Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
AND HE WAS GOD

Mithrandir leaned upon the branch of a tree as the cries of demons could be heard screeching all throughout the 500 meter forest. Mithrandir had summoned a forest technique in the midst of an already densely populated forest outside the city. This forest was all that stood between the main city Yardin, and the population of vagabonds, criminals and innocent poor that inhabited it. Managing the branches, spikes and roots below, he continued to entangle and crush to pieces the vampires that pressed on to the walls of the city. Mithrandir was clothed in all black attire and covered with a golden four-sided mask with a lion, eagle, man and bull. The trees that he had summoned trumped the 80 meter trees of the natural forest by double in size, manifesting the largest oaks that anyone on that world had ever seen. The full extent of the powers of either Mithrandir, Kurotsuchi or Najmec were not to be expressed at any point - this was a law given them by their father Cthulhu. Yet still, to neutralize the threat of this strange zombie army - all three had to pull out power they’d yet to express since their sixteen years of living and being raised on this world. Mithrandir stood high above the oaks, being the team captain of the situation as he held complete control over the environment he’d terraformed. The army sent in by the Yardin government had fallen mostly helpless to the army of the undead, and the citizens within were being evacuated as the battle continued. This was fourteen hours in…

Mithrandir did not possess the vision of Kurotsuchi, but his feelings and sensory were transferred through the hundreds if not thousands of mighty 160 meter oaks freely at his disposal at the moment. The ground beneath it for at least one hundred meters deep was dominated by the roots of his trees, each being so enormous in size as to be capable of leveling a village. He could feel what was going on below, and one hundred meters below him or so were Kurotsuchi and Najmec. Mithrandir continued to crush, impale and entangle as many of the undead as possible, him watching in the distance as another hoard approached. This undead army had come out of nowhere sixteen years ago, the exact time that Cthulhu had found and adopted the three boys as infants. A meteor shower had come to Yardin and inside of it a strange ship. Inside of that ship was unleashed an army of creatures straight from hell. Capable of turning whomever they bit into undead like themselves, and capable of enduring almost any physical injuries save for decapitation and incineration. Killing off forty percent of an already fleeting population was impressive for only sixteen years of war. Scouts couldn’t tell whether or not the army of the undead was growing or coming to extinction with all of their efforts. What they did know however is that they needed a weapon against the army that would finish this once and for all; these three, who’d lived in obscurity in the wilderness with a strange old man - were the answer to that prayer.

“Kurotsuchi! Fall back into higher territory, there’s more coming! Naj - aerial attack before they enter the forest!”

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Eyes closed, senses sharp, the sheer excitement caused the hair on the back of his neck to stand up. The young man listened carefully, while also feeling the movements of Mithrandir's creation. Kurotsuchi was always amazed by Mithrandir's capabilities. Thinking back on things, each one of them appear to have certain unique features. Kurotsuchi was still learning more and more about the extent of his powers. Its all about unlocking what he feels is carefully locked away. Here he was kneeling down on a branch before Mithrandir. The monsters that they came to face off with were most odd. Kurotsuchi would love to spend more time studying them. He had a feeling that such a thing wasn't possible. Then again he could easily create his own openings. Shape the battlefield and change the tide of the battle with his own hands. The young man smirked and stood up, his eyes finally opened. His eyes were now as pale as pearls. Veins bulged at the side of his head, announcing that his Byakugan was now active. He could see far more in depth than most. His vision allowing him to see beyond the forest, taking note of what was transpiring beyond it. As it stands, Kurotsuchi will have to hold back any urge to cut loose. He was disappointed by it all, but orders were orders. Not that he was adverse to ignoring those orders for the sake of adventure. Mithrandir bellowed at the pale eyed male which irritated him a little. He was more than ready to take on a few mindless creatures. Instead he decided to withdraw as was asked. Kurotsuchi raised his head and looked above upward at Mithrandir. And without warning the young man took flight rapidly soaring upwards. His next stop was a mere five meters to the right of Mithrandir.

"What are we doing here? Its pointless trying to simply contain this mess. This plague needs to be wiped out. The longer we leave them the worse this becomes. Before long they won't just be a threat to the Yardinians but to everything in their wake". Kurotsuchi almost acted on impulse but held back. This was also a time to truly observe and learn something. Rushing in without a plan certainly wasn't his style at all. He was however looking forward to what Naj had to offer. He was more unique than even Mithrandir and Kurotsuchi. This was Kurotsuchi's own opinion fuelled by his fascination with Naj. His potential seemed almost infinite. Having Mithrandir and Naj around, not to mention the others always motivated him. "So whats the plan now? Sit back and watch while ya whip em into shape?" Kurotsuchi giggled a little and looked over at Mithrandir. "Say...why did the old man forbid us waging war with these creatures? His reasoning remains a mystery to me most days. Its like..." Kurotsuchi did not finish his statement choosing to hold back a little. Maybe Mithrandir will understand his feelings towards the current situation.

Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
AND HE WAS GOD

Spoiler:

Kurotsuchi and Mithrandir walked into the upper room/attic of the wooden house that was their compound and home. The two young men were summoned after dinner to speak about the new threat that had spread to the very edges of the Yardinian country. Given Najmec’s ability to greatly alter his his appearance and fit in with the various races within the nation. The glowing Mithrandir and pail Kurotsuchi simply would never fit in. Both men were obviously built to be warriors and would attract too much attention. Furthermore, they were walking history. Unbenoucned to them, their origins lie in the two most infamous and powerful races in the universe; extinct races, as well. Najmec had gone into the city and made something of a fake life there in order to gain intel and keep a pulse on what was going on inside of the walls. He regularly communicated with his two brothers and their father Cthulhu. Since he’d gone into the city, Mithrandir and his brother Kurotsuchi had been training together to eventually oppose the threat that the government inside the walls had predicted could wipe out their country within six months if allowed to reach the walls.

“You will not get in the way of the military in their pursuit of these demonic beasts. Both of you must continue here and wait until the time is right. The kingdom is not ready to recognize the kind of power you two wield; it would threaten the camouflage that Yardin had fought so hard to maintain throughout the galaxy.”

The old man sat at his desk as he spoke, the rain pouring outside. There was a fireplace to the right of Mithrandir which made up the only light in the room, Kuro standing two feet to his left and both of them in front of their father. Kurotsuchi being the more emotionally composed nodded, understanding the danger and keeping his thoughts to himself. Mithrandir was not yet capable of such feats of self-control.

“Father… this army has no chance against these beasts and you know it. Kuro and I could wipe out the entire hoard before it gets past the mountains.”

Mithrandir’s body always had an ambient and humming glow to it, clearly distinguishing him from all other living beings. It was as though he were literally a star-person. He wore tight white shorts with no drawstring and was shirtless revealing a ripped upper body. His red blood hear was neck height at most, neatly cut, and his purple irisis were 1.5 times that of a human’s making them incredibly piercing. His emotions always correlated with an increase in the glow of his body as well as the silent vibrational aura that he always carried. He sparkeld continually as well, Kurotsuchi mocking him often for this fairy-ish quality; and at the same time it gave wonder to exactly what it is he might be in reality.

Cthulhu, however, was never too impressed with any of the children; or at least he never showed it. He was a lean caucasian looking male with a pointy white goatee, and a neatly trimmed suit that he wore daily, no matter the weather. He had an intensity to his glare that was far more frightening than that of Mithrandir who was only accidentally scary when engaged.

“You… will stand down, Mithrandir. We have no clue where the hordes are coming from or what their intentions are. The sole purpose for our being here and training is to that we can steal the imperial ship and leave this world in tact. Your brother is days away from gaining access to the armory where he will be able to program himself into the ship - than we are off. Do nothing to interrupt this plan, Mithandir. Kurotsuchi - you are to stand back from unleashing to great of force in front of the villagers. If they come looking for you two, our days of living in peace in the woods are over.
The next hoard is predicted to be coming tomorrow night, the demons have reached the mountains. If they get past the army that will be waiting there, both of you will stand in line to prevent them from moving through the forest and into the gates. Mithrandir, use your abilities to disguise your and Kuro’s presence as much as possible, and make the fight quick or get out of there. Leave no evidence. Meeting adjourned.”

