliar. Theophania certainly would worry about them every moment they were gone. Each carried a tracker that allowed Najmec to communicate to them as well as track their location in case back up was needed. Galatea had complained of serious migranes ever since they entered the airspace, which implied to Mithrandir and Najmec that some kind of psychic energy was present and strong in this world. All of these concepts they learned from the books and crystals found in the cave they were never supposed to discover.

Mithrandir place his two brothers in wooden armor to ensure none of the toxins and poisons in the air would infiltrate their immune system. Mithrandir stopped on a branch of a tree on the right hand side of the forest for a moment, as he felt a movement in the energy of the wood.

“Be careful with Maleldil… something about him is… unpredictable.”

Those were the words of Najmec spoken to Mithrandir in private before they’d left. Maleldil had always been the most anti-social of the siblings. Sure, there were a few introverts, like Galatea, but it was different. Maleldil often behaved as though he were in enemy territory and was being careful about what he let others see. Mithrandir and Kuro had spent so much time being big brother to all their siblings, especially during the exodus, that they’d had little time for one-on-one with anyone. He heard the sarcasm in Kuro’s voice, Kuro trailing him by no more than a meter or two. He knew him well enough to know that he was using humor to mask genuine concern. Mithrandir had to focus on the threat ahead however. He sensed a creature of above average life force within two hundred meters of them. The sky was dark grey. Not night, but the darkest of days. It was silence for about five minutes in the wood, and Mithrandir began to let his guard down ever so slightly. The creature was still present, but perhaps not hostile. They had finally reached a part of the forest where he could see over the trees a bit, the mountains in the distance. It was in these mountains that they would find the Aldous cave, a vanirian stronghold. He didn’t know what Vanirians looked like, but he hoped that whatever creature that as present was not them. Looking back at his brothers with a nod, Mithrandir floated down one hundred meters to the ground surface, knowing Kuro and Mal had his back. He walked carefully, wearing all grey military-looking pants, shirt and black boots. His head was covered with a black headband that kept his now neck-long golden hair, his large purple irises dazzling though there was no star in sight. A thud could be heard in the close distance. With it, Mithrandir began to prepare a defensive maneuver. He didn’t know what the extent of his regenerative abilities were, but they were enough to survive the things that would usually kill someone. Neither of the children had actually ever seen a death, but they understood the idea. Mithrandir had been damaged greatly during the Exodus, when the All-Father attacked both himself and Kurotsuchi. Mithrandir had regenerated perfectly, and as though no damager were ever dealt. Knowing this, he headed every mission with the belief that he should be the first to come into contact with the enemy. He glanced up at Kuro for a moment, to affirm he’d seen nothing. Before he could read his expression, he looked once more in front of him and saw the unbelievable.

A radiant blue cat, with black stripes all all along his skins. The creature was twenty meters in height at least, and immediately resonated with his senses as the creature with enormous life force. The beast, while Mithrandir was still catching his breath, loaded up a fireball to send straight towards the Aesirian, who stood only thirty meters straight across from it.

hat did he say? It didn't matter because Maleldil had forcefully ignored the comments of the Kurotsuchi. He had learned that being still, and knowing when to act is important. Instead of focusing on Kurotsuchi reflect his mind of the potential threat that lurks ahead of them. His eyes allow him to see as far as the byakugan by a bit better as far as features go. In that short time of him peering forward, he made out the image of the creature before they had arrived in the area. It was a good thing that his guard was up, and on top of that, it was good to know that Kurotsuchi can determine when the use of his abilities.

He had wondered if that includes all know arts of chakra or was it limited to just that of chakra nature. Letting out a sigh he was sure to keep his guard up, an continue to follow the group as well as keeping his distance from them at what he stated before. His eyes had returned to normal at the time of Kuro comments it was no longer needed because he can both sense, and see the potential threat.

As they reach the area of the open cave there was a drop into the cave as far as they could tell it was pretty deep{100 meters}. Sighing Maleldil follow Mithrandir but instead of floating down he descends using the method coating his feet with chakra, and walk down. Upon arriving at the bottom of the cave it was somewhat dark other than small sources of light within the cave.

He kept about 15 meters from Mithrandir as he watches as blue cat appearance within the area it attention is unknown, and Maleldil didn't care. He watches as the creature fired off a blast of fire about 5 meters in radius heading for Mithrandir. Not wishing to get his hands dirty he folds his arms, and just watch as the action unfolded.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

The trio traversed the area as intended and the need for some sort of discovery arrived soon after. Kurotsuchi watched as Mithrandir took the lead, descending towards the forest floor. The pale-eyed one had already sensed the creature ahead of them. His Byakugan was immediately activated. This allowed him to see the creature in all its glory. The giant of a beast, was even bigger than first thought. Kurotsuchi immediately scanned the creature. Its appearance, its chakra, and general demeanour. Its safe to say that this was something of supernatural proportions. A Bakeneko, which is a cat like creature considered to be a demon. There was something else which further confirmed it. These magnificent creature stood just over thirty meters tall. Its body was completely engulfed in flames lending more to its cobalt blue and black colours. Its flamed body gave it the appearance of what many would call a Kasha. The burning chariot, which itself was another Yokai or demon creature if you will. It also has hetero-chromatic eyes, the right being yellow and the left being green, similar to an odd-eyed cat without pupils. Kurotsuchi felt a deep connection with this creature. There was an unexplained affinity, something Kurotsuchi could not yet explain. At this moment in time though, this creature seemed to be standing guard. That much was evident based on the aggression showed towards Mithrandir. The ivory-haired young man was tempted to bellow at Mithrandir and instruct him to fall back. Now wasn't the time for such things at all. The creature had already attacked. A ball of fire was released with great ferocity, incinerating the plant life in its path. Kurotsuchi was troubled in the sense that he wished no harm to this creature. Will Mithrandir have the sense to try and subdue it.

They couldn't be certain about whether or not they can handle it. Who knows what strange abilities this creature possesses? Its chakra reserves are stupidly high. This made Kurotsuchi feel even more drawn to it. Despite the plan to take the forest path. Kurotsuchi felt compelled to take a detour. As such the ivory haired male took off flying at great speeds. High above he went in order to get behind the creature. While remaining outside of its predicted attack range. As Kurotsuchi moved above the creature. Using both tails, a pair of fire balls fifteen meters in diameter were sent flying towards Kurotsuchi. These balls of flames were rapid, carried intense heat and power. Kurotsuchi did what he needed to do and flew out of the way of both. His Byakugan allowed him to keep a close eye on what Mithrandir and Maleldil were doing. He had thoughts on what to do next. Should he attack or go forward and search the caves? A tough situation, but Kurotsuchi knew he needed to see things through. Its best to deal with the two-tailed creature. Ensure that everyone was okay and then move on to the caves. Thing is, does he attack while Mithrandir and Maleldil are still down below? It shouldn't be too much of an issue for them to escape.