Mithrandir looked down as the hoards rushed into the forest he had full command over. He knew that he had the situation completely under control, but the barriers the old man had put in place had made them feel trapped. How much was too much? If he wanted to he could kill everything in the forest with a snap of his fingers. Kurotsuchi appeared five meters to his left, the usual cavalier attitude radiating after his brother as he awaited Mithrandir’s next move.
The pursuit to find out the unknown was insatiable in both Mithrandir and Kurotsuchi. Primarily because they knew they came from distant worlds and races that there seemed to be no trace of on Yardin or in their own memories. Given their seemingly vast and unique abilities that were completely unlike each others and yet complemented so well - it was often a discussion of the two young men. Who were they and where did their people reside? This mystery always caused Mithrandir and Kurotsuchi to become ever so excited at every new arrival of cargo or prisoner from the ships that would often come to Yardin. Every time the ships were seen, thoughts of escape raced through the minds of the two boys, especially Mithrandir. Even Najmec, less emotional than Mithrandir, showed great interest in exploring the stars. There was little doubt that these demonic leeches had anything to do with their destinies and the mysteries that kept them up at night; but it beat the mundane nature of hunting and growing food. Mithrandir wanted a challenge; he wanted a war. And he would get one.

Mithrandir looked through the four-sided golden mask at his brother for a moment and nodded. For a slight moment, his entire body went from radiating the usual golden ambience to that of dark red; then back to to gold. In that moment, the trees began to come alive in an entirely new way. All of the leeches of the ground were instantly swallowed up by a small ocean of roots that emerged ferociously and impaled them by the tens. Those creatures which were climbing up the mastodon trees were instantly impaled by the tree bark and obliterated. Not needing to speak a word over the loud sounds of his trees trampling what remained of the hoard, Mithrandir took off to the sky and towards the mountains one hundred and fifty meters in the distance. Past this point, no Yardinian had ever been…

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Hold your tongue and observe for but a minute. Kurotsuchi found himself doing just that. His ocular powers allowed him to look even deeper than most. This was now a waiting game to say the least. The young Kurotsuchi thought back to the old man's orders. He seemed adamant about their situation. He was especially explicit in his orders too. Neither Mithrandir or himself were to create a fuss. Even more incredible, they needed to bide their time and allow Naj to do his thing. All the children remained unique in their own way. Black lightning crackled about his body as Mithrandir went to work. His trees proved time and time again just how powerful they are. He had such great control, a sense of complete dominion over his abilities. And yet it felt like this was merely the beginning. Kurotsuchi knew what the mission was all about. But the situation at hand calls for some sort of a distraction. He soon remembered one of Mithrandir's responsibilities. His brother was suppose to hide their presence the best he could. But considering he was currently so focused on the task at hand. Could he fall victim to his own excitement? Kurotsuchi wanted to create a distraction somehow. The skies and weather was his to command. He wanted to stir the clouds and create a thunderstorm. One noticeable enough to grab the attention of their enemies and the Yardinians as a whole. Now wasn't the time for such extravagant displays. The pale eyed phenom watched as Mithrandir took off without much warning.

"It would appear phase one is complete. I suppose I best follow too. Lets hope Naj comes through and probably assimilate himself into whatever that ship was. Whats with this whole stealing of a ship deal? Couldn't we have bartered with them a little? Oh fuck it". He thought before he too took off into the distance. Their next destination seems to be the mountains. That is where the army would assemble in order to stand against the horde. For some unknown reason, the old man seemed far too concerned with keeping Kurotsuchi in check. Nevertheless, they were given strict instructions to end the fight as soon as possible. Kurotsuchi's interpretation of "force" may end very different to the old man's. As he and Mithrandir flew towards the mountain, Kurotsuchi quickly caught up. The wind beating against his skin, his hair dancing and his garments ruffled. He did begin to ponder if Maleldil will make an appearance. Then again it could become crowded far too easily. On their way to the mountain, Kurotsuchi could already see that the Yardinian army was in place. He perhaps took note of this long before Mithrandir's own eyes could even perceive such a thing. Not only that but the hoard was on its way. Kurotsuchi admired their determination and desire to cause chaos. Unlucky for them, that's why he and Mithrandir was heading in their direction.

Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
AND HE WAS GOD

Mithrandir and Kurotsuchi flew into the wilderness miles outside of the Yardinian city. Within an hour they were past the farthest that could be seen from the wall tours of the city and into a dense forest. The sun was hours from beginning to set and the two wonder boys took atop a high tree to rest for a second and make their plan. Mithrandir was the one who typically charged ahead and led missions, and his brother the silent type who stood back and criticised when necessary. The two made a remarkable team, as noted by their father Cthulhu. Though growing up they had a knack for fighting with each other, they’d come to have a very unique bond through a shared desire to discover themselves. Mithrandir, possibly even more than Kurotsuchi, wanted to find others like him; of his species. He held a heartfelt belief that his parents and family were waiting on him on some distant world, and he simply needed to return there at some point.

He removed his strange mask and allowed his purple eyes to gaze upon the red sun of Yardin as it began to sink from sky to ground. The real reason they’d stopped is Kurotsuchi’s byakugan had picked up an enormous object up ahead that caught his eye as being made of material unlike anything he’d ever seen. The byakugan was primarily designed to see through objects and identify chakra. However, per Kurotsuchi’s explanation to Mithrandir, there was an enormous ship some five hundred meters ahead, and his eyes could not pierce whatever dense material it was comprised of. He did note, however, seeing  the presence of an enormous chakra source; one greater than any he’d ever seen on Yardin. Neither he nor Mithrandir were alarmed at this, but definitely ready for the fight that was inevitable. Ships always excited Mithrandir, as they represented a way home; wherever home was. Given that Mithrandir did not possess a dojutsu, much less the ability to see the living dead, he would be at a sensory deficit in finding the vampiric creatures that surely had emerged from the ship somehow. Kurotsuchi, however, had quickly confirmed that as the sun had come down and night overtook day, these demons had indeed began crawling out of this ship like roaches crawl out when the lights go out.

Now was the time for a plan of action. Neither of them had prepared for this, nor did they have Najmec to run diagnostics on the ship or figure out how exactly to go about this in an intelligent and efficient manner. Mithrandir knew how to create and how to destroy with what he created. Lately he’d been practicing giving animation to plant life and creating soldiers that did his bidding separate from his pulling the strings directly. Cthulhu had trained him to use use his energy to mix with plants and give them extraordinary intelligence, power and dexterity that they normally would not have. In addition, he began to create in them a sense of life. Mithrandir and Kurotsuchi had trained together everyday since they could remember, and no one knew them like they knew each other. At this point the two were largely unaware of just how powerful they were compared to most life forms in the universe at large, but they knew they were certainly above average. It was a benefit they could not yet appreciate to have one another to bounce ideas off of and to test techniques with. As of late, they’d been spending a bit more time apart than normal, both of them having more private time with the old man. He seemed to have a sense of urgency lately that he’d never had before. Almost like he was preparing for them to be gone for a while. Given this, he’d really been pushing Mithrandir in his private sessions to control and master the control of the lower level life forms he was able to give animation and use. He got to the point where he was even able to add his Au into simple things such as rocks, and create soldiers from thence. This among other things, were variables that Kurotsuchi would not have been aware of given recent events. Both of them had techniques and abilities up their sleeve that the other likely had not yet seen, which would make this battle more exciting than any other previous. Most of the time they went in with pretty much a 1-2 punch and leveled opposition with minimal effort. The sheer numbers of the demons now moving in their direction at rapid speed meant that drastic and aggressive measures would need to be taken now. The plan was simple, kill everything and get inside that ship. Whatever was in there was responsible for these undead creatures emerging. In addition, they could wait for Najmec to arrive and take over the ship, giving them a quick out of this world and into the dreamy universe.

Mithrandir pressed his hands together as he looked into the distance. He could not sense the undead, but he could feel through the one hundred meter trees in the forest the army racing ahead. Mithrandir was dressed in all black, and a gold aura of ambient and vibrating light glowed off of him and his clothes as he looked onward.

“The plan is simple. Lets get to that ship, as fast as possible and kill every single one of these things in the process.
I’ve got some new techniques that even you haven’t seen yet, so brace yourself.”

Mithrandir smirked, knowing Kurotsuchi was rolling his eyes at the suggestive statement.

“I know you saw a thousand, but I sense a little more than even that. They all run down the center for the most part, but they will part ways when we begin the assault. I’m going to split the earth down the middle and try and make a dent in the first two hundred, using my roots to cut off those behind them. They will flee to the trees on the wings, and I’ll have a surprise for them. Basically, I will cover the first 70% of these animals; while I do that, fly up ahead and take on the last hoard that’s guarding the ship; we’ll catch up by the time you hit the remaining one hundred or so.”
Speaking in percentages was something he’d become accustomed to with Najmec always giving the data points before each battle. Without further speach, Mithrandir took off from the tree and floated into an expanse where the wood was a lot less populated, and the incoming hoard could more easily be seen. No doubt up ahead they spotted the golden glowing figure hovering one hundred and five meters in the air, staring down on them like Zeus before he struck the sky with lightning. Mithrandir pressed both hands together, and without warning the tree that he once stood one with Kurotsuchi, directly below him five meters, was set ablaze with an invisible energy that could not be seen but certainly felt. Not only that tree, but all trees in front and beside it began shaking with the same force. As this process took place, the ground that was a straight line to the ship was split in two for two hundred meters. The vampires frantically began to latch to safety as they fell into the emerging pit, only to be met with large roots that cut through them like a lightsaber through warm cheese. The terror of this was only escalated as the trees that were smothered in Mithrandir’s Au were transformed into trees 1.5 times their previous size, and given an almost humanoid shape. Six arms on each side sprouted from the trees, as well as two enormous wooden feet that were attached to roots far below the surface. Mithrandir had created an army of living trees. As the vampires were slain by the tens left and right, they met yet another demise as these living trees, which became every tree for two hundred meters, impaled with veracity any escapees who fled to what they once thought was refuge from the earth swallowing them up. Mithrandir calmly, and swiftly floated ahead, both arms extended as he managed the destruction like an orchestrator manages an orchestra; the music was divine.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Kurotsuchi followed closely as they flew towards the threat. They were on course for an head on collision. The male with hair of ivory was beginning to appreciate their predicament. Truth be told, for the longest while now, Mithrandir did more of the heavy lifting. He was able to create life, evidenced by his offspring of trees and plants. Mithrandir was proud of his ability to utilise his creations to his liking. To the point where he often sought to take control of the battlefield. Long before his fellow siblings even had the opportunity to exert themselves. Kurotsuchi often found it boring, mostly because it ended things far too quickly. Still, there was beauty in the way things often transpired. The slaughter, the blood splattered on the barks and leaves. The smell, the sheer delight witnessing the brutality. Did Mithrandir enjoy killing as much as Kurotsuchi liked to witness it? Whatever the case may be, perhaps everyone will have the opportunity to get their hands dirty. Here they were now stationed in the skies, the skies bright as the sun gave it's light. Before long they took it upon themselves to rest, regroup and come up with a viable plan. There was something amiss and Kurotsuchi did not like it. He came across something that was truly fascinating. Seldom did his Byakugan was ever rendered useless. In this situation it wasn't useless, but he was able to discern pretty quickly something problematic. His inability to peer into the vessel meant that there was some form of a block. Whether or not it was done on purpose remains to be seen. They could not afford to take any chances now. Immediately, Kurotsuchi wished for Naj's presence. He wanted to learn more about the ship ahead of them.

The time taken to plan and recuperate saw the sun trade places with the moon. The light from the moon now illuminated the area. Shining eerily bright while setting the tone for what was to come. The creatures of the night responded to the moon. They feared the sun but worshipped the moon. The moon was seen as more merciful to their species. Kurotsuchi quickly chalked up the presence of the demons as a side show. He was curious about the chakra signature and what it meant. Just who or what did it belong to? What kind of a role did it play or will play? He pondered if Mithrandir would take this into consideration before charging in. Kurotsuchi hoped Mithrandir would use the information given to him and formulate a clever plan. Kurotsuchi waited but in the end was let down by Mithrandir's obnoxious ideologies. Kurotsuchi shrugged after hearing Mithrandir's initial words. His right eyebrow raised before proceeding to role his eyes. By now the young man had his arms folded beneath his chest. Kurotsuchi sighed before giving his usual sarcastic remarks. "Don't be a prick now Mithrandir, nobody likes a prick. In all seriousness, can you at least think shit through next time? We don't know what lurks inside that vessel just yet. I think it would be best if we could interrogate one of those creatures. I have my ways of coaxing information out of a subject. It's a fine art, you should try it sometime".   He uttered with a chuckle. Despite what he thought about Mithrandir's plans. Deep down he wanted to simply cut loose and erase the current threat. With that said, he was also a seeker of knowledge. And completely destroying a species is depriving oneself of numerous possibilities. Kurotsuchi wanted to learn as much as possible.

With the hoard bearing down on them, it was time to get serious. Mithrandir's battle plan was sounded good, that was until he showed his greed. "Just what kind of shit is that? You get seventy percent and I take on a measly thirty? Sharing is caring you shiny prick. Screw it, lets get this done and leave this place". Kurotsuchi shrugged knowing what he now needed to do. He too took off like Mithrandir did and moved on ahead. The plan was the plan and they will follow it until they needed to adjust it. With Mithrandir affecting the terrain through the use of his terrifying creations. The ivory haired male ascended and stopped before the rest of the hoard. He was a mere one hundred meters in the sky. Mithrandir at this point was some three hundred meters behind him. And slowly approaching his position. His brother was busy managing the chaos in progress behind him. There he was now, his mood shifted. Veins bulged from the side of his head. His Byakugan activated, his spiky hair along with his happuri headgear made him look all the more ferocious. His arms extended to the side as he began to chant. "Reign over the heavens, watch the earth be torn asunder. Unleash! Ametsuchi Ono!". He chanted with conviction as a poof of smoke appeared around his hands. As the smoke cleared, it revealed a pair of battle axes. Coinciding with this, the heavens responded to the man. Storm clouds gathered meanwhile thunder roared throughout the heavens. Lightning flashed across the skies, illuminating the area in a bright display.

With an axe in either hand, water swirled around one hand and lightning crackled about the other. The war axes were imbued with chakra which corresponded with their elemental natures.
War Axe:
In his left hand Kairyuu otherwise known as the water current. The eighteen inches long shaft/handle is blue(mainly) and white in colour. The heel or toe of the tomahawk shaped axe is white in colour with blue scales. This covers three inches of the shaft, from the heel upwards. The scales closely resemble fish scales which keeps to the theme of the weapon. Looking at the shaft of the weapon, it is likened to life beneath the ocean. The blue of the grip looks like waves constantly crashing down akin to stormy seas. The grip portion of the weapon is seven inches in length, with finger indentations. Moving up to the axe’s belly/haft are designs of a great white shark swimming under water. This is on the right side and on the left side of the haft is the design of a carp with blue and white scales. The haft of the axe is five inches based on where the designs begin and ends. The neck guard of the axe again is the same as the heel of the weapon. It has blue and white scales and is three inches in length. This makes up the eighteen inches long shaft. The shaft is also straight with the heel of the weapon slightly curved facing the outward direction of the blade. The axe’s blade is seven inches wide/long from top to bottom. The blade’s edge/bevel is extremely sharp and is of a crescent moon shape. The bevel is blue like the oceans, the cheeks have fish scale like patterns on either side. The scales are blue and white in colour. The axe’s head has the same design as the weapon’s shaft. A shark and carp are represented on the left and right respectively. The axe has no wedge but has a blunt end that acts as the back of the axe. Its shaped like a shark’s tail and is five inches long from top to bottom and reaches five inches in length.