Mithrandir retreated behind a large tree five meters south of him, only to be hit by the fireball which incinerated the tree, ten trees on both sides of him, and most of his clothes. The creature roared a battle cry as the Aesirian arose out of the ashes, black ash covering his glowing ripped body as he turned to look over his left shoulder at the creature. His shirt, or what remained of it, was torn off, leaving him with only ripped black pants and a look of indignation. The burns that hed’ ensued were instantly healed by his midichlorians, them wasting no time to not only heal him but align his cellular structure so that his body would be better prepared to handle such an attack should it hit again. Mithrandir had the greatest body in all the universe and still knew less than one percent of what it could do. Yet he could not help but wonder with a hint of anxiety as to the potential power of beings around him. He glanced up quickly at Kurotsuchi, annoyed to see his brother focused, but non-engaged. That was the difference between Kuro and himself; the will to act. Or rather, the speed of action. Kuro was careful and calculative; Mithrandir was boisterous and assertive. The mixture made them the perfect team, but both often were irritated with the other for their differences. Mithrandir looked at the cat straight in the eyes as it dropped its body into a prowl, waiting to pounce on its prey. Without saying a word, dark green branches that glowed vaguely, ripped up from the ground to grab the limbs of the big cat. From these branches, sharp spikes emerged that impaled the creature and released a venom into its bloodstream that would make its body go numb. Mithrandir had very little experience using his poisons and toxins given few could even survive his most simple and basic attacks. The creature let out another cry of pain as it began to thrash about, attempting to tear and stretch the never-ending plethora of vines and branches seeking to contain it. Mithrandir stood facing the cat, using his arms as the conductor or maestro of this symphonic attack of emerging nature. The beast didn’t seem to be slowing down much at first, which made Mithrandir uneasy. It had one aggressive bolt wherein it did tear through his branches and make a move directly towards him. The arrogance in Mithrandir wouldn’t allow him to move, though the creatures raw power had accomplished a victory over his plants that no living thing ever had. The creature swiped its paw towards Mithrandir before falling flat on its face unconscious, as the branches and vines once more swarmed its body. Its paw landed a foot from Mithrandir, a painful reminder of the creature’s aggressive nature. Taking down the cat, however, was of more value than simply survival. It had not come out to attack them in vain, but for distraction. For where the creature once stood, they could now see a hole through the forest that showed a row of mountains in the distance. Halfway up the mountain, an entrance to a cave could be seen. Though Kuro would be able to see, and Mithrandir sense - there were life forms in that cave, and both of them knew they'd found what they'd come looking for. Mithrandir smiled a bit and looked up to his brother Kuro, still noting the childish behavior of the anti-social Maleldil in the background.

“Looks like we found our welcoming party.”
With that Mithrandir kept the cat subdued by the vines, and sedated. He’d be going no where, and Najmec would be told via his transmitters, that such a creature had been encountered and lay dormant in the woods not one hundred meters from the cave wherein their other brothers and sisters were. He floated up above in the air, still below the tree tops, and began to soar towards the Aldous cave, knowing his brothers were in tow.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Kurotsuchi maintained his position while watching the current battle. Safe to say it ended a little prematurely, which in itself was a little disappointing. The ivory-haired warrior paid close attention to what Mithrandir did. The manner in which he handled the situation was an eye opener. Kurotsuchi felt a little disgusted by it all. He could not help but feel that connection towards the creature that stood before them. Causing it pain wasn't what Kurotsuchi wished for. It was unfortunately needed as it was a matter of survival. Be that as it may, Kurotsuchi's path was clear. They all knew their destination now and so they headed for it. The young man wasted no time flying towards the cave. He was certain that something would be there to greet them all. Kurotsuchi felt excited and at the same time somewhat nervous. This could be a moment of truth or one of utter disappointment. Pushing forward, Kurotsuchi took the lead looking assured. His Byakugan peered into the cave, but it wasn't so easy taking a peek inside. There was a barrier up which surrounded the place. One to ensure that trespassers would be kept at bay. The two tailed creature was perhaps the guard dog so to speak. It didn't protect whatever was inside the cave. There he was at the entrance to the cave with his Byakugan activated. Looking inside it was dimly lit, appearing rather ghastly. Its eerie nature would act as a great deterrent for a child. The adventurous trio wasn't having at of that. Kneeling down, Kurotsuchi picked up a pebble to confirm his suspicions. Said pebble was flicked forwards before bouncing back off the invisible barrier. Its outline became visible for a few moments. The Byakugan allowed Kurotsuchi to analyse the chakra used to create it. A smirk was on his face as he moved forward. His left hand outstretched while phasing through the barrier. Kurotsuchi came to a stop and raised his right index finger. This was a signal for Mithrandir and Maleldil to halt their progress.

"I wouldn't try to move beyond the threshold which separates us. In fact, I want you to try it. Please indulge me so I can confirm a few things". He stated with a certain level of unnerving certainty. Being on the outside of the barrier, his Byakugan appeared limited. Even his senses dulled which stood as testament to the security measures of those inside the cave. Kurotsuchi turned and faced Mithrandir and Maleldil. "If you could see what I'm seeing now, I guess this is what Najmec calls tingling. I think its easier for a Vanir to move pass this barrier than it is for others". Before he could give any further explanation, another voice chimed in. "Correct. Only those of Vanirian lineage could move beyond this point. Question is, why are you with the enemy?". Out of nowhere another being came into existence with a blade pointed at Kurotsuchi's throat. At the same time, the welcome party appeared behind Mithrandir and Maleldil. They positioned themselves on the outside of the caves. Numerous warriors stepped out from the walls of the cave. Safe to say they were now surrounded. The creature which Mithrandir took down roared outside. The vines used to subdue it were destroyed. The sedative in its blood stream was drained and the beast seemed to be fighting fit. Atop its head sat a woman with a bow in her hand with a arrow made of bones. This was Kurotsuchi's people for sure.

The being which held the blade at Kurotsuchi's throat was a bearded man. Standing at least six foot four inches tall. His body muscular, bald headed with a scar below his left eye. The warriors which confronted them seemed strong, maybe strong enough to take on the young trio. "Do you know what you've done bringing that filthy thing here?". His words quite frankly aimed at Mithrandir, which made sense. Kurotsuchi was recently made aware of the issues between his own people and Mithrandirs. They're sworn enemies with a deep hate towards each other. Kurotsuchi and Mithrandir grew up together and as such matters were now more complicated. "Seize the Aesir and that one too". The order was given and an attempt will of course be made. Kurotsuchi sighed a little before releasing a chuckle. This could end really bad, but Kurotsuchi would not allow it.