In his left hand was Kiryuu also known as thunder current. It is the counterpart to its sister blade. The eighteen inches long shaft/handle is dark grey like storm clouds. The heel or toe of the tomahawk shaped axe is dark grey, and on either side of the heel are green tomoe shaped designs. This covers three inches of the shaft, from the heel upwards. The tomoes are representation of the thunder god. The dark grey of the grip looks like storm clouds gathering in the sky. There are also streaks of blue lightning mixed in with the storm clouds. The grip portion of the weapon is seven inches in length, with finger indentations. Moving up to the axe’s belly/haft are designs of a green and yellow dragon. This is on the right side and on the left side of the haft is the design of the thunder god with his war drums. The haft of the axe is five inches based on where the designs begin and ends. The neck guard of the axe again is the same as the heel of the weapon. It has the same green tomoe shaped designs and is three inches in length. The bevel is dark grey like the stormy skies and has yellow streaks of lightning running along it. The cheeks have storm clouds on either side. The clouds look to be lit up by a light show of lightning. The axe’s head has the same design as the weapon’s shaft. The dragon and god of thunder is represented on the left and right respectively. The axe has no wedge but has a blunt end that acts as the back of the axe. Its shaped like a war drum and is five inches long from top to bottom and reaches five inches in length.

Time seemed to have frozen as Kairyuu was swung. The result of which saw huge waves of cascading downwards in order to crush the demons below.

Chapter One: Prodigal Latest?cb=20171029203831&path-prefix=en

Kiryuu was held up towards the skies as lightning chakra was gathered. And without warning the axe was thrown in a ferocious manner. The weapon met with the water before using it as a conductor for electricity. The demons did not only face before crushed and submerged. They were now going to be fried and without any mercy. Once everything had been swallowed up. The thunder axe was summoned back to Kurotsuchi. Meanwhile Kairyuu was used to gather up up the water, along with those caught by it. He simply redirected the direction of the water, transforming it into a narrow flow. Time was ticking, it was all about getting to that ship.

Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
AND HE WAS GOD

Despite Kurotsuchi’s skeptical remarks, Mithrandir stayed focused on the objective, knowing his brother could easily be relied upon to take on whatever force was up ahead. Perhaps a bit childish, Mithrandir paused mid-way on the battlefield and marveled at his creations. Angelic Leech Kings they were called, the unique tree creatures he’d unleashed on the demonic troop. Seven foot tall, four arms each, and a face like that of a flower. All green bodies with incredible physical strength and agility, especially when inside of a forest like they were. He’d mastered the communication between himself and his plant life and could give them a simple sentence of commands, and watch it be carried out with such a complexity that somehow he wondered exactly how his creations were that smart. The mastodon trees simply needed to hold the position and impale all who fled for safety. Within approximately three minutes, Mithrandir had indeed slaughtered 70% of the hoard. He was caught for a moment too long admiring his craftsmanship, however, to notice the god-like strike his brother had summoned on the battlefield that almost trumped his own in size and sheer volume. Mithrandir’s head moved from looking down with amusement to looking up with discomfort as the skies turned black, allowing strikes of teel blue lightning to race across it giving the battlefield a kind of ominous look that made even the Aesirian feel a bit out of his element. Suddenly, he saw Kurotsuchi about fifty meters up ahead wielding twin blades clearly charged with enormous chakra. Mithrandir was only somewhat familiar with Kurotsuchi’s weapons, and wasn’t exactly sure what to expect; certainly not what happened next. A volume of water came down from the sky, summoned by the sword, of which he’d neither predicted nor prepared for. A small lake seemed to be pummeled towards the creatures below, crushing them on impact and spreading a like a tyrannical flood towards Mithrandir’s territory and sinking into the enormous hole that he’d made to split the earth.

Mithrandir wondered if Kurotsuchi had chosen that maneuver as a combination to the fifty meter deep trench Mithrandir had created in the center of the battlefield. He knew more than likely it was Kuro unleashing a terrifying display of power in order to stick his tongue out at Mithhrandir who, as usual, had come on the scene and bullied the situation into a quick decision. His eyes squinted as the sister blade unleashed a torrent of lightning that was so exquisite that it disintegrated the remaining battlefield. The angelic leech kings were instinctually weary of the incoming wave and fled to the tops of trees to avoid their own demise. Mithrandir was impressed, he wasn’t the only one with a few new tricks up his sleeve.

The son of the Morning was not expecting his brother to dispatch of the hoard quite so quickly, and his flew swiftly towards him, he hid his curiosity as to the nature and origin of the blades, and fell fixed on the alien ship ten meters below them. He glided just past his brother and on down to the black entity until he was ground level with it, five meters away. The ship was approximately thirty meters in height, two hundred in circumference, and one hundred in width. It was a ring-shaped ship, all black and made of a strange material that felt soft like moss and at the same time impenetrable. The specific opening was unclear, but Mithrandir walked towards the belly of the ship, standing in the center between the two major rings. He had absolutely no clue what to do next. He couldn’t see from the exterior where exactly the demons were being poured out, nor where exactly this chakra signature Kurotsuchi spoke of could possibly be located. Having no dojutsu was truly a disadvantage at times. Twenty five of his angelic leech kings approached him from behind and formed a neat row of five by five, standing straight at attention directly behind him. Mithrandir wanted as many eyes as possible on the situation. He knew Kuro was just above and likely hovering towards him, but the silence and eeriness of the ship kept him looking forward.

Chapter One: Prodigal Black_10

The red star of Yardin refracted off of the three moons to produce a pink sky that shown down upon the battlefield. There was silence and nothing more for a time, Mithrandir sparkling and radiating as usual, but unusually indecisive in this moment. Without warning, the ship began to ooze out a black metallic substance from the tips of both wings and from the center place. It was as though it were attempting to flood the circular area in which Mithrandir and his leech kings stood, putting him at alarm. Mithrandir floated above the air, as did his army, ready to fight off whatever it was that had been unleashed. Perhaps this goo was what the demons were being spawned from!

He was unsure and watched with carefullness as he floated five meters above and let down five leech kings into the black pool that now filled the ground area. As expected, the goo began to clump together and form a physical structure, or structures. At this point, Mithrandir was certain that this goo was what the demons were comprised of, and lowered the rest of his army down to fight. It appeared fifty humanoid structures were being formed, which would be no problem for his leech kings who each possessed the strength of ten demons. They were lowered into the area tactically, bearing spikes all along their body and ready to attack as these creatures finished forming.

The bodies were all black metallic substance for about thirty seconds until they began to turn almost orange, then tan. He slowly but surely saw a human-looking person emerge as the body of each of these once metallic entities until the transformation was complete. Mithrandir’s eyes widened as he looked intently to see the same familiar face upon all of the fifty persons. They were all…

Najmec.

“Greetings brothers… I apologize for my abscence the past few months; but as promised, my time in the kingdom was not spent in vain.”

The Leech Kings were put at attention, as Mithrandir lowered himself to the ground in confusion to stand two meters in front of the Najmec speaking.

“I amalgamated my consciousness with the ship and been slowly but surely gaining access to the mainframe. I don’t have access to the whole recorded history, but I’ve found the map whoever was running the ship last was using; and I know how to fly it.
The extra clones here; malfunction of a tactical dispersion mechanism the ship has that enhances my self-cloning abilities. Not perfect, but I thought it might be needed in case some of the legions from the kingdom beat you guys here.”

Najmec always spoke with such a cheer in his voice, at time it was hard to believe he was mostly machina. He pointed to the center of the ship, the belly, where an opening was being created before their very eyes.

“Shall we?” he said with a welcoming smile as he moved towards it.

Mithrandir still could not find words. It had suddenly struck him that he was about to leave. To leave the world he’d been raised in and felt was a prison his entire life. This was not just an invitation to a field trip, but to finding out answers to the questions he’d wrestled with his entire life up until this moment. Words were not necessary now; only courage. He followed his brother onto the ship.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

Success. Both himself and Mithrandir proved successful in their endeavours. The ivory haired male remained in the skies above, carefully surveying the area. The storm clouds which gathered and the lightning which streaked across the skies soon subsided. The young man sighed while holding his weapons in either hands. One hand for Kiryuu and the other for Kairyuu. The battle was over so to speak. Up ahead was the large ship which left him as curious as ever. Mithrandir took the lead and headed towards it. Him and his humanoid creations were truly a sight to behold. Kurotsuchi decided to wait and see what Mithrandir may yet discover. His Byakugan soon took notice of the goo gushing from the ship. It was analysed and could already see the familiar traces. Najmec. Whether or not Mithrandir noticed this remains to be seen. Maybe not when one considers his reaction to it all.

Kurotsuchi carried a smirk on his face as Naj and his multitude appeared before him. Kurotsuchi flew forwards quickly closing the gap between them. The young man landed on the ground behind Mithrandir just in time to hear Naj's explanation about the ship. Kurotsuchi had a few questions for Naj and wondered what their brother had to say about it. Mithrandir appeared to be speechless, almost frozen until Kurotshci pushed him in the back. And so Mithrandir followed along with Kurotsuchi. Naj lead the way into the ship but Kurotsuchi had a few questions. "Hey metal core, do ya know why my eyes failed to peer inside this thing?". He said while pointing Kiryuu about the ship. The pale eyed one was his usual playful self. A smile was worn upon his face after seeing Naj after so long.

More words then followed, only this time he was quite serious. "But seriously. I was unable to see what was going on inside the ship. Furthermore, I could see a large mass of chakra, it appeared more like a blur. And for a brief moment, you taking on the goo almost tricked me. Did you find anything else that we ought to know about?". He questioned with a certain degree of authority and seriousness. Kurotsuchi was perhaps the most relaxed and playful of the group. But he also knows that there was a time and place for everything. His thirst for knowledge would not allow him to ignore what was before him. The ship almost represented much more than another piece of equipment Naj can take control of. This could mean freedom.

T

he intelligent life form known as Najmec had brilliantly hacked the system mainframe but yet to recover the motherboard true secrets. Laid within the system was a large number of cryptic data, and codes blocking and preventing the AI known as Najmec to untapped the hidden secrets of this ship.  If Najmec continues to try it take some time for him to gain full access, and decipher the intel. But if Najmec and the others decide to search the ship they may be able to find what the ship was hiding.

Due to Najmec hacking the ship it causes the ship to have a small glitch in power temporary revealing the large chakra source within the ship. Then quickly rebooting it cloaks the massive chakra source from the invaders once again.  Somewhere deep within the vessel was a room branded, and label classified but in an ancient language with the additional warning label saying Project Leviathan.

The humming sounds that the life support system produce couldn't be heard from outside of the room as the room was soundproof. Not to mention the only way into the room was passing through two massive doors built to keep whatever inside in, and lock away. The sturdy door was made up of unknown material, and there wasn't any way to sneak in no crack or anything of that nature. Above all there was only be two ways to enter breaking into the door with {500+ } or password.
Chapter One: Prodigal Tube10

Once within the room you would set into a lab they held one tube filled with liquid and one gray hair male within the tube sleep. It seems whatever was inside was sleep, and hook up to a machine that keeps him both sleep, and alive until the time it would be to awaken him or it.

Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
The Fear of the LordIs the beginning of Wisdom

The ship was vast and spacious.

Neither Mithrandir no Kuro had ever been on a spaceship before, but somehow felt more comfortable and at home there than they’d ever been on the farm back on Yardin 1. It had been three hours since the ship took off into outer space and headed towards wherever Najmec had decided. A clone had gone with Kurotsuchi to discuss whatever, whilst another had gone with Mithrandir. It was clear Najmec intended to leverage the extraordinary abilities of both his brothers in order to enhance the properties of the ship and ensure they reached their destination. Mith had heard something about using the byakugan to link to the ship and gain greater scope of objects around it as Najmec and Kuro had floated upwards towards the main control panels.

The Najmec that’d gone with Mithrandir, however, had led him towards the energy corridor, where he would become familiar with how the ship maintained power; as well as some things Naj had discovered from hacking into the mainframe of the ship. He led Mithtrandir to the way, all the while babbling on as he always did.

“So it would appear whoever was running this ship was quite the traveler. It has logs of traveling to over 369 worlds, 42 galaxies and seven dimensions. Quite remarkable if you think of the time it takes to travel such distances. This vessel must be capable of jumping space-time quite elegantly. Else it would take over 100 million years to go all the places this thing has gone. Anyhow, I’ve learned quite a bit about the worlds and universes around us by looking into the database. It appears we are in what is known as the third dimension. The ship logs that there are nine in all the universe, but that might just be all that was known by whatever species this ship hails from. Different worlds have vastly different perspectives on the size and scope of the universe.

I’ve also found a directory of lifeforms in the database. Quite fascinating actually, over 1,000 recorded species and unique facts about them. It appears the owners of this ship were connoisseurs of life. We have one more level down until we reach the main engine, follow me.”

With that Najmec and Mithrandir entered into an elevator that took them one level lower into the engine of the ship, housed in the belly of the ship but deeply insulated on all sides by metallic panelling. The room was about ten fifteen meters in height, and thirty in width. In the center where two cylinders that rotated continually while being engulfed in a continual blue flame/aura that seemed to be flowing to the top into the rest of the ship, and somehow coming around through the bottom. Mithrandir walked towards the cylinders carefully and curiously. It was obviously an energy source he was not familiar with, but having no dojutsu he could not discern exactly what it was.

“Chakra.” Najmec said, as though he’d read his mind.

“The ship appears to be powered by chakra. You might recall Cthulhu explained it is the energy that Kurotsuchi and other advanced life forms use to control elements and perform techniques of numerous kinds. It appears they somehow utilized it at one point to power this ship. When I found the ship, the circulation was broken but there were still chakra reserves left to power the voyage for sometime. After re-aligning everything, I was confident this vessel could carry us at least one more dimension before running out. I brought you down here because when it does begin to fail, I will need you to supplant it with your star-power instead. We can only pray that it is a compatible energy source with the ship.”

Mithrandir stood observing the room silently, his right arm folded and his left rubbing the bottom of his chin.

The power of the ship… that must have been the enormous chakra signature Kurotsuchi had seen he thought.

Though Mithrandir could not see chakra or sense it, he did have a keen sense for life force, especially that of beings above 150, which was the rough average of those he encountered. Kurotsuchi was the largest life force-being he’d encountered outside himself. His hands dropped and he looked at Najmec as the thing in the back of his mind finally surfaced.

“Someone else is on this ship,” he said in an intense and low voice.

“I sense the presence of life, a strong life.” He said as he made his way cautiously towards the door. He could follow his senses and find whatever the thing or person was, with or without Najmec.

Najmec phased through a wall and walked alongside the brute warrior with an anxious tone of voice.

“Mithrandir… I know there is something… someone, here. Bu-”

Mithrandir paused and stared at him in bewilderment. “Why would you not tell us?”

“I was going to, but I wanted to confirm the being was not an undead; I could only do so if I let you first sense him. Now that you have, allow me to lead you to where he is.”

Najmec took a left turn down a metallic and cool hallway, Mithrandir’s glowing body following close behind. The two took yet another level down until they were in the lowest level of the ship and a small narrow hallway that went two ways. Najmec walked down the path to the right until he reached an enormous door with no apparent nob or lock; it appeared to be a wall. He reached out his hand and immediately various letters of an alien alphabet revealed themselves in a teal-blue glow. There was a small hum, and the wall separated.
The two men walked in, and immediately saw the visitor.

Inside of a light green tank floated a naked male with silver hair and pale skin. There were strange tatoos along the man’s shoulder and back.

“What is he?” Mithrandir said calmly as he walked up close and circled the tank.

“I am not yet sure… I need your help taking him out of the tank for testing so that we can find out.”

Mithrandir paused and stared at Najmec. Unlike Kurotsuchi, Mithrandir was not someone who thought a long time before making his next move. He wasn’t calculative and predicting. He usually followed his heart on things. Right now, though he would never admit it, his heart was set on finding out more about his own origins and people. It was unlikely that this creature was of the same race as Mithrandir, but he might know something about him that he didn’t. The opportunity to find out from a being that was clearly thousands of years old was priceless. Mithrandir also had the advantage of never fearing anything. He had never lost a fight, and was not afraid to encounter powerful beings who might test that record. Releasing the man from the tank did not pose a threat to him that he could perceive; especially not with Kurotsuchi around.