Mithrandir’s body went into battle mode after the creature was subdued. He was slightly annoyed Kuro had done nothing but look on in fascination as he’d almost been ripped to shreds. He followed swiftly after the Vanirian prince, keeping his eye on a emotionally-distant Maleldil.
They arrived at the cave rather fast, and its opening was much larger than it appeared at a distance. The remains of his shirt were torn asunder, leaving him bare chested and revealing the physique of a powerful grown man, though he was still technically a teenager.

Mithrandir could not help but feel a kind of vulnerability that Kuro could hardly understand. Their bodies were a great reflection of their personalities. Kuro was so calculative, and this enabled and enhanced by his ability to literally see things coming at all times. Mithrandir was very limited in vision, yet built for the impact of any and all kinds of surprises. The base rocky ground that led to the cave entrance was also larger than they’d expected, below it was the dense wood below from whence they’d come. The walkway to the cave entrance was fifty meters wide, and thirty long. It reminded him somewhat of a bridge he’d seen to the main castle in Yardin; and at the same time it was large enough to be a landing pad for a ship of some kind. Walking towards the entrance, his midichlorians began to speak to him through various sensations in his body. His body naturally carried an ambient golden glow at all times, but during certain situations different colors of the rainbow spectrum would make a brief appearance in various parts of his body. When he felt intense emotion, different colors will appear. This was his bodies way of preparing itself by concentrating absorbed solar energy into a form in which the user could access and manipulate; but he’d find this out much later than the current moment. For now all Mithrandir knew how to use was his god-like physique and the power of nature which had always obeyed him.

They came to the entrance, vast in size, and Kuro proceeded first. Apparently there was a barrier of sorts that separated the men from entering into the actual cave. Again, something only someone with Kuro’s gifts would’ve seen. All of these seemingly invisible threats are what had Mithrandir’s body in alert; and yet at the same time he felt something that he recalled only once, long ago. He and Kurotsuchi had been play-fighting one time and things had gotten a bit more fiery than normal. Kuro had taken a toy of Mithrandir and dared him to take it back. Being more agile and swifter than his brother, Kuro had led him on for hours without being touched. Eventually, the temperamental titan of a child that Mithrandir was came to its wit’s end. Mithrandir recalls a feeling of being challenged, of being called to kill. A feeling, for a moment, that he was at a point of crisis where he needed to win in order to protect something, or someone. His eyes became pure light energy, and he emitted a radiation that burned down half the forest, and nearly scorched Kuro to death. Kuro had escaped, but not without severe burns to the right side of his body. Mithrandir was buzzing the rest of the day, in a state of shock. It was as if something had taken over his body, and yet it felt so natural.

He felt it coming on now. A white energy began to emit five meters around Mithrandir, and small quarter-size balls of pure light energy surrounded him. Kuro warned them not to come any further. He looked at Maleldil, who seemed stoic as usual, and yet he could sense tension rising in his brother as well. Kuro turned around from facing them, and a knife appeared out of nowhere, directed at his throat. Here it began. Three people appeared behind Mithrandir and Maleldil, and below them could be heard the sound of a roaring beast; the beast he’d slain.
Ten warriors in total surrounded Mithrandir and Maleldil, with four seeming to be confronting Kuro in the cave. The leader, who’d called directly out to Mithrandir, seemed to have a particular distataste for his kind. Mithrandir knew at that moment that the coded message left to them in the book was left by a Vanirian; and he’d left it for Kuro. It made sense now why only Kuro could decipher it, and why the beast hadn’t attacked Kuro. This was a world of Vanir.

Unsure of any history between his people and theirs beyond the fact that they were enemies, Mithrandir didn’t know what his bargaining chips were. He could only roughly assess the battle strength of the ten men surrounding them. He’d never lost a fight, but something told him these were a caliber of warrior that he’d yet to face. The fact that the beast had been freed meant that his plants were not something they weren’t prepared to come up against and even restrain. More than anything, he worried about Maleldil. Maleldil was the emo younger brother of the group, and though his mute nature infuriated Mithrandir most of the time, he loved him. The question at that moment, the question that directed his midichlorians and his next action more than anything now, was how he could best ensure the survival of his brother.

Mithrandir powered down, the hunted expression of the warriors seeming to be relieved slightly as he did so.

“I will come in peace if you promise the safety of my brothers,” he said, like a death-sentenced criminal making his final plea.

Mithrandir was not afraid of death, largely because he was programmed to be so, and also because he was deeply confident in a place inside himself that he couldn’t point to. He knew he’d get out of this somehow, and he trusted Kuro to come through with a witty escape when the time was right. For the moment, he needed to get Maleldil out of here so he could get back to the ship with the others, safe and sound.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Kurotsuchi expected Mithrandir to be riled up and of course react. It was in his nature to rush in head first and be ever so assertive. A trait which Kurotsuchi came to admire and also loathe. There was a time and place for everything. Kurotsuchi was well aware of Mithrandir's capabilities. His genetic make up can be described as unique. Even then it would take a multitude of superlatives to do it any real justice. Bottom line, Kurotushci felt he knew more about Mithrandir than Mithrandir knew himself. Safe to say his brother had become his personal case study, and it was the same for his other siblings. Kurotsuchi was no fool, he knew very well they weren't his blood relatives. But their bond made them brothers, there are a family. And messing with one family member could equate to a fuck ton of trouble. Here we was now, threatened by those he shared the same blood with. The same genetic build and a fury to last a life time. The ivory-haired warrior almost applauded Mithrandir. He made the right choice on this occasion. Mithrandir sensed it was easy to proceed without much conflict. Kurotsuchi was the opposite on this occasion. Time for a disrespectful and witty remark! "Goodness me, it seems the hyena is afraid of the lion. Be that as it may, I hope my next words will sink in. If that blade of yours isn't lowered within the next five seconds. I will tear this world asunder, at which point you will wish for a swift death". He boldly declared and in tandem with his words came the release of his chakra. The area in which they stood began to shake. Black chakra laced with lightning was now visible. It crackled about his body with his Byakugan activated. His killing intent was made clear.