“Release him,” Mithrandir gave the affirmation to Najmec. With that, Najmec drained the tank, and allowed the cylinder of the water tank to sink down into the ground, leaving the man exposed. Mithrandir had summoned 25 angelic leech kings. Ten guarded the door, the other ten surrounded the tank, ready to grapple the man if neccessary. It appeared no grappling would be needed. The man hung there helpless, attached the cords, without any signs of life. Mithrandir could feel he was alive, but for some strange reason still unconscious. He thought for a second, as his leech kings grabbed him and took him off the cords, if this man was somehow responsible for the hoards. It couldn’t be…

With this, a leech king carried the large silver haired alien, and the other 24 escorted Mithrandir and Najmec up to the control panel area of the ship where the man would be tested in a special room, and where Kurotsuchi was sure to be discovering another world of secrets with the other Najmec.

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

The gang of galactic scoundrels had taken off using the ship as their main mode of transport. By now Kurotsuchi had resealed his war axes, now more interested in the ship itself. He was nowhere near Naj when it comes to interacting with machinery and the likes. But they both shared an affinity for discovering and knowledge. Kurotsuchi's appetite for it was probably only matched by Najmec's. Unknown to the pale eyed male, he subconsciously searched for what remained hidden. He couldn't quite place a finger on it. But he had a gut feeling that he'll be able to gain some clarity at some point. Naj and Kurotsuchi moved upwards towards the main control panels. While there Naj allowed the man to monitor what was happening inside the ship. This was done by using screens which were linked to spy gadgets. These things were located all over the ship. Naj was able to gain control of the computer, meanwhile Kurotsuchi looked on with a great deal of fascination. This was Naj's territory but the ivory haired fiend wanted to know more about it. If this ship were to be used as their main mode of transportation. Then it only made sense if they all knew how to take control and fly the damn thing. In addition to all this, Kurotsuchi felt peckish. The whole Yardin fiasco saw him work up an appetite for sure. As Mithrandir traversed the ship, Kurotsuchi took some time to converse with Naj.

"Ya gonna answer my questions?" asked Kurotsuchi, eager to learn what it was that prevented him from peering into the ship. "I have my suspicions about the large chakra source. But I think we will know more in a little while. If all goes according to plan, then my suspicions will be validated. In these instances, your Byakugan is of the utmost importance. Should your Byakugan come upon some blockage, then it only peaks my curiosity as well as yours. In the meantime, lets pay attention to what Mithrandir and myself are getting up to". Najmec stated while they tracked Mithrandir's path through the ship. Kurotsuchi had a few more questions about the ship itself and whatever Naj had learned about it. "Just how long was this vessel marooned for?".

Naj looked over at Kurotsuchi and smirked before answering. "The ship itself was there for seven-hundred and fifty-two days. Amazingly, it was still in working order, only needing a jump start. This vessel seemed to have travelled far and wide, all the while documenting everything. You may have already sensed it, but this ship is powered by something you know intimately. Chakra. It is the fuel, which is why I'm most curious about its origin. Doesn't it make you tingle inside a little bit?".   Kurotsuchi smiled before releasing a sigh. Mithrandir was at the door which housed the unknown behind it. "I don't tingle easily. In some ways though, I can tell that Chakra is life. I'm curious to know how its being sustained. Is it some form of a battery? Furthermore, how the hell did this thing escape my gaze? It's mind boggling but not impossible at all. I am desperate to know if those creatures hijacked this vessel. So many questions needing an answer. But alas, lets see what Mithrandir discovered".

Kurotsuchi grew excited as Naj and Mithrandir released the creature from the tank. The ivory haired male took in the direction where Mithrandir and co would end up. He wanted to be apart of whatver this was. This was his department as much as Naj's own. Kurotsuchi awaited their arrival, ready to get a closer look at the newcomer. He wanted to hear this person's story. What did he remember? Was he linked to them in anyway shape or form?

Dragon Up?
Crow Young

M

aleldil had remained in a sleep state as he was carried to his destination. While he was being carried within his mind his conscious snap as if some came, and turn on the light switch. At that moment within his mind physical manifestation of himself appeared. The surrounding area was entirely a black void with only him standing, and him being the only entity present.

The first thing that happens was a sharp pain that stabs his mind a sudden jolt of knowledge begins to overwhelm him. It happens so fast but it didn't tell him much other than his name, age, abilities, and bits of pieces of conflict, and war.

Falling to his knees at the moment he couldn't comprehend what happened to him nor him nor his purpose. He could hear voices outside but couldn't bring himself to wake up. He understood he was still sleeping but at the same time, something was preventing him to fully awake.

He needs answers, and he knew that so is this his body way of helping him. All he could do is listen. His bodily function only allows though, and hearing of the outside world he was indeed trapped in his mind.

Suddenly a black, and white manifestation appeared in a humanoid shape. The manifestation calls out, and said," Greeting Maleldil, believe me, I know you have some question. But right I want you to listen ... Yes listen to what is going on now, and judge what you shall do next. Right now you have been given a chance to hear before acting. You have been given a chance to live." Maleldil didn't speak or say anything he instead listens as he slowly begins to gain his bodily control back.

Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
AND HE WAS GOD

Mithrandir stood near at the end of the door as Najmec tended to the white-haired alien laying on the table. A blanket was placed upon him, and he was strapped to the table with black iron bands to his wrists and ankles. It was presumed the man had formidable strength, but the degree of which was left to be seen. They were now at the same level of the ship as Kurotsuchi and the other Najmec, albeit twenty yards away in the only room that existed on that level. It was obvious by design that the room they were in was made for medical procedures. Perhaps that’s what Najmec thought would happen, but Mith had different assumptions. When he laid the man down, their hands had grazed one anothers. In doing so, it sent a strange shock running through Mithrandir’s body that was unfamiliar. Given that Mith was a being with a quite literally perfect body, he was not someone used to feeling things he didn’t command. The feeling he felt was a kind of nausea and at the same time, a familiarity. Since feeling this strange shock, his perspective of the man had changed. He’d almost seemed… familiar. Though Mith knew the two could’ve never met before, his instincts told him they had something to do with one another. His biology was certainly responding differently. Though Mithrandir did not know from which species he came, making it difficult to categorize all the things happening inside and through him. Quite often he felt like his body had a mind of its own. It could do certain things instinctively, and if he wasn’t careful, those things would be done against his will. He recalled that when Kurotsuchi and he were children, they could not spend a lot of time together in close proximity or Mithrandir’s body would go into full-on attack mode. It was as if his body instinctively felt threatened by Kurotsuchi.

Something similar was happening to him in relation to this new stranger. Though the feeling was one of a more positive nature. He could feel his golden skin hardening, his pectorals, abs, biceps, glutes and quads swelling; battle mode was coming. Mithandir stepped back ten meters from the table and stood in front of the door, arms folded. He allowed Najmec to speak whatever nonsense he would speak to the stranger in hopes it would somehow awaken him. Mithrandir only cared about answers at this point. Though he didn’t want to admit, he wished Kuro was in the room to think about what was best to do in this situation. Mithrandir felt like a loose canon in the moment. Like at any moment his body would rip the man apart for no apparent reason. Being that he couldn’t trust himself at the moment, he wanted other eyes on the situation. Speaking of eyes, the byakugan would’ve been useful in detecting exactly what was going on inside the man. Mithrandir could sense that he was alive and had above average life force, but his consciousness was a mystery.

Mithrandir’s eyes widened, when suddenly the man awoke. The room was empty save for the single bed in the center, and small machines that surrounded it, and were attached to the table. Without the cords specifically touching the man, they were taking his vitals. When the man sat up, the chains were instantly broken, and the machines that were monitoring his vitals began to scatter in disarray.
Mithrandir’s body began to vibrate until it almost hurt. He placed himself against the door and held onto the walls. His 25 leech kings were in front of him, five rows of five. He was in no danger, and the thing he feared the most at this moment was himself.