It was overbearing, bringing forth a bleak outlook on things. The light in the area did not dim, but it had gotten darker for those in the vicinity. Mithrandir had never experienced this version of Kurotsuchi before. In fact. The darkness lurking within was the complete opposite of Mithrandir's light. The Vanir are a complex species, they can bring about perfect balance. Or the scales could be tipped so far as to bring forth utter chaos. Kurotsuchi's body wasn't designed the same as Mithrandir's. In fact every fibre in his body was gearing towards assaulting his brother. So it should be, but he wasn't a mindless ghoul. The time spent together, watching each other's back saw some changes. They grew to accept and tolerate the other party. "We both know its going to take more than a mere blade to stop me, or that thing over". His right index finger was directed towards Mithrandir. The reason for their apparent fear. Kurotsuchi felt insulted by the show but at the same time understood it. "Such chakra and you haven't even reached your full potential yet".The bearded fellow stated while lowering his blade. At this point, the other warriors halted their progress. Deciding against pursuing any action against Maleldil and Mithrandir. "Irrespective of all that you did just now. The Aesir and the Vanir are sworn enemies. We have a blood feud which stems from the time we started recording our history. What was once a time of peace turned into centuries of chaos. Death and destruction took hold, simply because of greed and an inbred superiority complex. Ours is a proud people, while not without fault, our sins are nothing compared to theirs". Kurotsuchi was curious to hear even more about what happened. The words of this individual carried a lot of venom and hate. That in itself should not be interested. And by the sounds of it, this wasn't because of ignorance. Kurotsuchi realised it was much deeper than that. By this point, the ivory-haired warrior had calm down. He seemed focus on what was being said and also whatever was transpiring around him.

"Your feelings are duly noted. I've lived with Mithrandir for some time now, and maybe we're naive. But wars, violence, hatred and destruction all have their root in something. You obviously seem to have some experience. We're simply here to experience and discover the truth of it all". The bearded man sighed and shook his head. "Stand down for now. Besides, the young Prince and our future King demands it. If not by his words but by his actions. Follow us, we've much to discuss. We will make it safe for the Aesir and that mute Furyan over there". Kurotsuchi was stunned by what he heard. Prince and future king? This new revelation managed to throw a spanner into the works. The ivory-haired male looked over at Mithrandir and Maleldil. The barrier which kept them at bay was lowered. As such both outsiders would be allowed to pass. Off they went now into another area, leading through the cave. On the other side of what was something truly magnificent. The temporary home of his people was hidden. They had a large city teeming with life, every day life for that matter. This was more than a basic outpost. The architecture was something to marvel at. Ships, buildings, rives, lakes, trees and otherworldly things. Kurotsuchi was truly impressed, but could see that this place was protected. In the meantime, they headed for a certain Vanir temple. There they will come to find out even more. All eyes was on the strangers now. Mithrandir and Maleldil had more attention given onto them. The Vanir people hissed at Mithrandir, showing their feelings towards the Aesir. Kurotsuchi felt bad for him, but understood it. Even he wasn't spared the snide remarks. How will this all end?

Mithrandir stood relaxed and almost moved as Kurotsuchi played the aggressor. It was usually Mithrandir who would make a sharp comment and be prepared for war. His more calm and collected brother would usually stand back and chuckle, jumping in only when needed. Brute force had marked Mithrandir’s life, for most of his life, and he was not ashamed. It was his blind courage that had gotten his brothers and sisters safely out of the prison that was their upbringing. It was his boldness that had enabled them to take risks along the way to stay hidden and away from danger. Traveling through the stars naked, unsure of where they’d end up, he’d been a protector and a comforter.

Now he saw that in Kurotsuchi, and he felt affirmed. He felt a small snippet of envy that Kuro had been the first to find his people, to find his true home. Perhaps more than anyone else had Mithrandir desired a land he could neither touch nor find. He, like Kuro, knew he and his siblings were of a different origin, and longed for the day where each and every single one of them would once and for all truly feel like they belonged. Then again… they did; with each other. Home had once been wherever the children of the grail were at any given time. Now forced out of that fantasy, they were beginning to be faced with the stark reality of the universe; they were different, and different meant at war. The Aesir and Vanir had a feud that was as notorious as Cain and Abel, as yin and yang. There was not a being in the nine realms that did not know of the wars of the two oldest and most powerful races in the entire universe. Little did the two young men know, their brotherhood was an anomaly that the universe had not yet learned to tolerate. More curious was the prophetic identity that Kurotsuchi had in relation to the Vanir, and Mithrandir to the Aesir. All these things would play out and reveal themselves in time, but for now - the city.

Raan they called it.

The lie of Neverland Raan10

Mithrandir was astonished as he and Maleldil walked with guards behind, to the side and in front of them down the main street of the city. After entering into the cave, they and all the company with them were lowered down to street level, immediately coming face to face with the grandiosity of Raan, like one who got to see the beauty of a great city while coming down in an elevator of a tower in the midst of it. The city was three levels, high, meaning that it was as though three cities were atop each other. On the highest level was the most technologically advanced. It is where flying vehicles, shiny metallic buildings, railroads and floating A.I.’s could be seen. Below them was an artificial farm-land of sorts where there could be seen Vanirians dressed in simple garments tending to purple fields. It appeared they were gathering large fruits and vegetables that were unlike anything Mithrandir had ever seen on their homeworld. On that level could be seen flying beasts. Not dragons per say, but something similar. Lastly, and on the lowest level, was a kind of industrial like city, where buildings were placed a paperclip apart from one another and almost zero organic life could be seen or sensed by Mithrandir. The highest level is where they landed from the platform above, the company heading down the mainstreet towards what was obviously an imperial building that trumped all others in size and majesty. The building was something of a castle, truth be told, and yet shared the same kind of retro type style that highly advanced civilizations are characterized to have.

Kuro walked ahead with the commander, clearly held in some unusual form of esteem by the soldiers. It was clear to Mithrandir that Kuro’s objection to their capture and attempted execution was taken as a solemn order as though given from a king, when he’d spoken it. Could it really be that Kuro was some kind of prince or ruler to these people? If that was the case, how could he possibly have been lost or wound up growing up with the rest of the children? Did that mean that all the children were actually royal descendants of some kind of their respective races? The ideas both frightened and excited Mithrandir as he thought on them.

They came to the steps of the great governmental building, two doors of enormous size blocking the way inside. The commander looked back on Mithrandir and Maleldil with disgust, as though he was unsure they were holy enough to enter into such a place. But then he looked to Kuro with a kind of relief and deep satisfaction, like a father looking upon his favourite son in order to relieve him of the regret he’d likely had about his lesser progeny. After that look, he led the company forth and the two ten meter tall machina guards (clearly machines), opened the vast and wide gates, leading them into what would appear to be a royal throne room.