The man looked at Najmec, seemingly confused. Out of his mouth came an alien tongue/langage. Whatever it was, he spoke it fluently, and spoke it with increased aggression at Najmec, who seemed to marvel with boyish excitement at the alien. Mithrandir did not feel anger but a bit of anxiety from the creature. Instinctively, his leech kings moved in to surround the table on all sides, prepared to subdue the man at all costs. Mithrandir was not entirely in his right-mind, but thankfully his leech kings had sentience outside of his mind. This meant that they could make decisions and respond without his direct command and according to the general orders they were programmed with upon conception.

The room shook suddenly, when the man yelled a terrible cry, his eyes now meeting Mithrandir’s. Mithrandir felt a jerk in his stomach and without thinking he responded to the man in the same tongue/language.

“Where am I?!” the man screeched.

“You are on board a ship headed to the sixth dimension. We are not here to harm you, we took over the ship and found in you in a tank on the lower deck. We were hoping you could help us get to where we are headed.”

“I sense another power here… where is he?”

Mithrandir knew he spoke of Kurotsuchi.

“He’s just outside; we mean you no harm. You are free to move around off the table, and follow us to the main panel room. If you’re not feeling well, Najmec will continue to help provide you with sustenance until you’re able.”

“I… I’m fine.”

Mithrandir had one of his leech kings form a shirt and shorts from its plant-based skin and place it on the bed of the alien. As it did, Mithrandir opened the door and quickly left towards the main control panel area. Mithrandir fell to his knees in the center of the room. He didn’t understand what was happening or his connection to this man. The control panel was similar to the batcave. There was an enormous screen(s) and a long desk that followed. Except in this room there weren’t screens, there was galaxy and universe. A forty meter-wide glass panel looking to the outside universe. Everything around and behind it was equipment for steering the spaceship and measuring everything around it. Kurotsuchi was present, as was the other Najmec. Mithrandir felt an arm on his back as he arose to calmly gather himself and look out upon the stars. The silver-haired man would be joining the party shortly.

How did he know how to speak that language?

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

The bone thug desired to join Mithrandir in order to get a closer look. Naj on the other hand had other ideas. Kurotsuchi halted his approach and so they opted to remain in the control room. From there, Naj hacked into the ship, thus allowing Kurotsuchi to not only see but hear what was being said. He watched ever so carefully as the stranger was placed on the operating table. But it didn't remain so for much longer. In the mean time, Naj made Kurotsuchi's privy to Mithrandir's vitals. The ship itself was most unique, revealing Mithrandir and the strangers own readings. He could see the change in Mithrandir was made him all the more curious. "How strange. What did you think caused that?". Kurotsuchi spoke allowed referring his question to Najmec. Mith's response to the silver-haired man was most interesting. He pondered if he would respond the same being in close proximity.

"A connection maybe? Mithrandir and his creations didn't seem at all comfortable. Its amazing when you see their formation. Quite militant I'd say. A bit on the side of caution if you ask me".  Kurotsuchi smirked at Najmec before releasing a sigh. He was quite content at the moment. There was no need to rush at all. Mithrandir and company will be there soon enough. Wonderful, Mithrandir made it to their current location. Kurotsuchi flashed a fox like grin in the golden warrior's direction. "Bla da blah?". His gibberish was meant as a tease, no doubt in reference to the foreign tongue spoken earlier. Mithrandir possesses the ability to speak other languages and the like. Kurotsuchi dabbled in the language arts, but no as adept as Mithrandir. The conversation between Mith and Maleldil was deciphered in small portions. It was enough for Kurotsuchi to ascertain what was said between them. Now that this person was here, Kurotsuchi may yet get the opportunity to learn some more.

"You looked a bit shaken earlier. Was there some sort of a revelation? I don't think I've ever seen you in such a vulnerable state. Mind you, Naj was able to scan your vitals. If made for some interesting readings. Triggered is the word". Kurotsuchi moved and took a seat while Naj captained the ship as it moved through space. The opportunity to learn more about the stranger will soon present itself. Kurotsuchi smiled thinking of what the old man's reaction might be. Was the mission a success? Mithrandir was the one leading it, means Kurotsuchi has himself a scapegoat. Blame Mithrandir for everything. As much as it would be quite amusing to troll his sibling. Kurotsuchi wouldn't seriously lay the blame at Mithrandir's feet. At this present time, all he needed was answers.

aleldil went through the motion and didn't concern himself of petty conversation that holds no meaning or profit. The entity who spoke to him attempts to converse with him. A foolish gesture on his in as he will refrain for talking to lesser being them himself. The ship holds the key to all the information that he required it was that and his mind. Such petty attempts for the man known as Kurotsuchi was indeed pointless, and premature.

Letting out an annoying grunt as Kurotsuchi finish up his sentence. Not interested in such pointless attempts to gain insight. He withdrew from his current position, and position himself within a seat just 4 meters behind Kurotsuchi.

He rests his hands along the arm of the chair. He had indeed closed his eyes momentarily flicking through his thought. Trying to grasp his memories for the ones that were available from him. He did, in fact, took note of everyone within the room and the spacious area that was massive in size about a good 60 meters in height, and a good 40 meters in width. Malelil had mumble to himself in a low tone saying "Excellent".

Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
AND HE WAS GOD

Mithrandir regained his composure and stood erect and Alpha as he always did.

“My body went into a state of combat because it sensed a threat that it apparently understood better than my conscious mind.”

Mithrandir turned to the man sitting comfortably, arrogantly, in the chair four meters behind Kurotsuchi. He glared in at him, as he felt his body let out a big sigh and with it a feeling of whole-body muscle relaxation. There was something about the man that no one in the room knew, and it was dangerous. He didn’t need to say it, Kurotsuchi was perceptive enough that he could count on him to do what Mithrandir was thinking; use the byakugan to check his chakra network. Kurotsuchi knew more about the spiritual part of the body, Mithrandir the physical. Whatever was hiding within the silver haired stranger was not something physical or predictable; only Kuro could figure out.

Mithrandir turned to face away from the man and towards the starry universe as the ship moved towards its unknown destination. Mithrandir placed his arms behind his back and moved directly in front of the control panels, taking a moment to soak in the incredible view as his body finished its return to homeostasis. Kurotsuchi was about two meters behind him at a 45 degree angle to his left. Najmec, had come out at the same time as the silver haired man and began placing bots on him to check his vitals more accurately and enable his body to also gain a state of calm and relaxation. However long he’d been in that tank, it was clear he wasn’t struggling to feel ok.

Still looking out, Mithrandir decided to begin asking the million dollar question - where were they going?

“Naj… where are we going?” he asked, curiously. To be honest, he didn’t care. He had waited so long to be anywhere but Yardin that going to the surface of the sun seemed like a vacation.

The Najmec that had been tending to Kuro took to the center of the room and asked the three men to gather round as he revealed information he’d gleaned from the files on the ship.

Mithrandir stood across from Kurotsuchi, and the silver haired man sat in between them. Suddenly, colorful holograms appeared in front of Najmec, who wore an all black skin-tight suit. He began pulling up images of differents species and planets associated with them. As the images flashed before the faces of the three men, you could see the confusion. Finally, however, the scrolling stopped and three worlds and aliens were brought forth, resembling those present.

“Gentlemen, a little history if you will.
Thanks to that cyclone of energy back in that room, I was finally able to break through the system mainframe and gain full access to the memory bank. In doing so, I came across not only the records, but holograms containing not only memories but cataloged information. It would appear the ship we are on was owned by a race of beings known as… the Vanir. They were intergalactic pirates, it seems, who traversed various galaxies and worlds seeking to plant a tree they called Yiggradsil. Apparently it would feed on the life forms of the world and they would feed on it, gaining longer life spans and greater power. It would appear they worshipped the tree as a deity and they believed it to be the originator of all chakra.
It would seem at one point they were the most dominant race in all the nine realms  - there are supposedly nine main realms in the universe; but self-destructed at some point. Kuro… these are your people.”

Najmec paused and played a small movie/video that showed scenes of Vanirian life on their homeworld, as well as various battles and wars they’d waged.