The throne room was much like the rest of the underground city; remarkably dark and yet luminous at the same time. Mithrandir was unsure of what it was exactly the Vanir were using to keep light in their city, but everywhere there was neon blue and green light. They walked into the enormous vessel, and were met with a wide room much like the lobby of a very large office building downtown. It was about one hundred meters wide and long, with doors all along the walls  where Vanirians could be seen walking and floating in and out of. White circular A.I. floated all around as though they were personal messengers who moved around to deliver information from one part of the room to another. As the party proceeded forth they came into a room at the end of the large room. The head chief placed his hand on the door and the carvings along the door lit up with blue sapphire energy. With  nothing else said, the door separated from the center outwards, and the party was led in.

The door sealed in behind them leading into a smaller and more ominous room. The halls were surprisingly shallow, almost as though the room were a secret of some kind that wasn’t meant to include the entirety of the populace outside. They walked down small steps and towards the end of the room where there was a visible throne. Mithrandir looked down at the enormous eye in the center of the room, a symbol he’d seen in secret writings of the Vanir aboard the ship. As they drew closer, he could make out a figure sitting upon the throne, and twenty five guards that spawned out of the walls around, each of them wearing a black-stone bird mask and golden arm bands to match.

The lie of Neverland Vaniri10

The figure was old and yet young at the same time. Something about his presence unnerved Mithrandir, who only as he drew near enough to make out the man’s face could feel the discomfort of familiarity with him. He felt guilt and fear come upon his body all at once. As he stood at attention before the Vanirian ancient.

“You’ve done well Gorah. I thought it would take you much longer to retrieve him given the circumstances of the forest. Are there any other survivors?”

“My lord, we found him wondering through the forest with the two prisoners. The Matabi was sent out to fight them as we thought they were intruders, but its chakra reacted differently in the presence of a Vanirian. They soon came to the cave and we proceeded from there."

“You were fortunate to not come across any of the… enemy. It seems fate has smiled upon us in bringing back royal blood Raan.”

The old man stepped down from his throne. He was dressed in all white bone armor, with black clothing under neath. His hair was silver, and his eyes were lifeless, it was like looking at someone of the undead. Vanirians were pale, but he looked nearly white. No irisis could be seen in his eyes, and it appeared as though his byakugan were permanently activated and stitched across his face. He stepped down from the great throne and down twenty five steps to come to ground level with the guards. Judging by Gorah, the head captain who stood next to Kuro, it was rare to see the old man up close. He walked to Kurotsuchi with a look of endearment as he placed his right hand upon his right cheek and titled his head like a caring father.

“You must be so confused child. So excited and yet fearful as to what will happen next. Fear not, you are home; your true home. All will be explained soon.”

As a being who was truly heartless, not a single drop of emotion could actually be felt in the words he said. Mithrandir naturally could sense emotion and life coming from living things around him; he sensed nothing from this man. The man passed from Kuro to Maleldil who inwardly and outwardly projected malice.

“Looks like you did some digging for fossils on your trip to the outside world. His transformation will be an interesting study.”

He turned now to walk towards Mithrandir, glowing a bit brighter than normal as his body was in attack mode still. He contained himself for the sake of his brothers, but could feel power rising up into him like lava rising in a volcano. As the strange ruler approached, the feelings of intense desire only increased. His cells seemed to silently scream at him; begging for violence. Once he even heard an audible voice say “avenge us!”

Lost into whatever was going on inside of him, he was nearly startled when he came to and was standing face to face with the old man, whose interest in him was unmistakable.

“Simply, extr… Forgive me child… It’s been a millennia since I have stood in the presence of… something truly divine.

Tell no one about this, Garon. Let not even the high council know we have an Aesirian in our possession. Not that they’d believe you anyway…
He will be kept in my private quarters, along with the Furyan. In the meantime, prepare Kurotsuchi; he and I will be taking a tour of Raan shortly."

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Traversing the city and land where his people now dwells. The ivory haired warrior marvelled at the technological advances they made. Whether it was ancient knowledge or something new did not matter. He was impressed and somewhat thankful. Kurotsuchi had it in his head that his own people were probably living a nomadic life. He envisioned them as being in hiding, living like peasants. Much to his surprise it was the exact opposite too. Even while walking, Kurotsuchi activated his Byakugan, peering deeper into the city. Taking in every bit of detail that his eyes allowed him to see. Upon inspection, the ivory haired male liked what he saw. Although, there are certain aspects he did not like. He was yet to fathom the true nature of their society. The hierarchy and just how each and everyone fitted in. The city seemed to be functioning without issues. That was on the surface of it all. There will probably be time yet to investigate and draw his own conclusion. This was about gathering as much information. Which should then allow them to make their next move. Knowledge is power and Kurotsuchi stands by this notion. It was a proven fact. He was unequivocal when it comes to such matters. With knowledge comes power, in which he can exercise in a multitude of ways. While they were being escorted, Kurotsuchi made note of the formation of guards around Mithrandir and Maleldil. They sure as hell were being cautious which was understandable. It was now up to Kurotsuchi to ensure that no harm befell his siblings. Soon enough they arrived at their destination. The technological superiority of the Vanir once again proving impressive. The machina guards were truly a site to behold. And the young man was loving it thus far. Here there were now at the building. The doors opened as if on queue and inside they went.

It was show time now. Despite the beauty and wonder of the artificial intelligence. The peculiar lighting and its colours. Kurotsuchi knew he needed to be on his game. He was a little more relaxed now, but remained vigilant. His Byakugan deactivated as he so wished it to be. His killing intent was no more and his mood reflected this. Kurotsuchi walked along with a smile on his face. He could hardly explain it, but something about this felt ominous and it excited him. What will they now find? Walking into what can only be described as the throne room. Kurotsuchi took note of all that was present inside of it. The masked figures, the single eye made him feel more assured. He'd come across it during his studies with Najmec. Not too far away was a certain individual ready to greet them. This one appeared to be held in high regard among them. A king perhaps? "Gorah, so that's his name. Well, I will have to thank him later". Kurotsuchi thought while listening to the conversation. This stranger was quite the sight to behold. Dressed in armour, looking like he's ready for a fight at any given moment. At the same time he looked beaten, as if he'd been carrying a heavy burden for a thousand years. The leader of his people soon stepped down from the throne. His first action was to approach Kurotsuchi immediately. Before long his hand was set upon the young warrior's face. His hand guiding his head from left to right as a matter of inspection. Kurotsuchi raised his left eyebrow in a quizzical manner, curious. What was he to make of it all? Gorah's report was a little brief, perhaps too direct for Kurotsuchi's liking. And royal blood was brought back to Raan? The ivory haired warrior's eyes narrowed. His heart almost skipped a beat. No, he was certain it did. He glanced over his shoulder at Maleldil and Mithrandir. What the fuck?

Kurotsuchi was home, and goodness gracious he was confused. What did it all mean? As the ruler gave his orders to Gorah. Kurotsuchi hissed before lifting his right hand. His index finger pointed upwards while wagging left to right. This was Kurotsuchi's way of saying no to the orders given. "I don't foresee us going anywhere right now. Nor will you be keeping those two cooped up in your private quarters. We're young but not stupid. In addition to all this, I refuse to take part in your political babble. Before shit gets said, I'd like to know just who are ya, and how'd you even know my name?". Kurotsuchi appeared to be on a very short fuse. Never mind finding his people again. Something did not sit right with him. The safety of his siblings were paramount. The differences between their species did not matter to him. He was raised with a Furyan and Aesirian as his siblings. And he has another nine waiting for them out in the distance. There was also the mention of another possible enemy. This made Kurotsuchi even more suspicious now. "We've travelled along way, the least you can do is offer us food, drinks and a place to rest". He was unapologetic and was downright disrespectful. The shock was evident on the faces of the guards that had been walking with them.

Kurotsuchi’s words carried a weight that neither Maleldil nor Mithrandir anticipated; perhaps he was royalty.

The three were escorted very privately and very carefully to private quarters that seemed to almost be a private dimension inside of the city. They were in a place that was clearly something only certain individuals had access to. It was a room at the very top of the cave, or underground city, much like a highrise. There was an enormous window from which one could view the entirety of Raan, and all high places in the upper “mountains” near the rocky ceiling. There, Mithrandir and Maleldil were held captive as Kurotsuchi was led to another room in the condo. The room was all grey rocky stone, with writings all along it. Mithrandir and Maleldil stood in the center, with slender chakra bars emitted from the ground surrounding them in a small prison at the center of the room. They watched as their brother was led through double doors into another and more pleasant looking part of the condo.

“My name is Andular, Kurotsuchi. You might say I’m your uncle” he chuckled as he led Kuro to the next room.
Much to the surprise of Mithrandir, the room was filled with plant life. Mithrandir could not see inside the room, but he could always connect with plant life, even from other worlds. Concentrating, he began to merge his senses with those of the plants inside of the garden, and soon it was almost as though he were in the room. He had not yet gotten to the point where his consciousness could take over plants, but with enough practice someday even this would be a possibility. For now, he could vaguely follow the two figures as they remained in the range of the plants all around.

The room was indeed an indoor garden filled with plants that it was clear could only survive in the rare conditions the room provided. Very little liveliness existed outside the cave, and in other areas of the city. Though the city was definitely technologically advanced, it was lacking in geniuine life forms outside of the Vanirians. Mithrandir had a natural sense and eye for such things. He noticed very few animals and plants in general throughout the three level of Raan. He deduced the Vanirians felt the need to be conservative with other life forms and their own species given their resources were obviously not in abundance. A queer but very sensible question came to the Aesirian as his subconscious mind spread itself throughout the plant life in the room - just why were the Vanir living in this cave as opposed to the outside world? Surely if they were to inhabit the space outside they’d be the dominant force… right?
Was there perhaps an apex predator of sorts that they didn’t know about? Perhaps that glowing cat-beast he’d encountered in the forest… But then again he’d seen a female Vanirian riding one when they’d gotten captured at the bridge. Something didn’t add up. In  any case, he was sure there were to be things revelaed in this “private” conversation with Kurotsuchi that he was effectively eaves dropping on.

“I suppose you want to know what’s going on, who I am, who you are… and who your “friends” are.
I’ve nothing to hide from you, Kurotsuchi, and I know you must be afraid. But dear child I must warn you… Sometimes the truth is scarier than the lies we’ve been told. Sometimes those lies protect us; the pain and ignorance being the price to pay for bearing the full burden of the full truth.
Nevertheless… It is a burden that is your birthright to bare.”

Andular led Kurotsuchi throughout the pink, purple, and yellow garden, many strange and bizzare looking “plants” bursting out of the ground with a randomness that made them look like they were scuplted there by an untalented artist. The room was dark at the ceiling, but there were crystals along the ground that gave off an eerie white glow that lit the room. The two came to sit on a bench that was somewhat in the middle of it all. Guards were along the eight panels of the massive room that covered about 100 meters in width and length.

“Where shall we start… Ah, yes, the universe. Every story has a beginning after all! You must throw away anything you think you know in order to receive what I’m to say. History is a record of what happened - according to the winners. The Vanir, your people, have been the winners, for the most part, of universal history; but this was not always the case.

In the beginning, there were the Gods, and the Elementals. Both groups worked together for the benefit of the nine realms.  The Gods created and cultivated life; the Titans managed and controlled the elements of the cosmos in order to sustain life.
It came to pass, that the gods brought forth a race in their own likeness -the Aesir. The Elementals likewise brought forth the Vanir. Now these two tribes were the most powerful in all the nine realms. The Aesir were given the task of cultivating life, and the Vanir with developing civilizations. The founding patriarch of the Vanir was Nimrod; the founding patriarch of the Aesir was Thenin. The two shared a bond closer than brothers. However, the two Kings came to a disagreement on how to govern the realms. Thenin desired that all life flourish on its own, and that lower life forms be given free will to decide their own fate. Nimrod believed that all lower life forms ought to do obeisance to the Aesir and the Vanir, and serve them.

This disagreement led to war.

For three millenia, the Aesir and the Vanir have been at odds with one another, as have the Gods and the Titans - over supremacy over the nine realms. The Aesir dominated by their sheer power advantage, but all of that would soon come to an end.
Nimrod’s grandson, Abraxas, would be the first Vanirian to change the tide of the war. You see where the Aesir had power and might; the Vanir had wisdom and insight. Abraxas discovered the secret to the power of the Aesir and how to defeat them without raising a finger. He blocked out their rainbow star, the source of their power. All living things on their world went into a state of stasis, and the planet itself folded in as a protective mechanism; no one can enter or go out of it.

The next thousand years, the Vanir colonized the universe and created the most powerful empire the nine realms has ever seen. We had breakthroughs in science, medicine, astronomy, and all branches of engineering. The Vanir achieved unparalleled excellence in the golden thousand years of their reign. However… when Abraxas blocked out the star of the Aesir, he awakened an ancient evil kept below the nine realms; the Titans. Beings comprised of various matter and energy that the universe was originally made of, who’d been cast out by the gods before the creation of the Aesir or Vanir. These beings feed on worlds, Kurotsuchi… And they fed on ours.
The greed for power had already crippled the kingdom of Abraxas from within; the emergence of the Titans was the finishing blow to our once mighty galactic empire. Less than 5% of the Vanir survived the war…”

Andular paused for a moment to take a deep and mysterious glance into the eyes of the young prince.

“According to ancient tradition, the Titans could be stayed by child sacrifice. Once a century, twelve of the most prominent races would come together and offer a child of unusual potential to the Collector; the servant of the Titans.
In exchange for the sacrifice, the worlds of these races would be kept alive. You and your siblings were the latest batch to be offered to the Titans as sacrifices. However, yours was a special batch, Kurotsuchi. The twelve kingdoms of the ninth realm came together to carefully pick each and every one of you. Inside of you twelve are the hopes and dreams of each of your worlds respectively. We believed in you to escape; to find us.
But you… Kurotsuchi… are more than gifted. You are th-”

Before he could finish, an alarm went off in the room, every guard inside recognizing what it meant apparently, and stiffening up with a unusual terror.

“Sire, there’s been a leak at the west gate of the first level.”

“What’s the status” Andular said, holding his composure.

“We have one casualty reported; but the situation is being handled.”

Andular rose up, now looking annoyed, and headed toward the exit, his hand reaching for a blade at his side as though preparing to jump into battle himself.

Dragon Up?
Crow Young

A

s the group walk the young Furyan had kept his guard up, and at any time words were exchange for the aliens that capture them. He would activate his eyes that only see the truth in a brief conversation that allows him to determine the information was true or not.

Life, and technology of stuff you never thought would have existed they seen with there own eyes. Kurotsuchi Maleldil and Mithrandir was allowed to walk amongst these people, and see all they had to offer. Trust was the one thing that came to mind that and the fact they promise to experiment on Furyan. That didn't sit well even though he didn't say much he was counting the number of people he would have to kill.

Sacrifices, Gods, Elementals, and Titans it didn't matter no one had asked him did he wish to die. Besides, he just woke up, and he didn't wish to swiftly exit the world due to history. Letting out a sigh Maleldil has allowed things to unfold up to this point, and in all honestly, he wasn't happy to hear this history lesson.

Displease with the current surrounding, and amount of people here Maleldil sigh once more, and said," Trouble you say? Maybe you wouldn't mind allowing us to help you. You don't mind, right? After all, we aren't prisoners."

The Furygan is the dragon eye that some but not all dragons awaken that enables them to have enhanced vision and hypnotic influence. They are able to share the vision with whoever rides them as well as with other dragons no matter the distance through these eyes. In addition, their vision scope is as great as the Byakugan. They can see emotion, and have enhanced hearing and smell as well that enable them to identify specific people. Dragons can quite literally see your soul with these eyes, enabling them to also perceive lies and good/bad people.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Kurotsuchi managed to alleviate whatever stress was about to come their way. He wasn't about to let Mithrandir and Maleldil become prisoners. As a result of his words, all three of them were lead ever so carefully to a private area. The ivory haired warrior took note of his surroundings. The walls, the colour of said walls, and not to mention the design and its writing. There will perhaps be time to study these things properly. Now wasn't the time seeing as they had other pressing matters to contend with. Kurotsuchi figured certain things were protocol, especially with the most recent revelations. Mithrandir and Maleldil were kept separately from the Vanirian prince. The information to be shared was perhaps for his ears only. Mithrandir and Maleldil were imprisoned for a now. Now here he was in another room filled with plant life. A smirk formed before shaking his head. The young man chuckled before coming to a stop. Kurotsuchi was well aware of Mithrandir's connection to plant life. And if they knew anything about Mithrandir and his people. Then they would also know all about their ability when it comes to communicating or use plants to their advantage. Was this intentional? Whatever it was, Kurotsuchi was more concerned about learning more about his current predicament. Andular was about to tell Kurotsuchi a story. The young man was hoping to learn something substantial. Based on Andular or his uncle's words, he knew this would be something ginormous. This truth or whatever it is got Kurotsuchi's attention. He simply nodded at Andular as a sign to proceed. As the man led the way, Kurotsuchi followed close by. Soon enough the uncle and nephew found themselves a seat. A place where both could rest easy while sharing information. Kurotsuchi figured that this was the time to be silent and listen.

Kurotsuchi rolled his eye upon hearing what led to the war. The story thus far was fascinating. A tale of greed, stupidity and misunderstandings. It was cautionary to say the least. The story while interesting was also hurtful. Kurotsuchi felt his anger building up inside him, his blood was beginning to boil figuratively. The titans are world eaters and according to Andular, only a mere five percent of his own people remains? This was unacceptable. It was at this point Kurotsuchi felt the need to do something about this. "I am the what?!". The interruption was just bad timing. At least now he knew a little bit more about his role in all this. Kurotsuchi listened to the quick debrief given to Andular and by extension himself. The young warrior stood up a sighed as Andular moved and made his exit. He was curious to know what was coming. But at this present time, it would be prudent to check in with Maleldil and Mithrandir. Moving back into the next room where they were being held. Kurotsuchi walked up to the caged birds and shook his head. "Based on what we heard just now, I should probably have them execute you. Alas! I'm not so foolish but this has certainly put somethings into motion. We will discuss this further in a little while. For now, I want to ensure that we're not all caught off guard. You two will be under my command for now. That should make the others feel a bit more comfortable about your presence. As for you Mithrandir, try to remain incognito". Kurotsuchi was fully aware that incognito and Mithrandir didn't belong in the same sentence. The man was too rash for his liking. Mighty but shit for brains at times. Andular's story made sense when comparing Kuro and Mith. In any case though, what was so special about this batch? Kurotsuchi suddenly had a thought as he stood there looking at Maleldil and Mithrandir. "We need to get the others here and soon. I don't think they're safe where they are. And from what I'm told, we're all a symbols now. I dislike this politics behind it all, but screw it".

Kurotsuchi had so many things going on in his head right now. It was difficult trying to keep on track with it all. "Ultimately, I'm going to make a few changes around here. Not only that, but I'm going to rid the realms of these titans. They will fall before me, and when this happens, I will return my people from the ashes. The Aesir and Vanir will right whatever wrongs or issues they had. As for you Maleldil, you either wake the fuck up and stand with us. If not then I dare say I will personally end your life. Its about time you brought something to the table. We're counting on you to be useful for once". One thing was certain, Kurotsuchi believed he was capable of doing everything he stated. He wasn't sure how the others felt about it, but now might be a good time to talk things through.

Emotion.

Hearing of the story told by Andular made every cell in Mithrandir’s body vibrate. It was a combination of excitement and feelings of betrayal. Betrayal by who? It was difficult to say exactly. Kurotsuchi and Mithrandir were natural enemies. They were two sides of the same soul; from opposing brother tribes. The tribes that had been assigned the task of populating and managing life in the universe couldn’t manage their own relationship. The confident joy Andular expressed at the memory of taking down the Aesir. Of finally figuring out how to rid themselves of their only insurmountable enemy that then allowed them to play gods with the rest of the universe. The imagination of Mithrandir was dense and real. Every thought he imagined affected his physiology, and effected it strongly. As Andular spoke Mithrandir could feel the splendor of the Aesir. The divine world and edenic paradise that madeup their kingdom. He’d never seen another Aesirian or wherever it was they came from, but in his heart he imagined. Dense green trees, oceans with no end, sunsets that lasted for days, a sky filled with over 400 colors. To imagine such a race all eradicated in one day; it was unfathomable. Kurotsuchi walked into their room as Andular and the guards hurried out and flew down towards the lower realm where the intruders had been spotted.
Kuro came in boasting of his confidence that one day those intergalatcit planet eaters would be brought to their knees and everything made right. In the moment it did nothing but stir a rage in Mithrandir that he could not yet articulate. He hated the Vanir at this moment; every single one of them. The arrogance to kill off an entire species solely to rule more of the universe was an unspeakable crime to him. His hopes and dreams of meeting beings like himself was shattered, and the agony of that what he could explain to himself or anyone else.
As his cells swelled to greater and greater size and intensity of radiation, the minor irritation he’d had been building up with Maleldil was proportionally increased. Mithrandir’s eyes glowed red, and his skin, still golden, began to sparkle and radiate a to the point where he was clearly the brightest thing in the room. The lightning bars that surrounded the two brothers disappeared instnatly as there seemed to be a power surge that knocked out most of the power in Raan. The three brothers were left in the dark for a moment, Mithrandir the only light they could currently see. Screams were heard outside of the apartment, but nothing was as loud as the glare and eye contact that was now shared between the Vanirian prince and his counterpart brother. Violent intent was not something Mithrandir had ever looked at Kurotsuchi with, and it was a strange thing for them both no doubt. It could clearly be seen that he would not be coming under any “authority” of Kurotsuchi, though it seemed everything that breathed in Raan desperately desired to. No words needed to be said at this time, though discussion at some point would be inevitable. Mithrandir was clearly in a state of mind far different than his usual; and that was dangerous. In the blink of an eye, he blasted out of the room via the windows and flowed towards the area where the intruders supposedly were. He did this not to play superman, but to find Andular.

Doing the math in his head… The world in which the Aesir were frozen still existed. If he survived… could there not also be other survivors nearby? It was worth scowering the universe if he had to in order to find out. As he flew down, weaving in and out of pipelines that madeup most of the technology sector, he remembered his ten other siblings. They were younger, weaker, and more vulnerable. For their sake, he could not go off on some conquest without knowing they would be safe. Najmec was brilliant, and theophania the most lethal at hand to hand combat; but there was a stark difference between when he and Kuro were there; and when they were not. In his mind at this time, he and Kurotsuchi were at odds. They were not enemies by choice, but perhaps fate had other plans. This tribal instinct inside of Mithrandir was perhaps much stronger than he had ever beleived it could be. His family were the twelve; always were and always would be. And yet something deeper inside of him made him anti anything that threatened the prosperity and survival of the Aesir. He’d noticed a similar noble, patriotic and almost messianic zeal shared by Kurotsuchi in regards to the Vanir. His pale-skinned brother was likely just behind him or giving a royal lecture to Maleldil about being a brat.

Mithrandir didn’t have a mind like Kurotsuchi to think twenty steps ahead; he only liked to do 3-5 at a time. And right now the first step was to find Andular and squeeze the location of the Aesir out of him; he cared for nothing else. He knew the Vanir were capable of wounding if not killing him, but he didn’t care. He felt more invincible right now than ever before.

The lowest level of Raan was where the generators that powered the city were kept. It made sense seeing as they were so far underground that virtually nothing of substantial size could reach them save for from the ceiling; than the intruder would have three cities to get through in order to reach it. The ground was marble, and all along side everywhere was rocky protrusions that one would expect to be on the sides of a cave. The third floor was shockingly flat as well as vast. Two hundred meter marble field with large machines (generators). There were twenty four generators total. Six to the north, east, south and west. Each one was fifty meters in height, and had transparent glass rectangle on each side of it (there were six sides total). Inside of the glass could be seen a constant stream of blue fire; chakra. Bone-laced tentacles protruded from these generators to the ceiling above them which supported the first city of Raan. This was as practical as you’d expect from a race endowed with brilliance.
Mithrandir landed to the very edge of the south, shirtless and ripped brown pants with black boots. In the distance, he spotted a group of over twenty Vanirian soldiers that seemed to be fighting a creature of some kind. Mithrandir floated forward at a moderate pace in order to get a good look. The creature was not alone. It appeared there was a hole in the wall just behind the six generators to the north, and out of them were crawling out numerous creatures. They came out of the hole and crawled down the generators. As they made their way down to take the lives of the soldiers below, more reinforcements came in. Mithrandir stopped about ten meters behind the battle, looking for Andular. As he looked, he couldn’t help but notice the unusually powerful physical prowess these creatures displayed.

The lie of Neverland Alien10

Each alien was about six meters in width (none stood fully erect). They had what appeared to be six legs, three on each side, all black. Their heads were about six feet in length, no eyes seen - only a large tray of teeth. Their tale seemed to be their most powerful weapon, striking faster than almost anything Mithrandir had ever seen.
Though impressed, Mithrandir was a bit surprised these creatures were giving the Vanir any trouble at all, knowing what they were capable of. That’s when he saw it. A Vanirian soldier crawled away from the battle seen, clearly wounded. He moved towards the glowing Mithrandir, as if seeking solace for his dying moments. He cried out a great cry of pain and anguish, implying that when he was impaled a poison of somekind had been transmuted. Mithrandir knelt towards the man to touch and heal him when the unthinkable happened…

The man crawled on his belly until he came to Mithrandir’s feet. As the two touched hands, something ripped out of the man’s back, as though he’d given birth backwards, and screeched out the cry’s of first life. The creature had somehow… impregnated the Vanirian when killing him. The baby alien emerged from the now deceased Vanirian, three meters from Mithrandir’s face. The creature immediately sprung towards Mithrandir, only to be instantly vaporized by a blast of red energy. Energy control was not something Mithrandir had mastered, but when he got emotional enough, everything new abilities seemed to emerge. Confident as always in his abilities - he felt unease at what he’d just seen. Just as he arose, still about ten meters outside the real fight, he turned around to see himself surrounded by six full-grown aliens.