“The ship was set up so that a Vanirian would find it and operate it in order to continue whatever mission they were on. It makes sense now why the ship is powered by chakra and you are unable to see through it. Now, the story gets better. Apparently the Vanir had an arch-enemy. A race of even more ancient beings known as the Aesir. I’d heard murmurings of these beings on Yardin but they were called something else. Most believed them to be gods that created life in the universe, but I’ve yet to have heard anything remotely specific about them. It appears they were the only threat to Vanirian rule, and they made as much of a study as they could about their enemies, albeit they don’t have much. I can tell by the description that these are your people, Mithrandir.

Glowing beings with supernatural bodies that could not be killed by normal damage. Capable of using starlight and controlling nature. Apparently they were the first apex predators of the universe, but vanished at some point due to a catastrophe not fully detailed. It is unclear where their whereabouts are or if… they are.”

Najmec turned to the silver man. “There is nothing on you except for your name and species; Name - Maleldil; species - Furyan.”

We are now headed to a world called Rine. We will be taken a dimensionl jump to get there, and it is as hidden as hidden gets. According to the ship, this is the last of the vanirian hideouts after whatever world decimated their people…
I know this is a lot to taken in… But we must continue on and follow the path. If we can find Vanirians on this planet, they might be able to help us determine where you all come from, and how - “
Najmec paused.

Mithrandir’s eyes widened for a moment.

“Cthulu…”

SOMETIMES A KING HAS TO REMIND FOOLS WHY HE IS KING

"A connection he says, then again stranger things has happened before. We seem to be coming across these extraordinary situations because of a connection. Where is all this leading to?" He pondered to himself as Mithrandir responded to him. Kurotsuchi kept his thoughts to himself while showing that he was as cautious as ever. His Byakugan activated as Maleldil positioned himself behind him. From there he was able to perceive the man. His body shifted ever so slightly in order to eliminate that annoying weak point of his. Kurotsuchi was able to see even more in far greater deal as the Byakugan scanned the man. The ivory haired Vanirian looked deeper at the man's chakra not to mention what dwells within him. His chakra levels were truly incredible, reminding of things he couldn't quite place. Kurotsuchi narrowed his eyes and smiled to himself. Mithrandir had reasons to be concerned. Simply sensing Maleldil wasn't enough, seeing it was a whole other story. "This one here is quite interesting. His chakra levels are astounding, truly. Let this sink in Mithrandir, his levels are almost as much as both ours combined. Amazing no?". Kurotsuchi made sure to share the information with Mithrandir. It wasn't used as a scare tactic or to rile Mithrandir. At the same time it was information worth knowing. Kurotsuchi had planted a seed of sorts, wondering if the prey would fall onto his web. The pale eyed one chuckled and cocked his head to the left. His Byakugan deactivated having now seen enough for now.

The time had arrived for them to discuss their next plan of action. This will also decide on their destination. Kurotsuchi stood his ground while waiting and wondering. Was there food aboard this damn ship? Not only that but he could do with a nap. He was still a growing lad who needed sustenance. Where others may feel uncomfortable around the stranger. Kurotsuchi on the other hand was the exact opposite. He'd hoped that this stranger among them would do something exciting. Just not while they're in the ship, that could be bad news for all involved. Kurotsuchi straightened up and looked towards Najmec. He was curious to hear what the man had to say. The ivory haired teen was fascinated by the ship at the moment. Najmec was always tasked with operating anything mechanical. That never stopped Kurotsuchi showing an actual interest. Stepped forward, Kurotsuchi gathered by Naj as per his request. Here he was to the left of Naj awaiting this big reveal. He waited patiently as Naj scrolled through a library of secrets, knowledge and images. All the while this was taking place, Kurotsuchi was learning more and more. Until finally they arrived at a certain point where things might begin to change.

Kurotsuchi fell silent as Naj went on his tirade. This revelation was truly something to behold. He didn't hold back and instead gave the information raw and unfiltered. Did he not understand what could possibly happen now? Kurotsuchi and Mithrandir were enemies by nature. So how are they even occupying the same place. Rocked by what was revealed, Kurotsuchi signed and reaffirmed one thing. "My people were never pirates and never will be!". He said flashing a look of disgust in Najmec's direction. His left hand rose and his index finger and thumb were used to stroke his chin. Kurotsuchi had questions, but he was of a similar thought process to Mithrandir. "Cthulu indeed. Just where does he fit into all this? I find it strange that we're only just discovering all this. So many questions needing answers. Call me strange, but have you ever felt trapped in your current state. This body of mine, its that of a teen's, in mind though, I feel like I've lived a life time already. Tis funny though, now I know why Mithrandir was always so hostile towards me. He couldn't help himself at all. And what kinda name is Maleldil? Ma-lel-dil the Furyan. In any case Najmec, can you please steer my ship towards Rine? I want to see where this mission will take us". Kurotsuchi's claim to the ship's ownership was only right. If it were left by his people, then it make sense that he would view it as such. The pale eyed fiend soon released a chuckle a shook his head in disbelief.

"Cthulu...".

he young Furyan didn't do much but listen to the words of the idiots in the room. It seems like they don't have much knowledge of what was going on anyhow, and what they did know it was limited. Snarling at the comment of the Kurotsuchi about his name which didn't sit well with him. Maleldil sat up in his sit leaning forward while his arms remain in place along the chair forearm.

Due to the disrespectable comment of the idiot. It causes the young Furyan muscles to tense up, and the forearm of the chair to receive tenser grip of the arm of the chair. Which result in folding of denting metal along with the sound that came with it. Halting himself from continue he grin as he spoke in his ancient language saying," Τέτοιοι χαμένοι ανόητοι και θα εκτιμούσα αν μείνεις το σκασμό από το σώμα μου με τα δικά σου μάτια. Ω, θα θέλατε να τους κόψω τον εαυτό σας ή ίσως ... απλά να ρίξετε μια ματιά στην καρδιά σας."

The young Furyan has been keeping up with everyone body language, and sudden movement since he had arrived. He didn't like these people no trust them. He didn't like his high chakra signature was revealed who didn't like the fellow who did it at all.

Standing up out his seat he positions himself standing upright awaiting for any action that would occur. He had stood up at the time after he completed denting the arms of the chair, and would remain to stand until stated otherwise. Don't get me wrong he had a vast understanding of thousands of language it as if these language pop into his mind believe me he had taken advantage of this.

Chapter One: Prodigal Mithga10
AND HE WAS GOD

The ship went on.

For two months they assailed the ship together, the three musketeers, looking to be at their desired destination any day now. In the meantime they’d gotten to know each other the most intimate of ways. Mithrandir spoke to ancient tongue that Maleldil did, and therefore his snarky and disrespectful comments towards the rest of the crew. Maleldil was taller than Kurotsuchi and Mithrandir, but not greater in physical prowess. There were worries that Maleldil’s enormous chakra levels would be a threat to the other travelers should he decide to work against them. However it was quickly calculated that he was inexperienced in the synthesis of that power into jutsu; furthermore, Mithrandir was still the most physically superior person in the room. Kurotsuchi could hardly be found outside of the library of the ship, where all of the stored information on Vanirian exploits, their homeworld, and much of their history was stored. Mithrandir had always admired Kurotsuchi’s love of knowledge. He was drawn to information and truth the way Mithrandir was drawn to life forms and celestial bodies. Since he did not have Kuro around as much to chat with, he took to studying the books and diagrams the ship had about celestial bodies and the various species they’d come into contact with from the worlds they’d visited. He was greatly disappointed that so little was known about his own people, but learning about every other species in the nine realms was the next best thing. It was astonishing how much information the Vanirians had obtained about other life forms across galaxies. They knew with such intimate detail the cultures and inner societies of these worlds. He wondered often how they had obtained such information and in such a short period of time. One would practically need teleportation to travel and see the things they had in even five life times. That was another curious thing about the Vanirians they learned. Their life span was in the thousands of years. They were not immortal, but the closest thing to it that Mithrandir and Kuro had ever experienced. Their biology was equally fascinating. Their flesh was quite average, and their cellular makeup not particularly special. But their bones were some of the most dense material that they even had come across. It’d made sense. When Mithrandir was a child, he recalled the first time he’d ever felt pain or been injured in any way was during a fight with Kurotsuchi. It was an accident, actually. Kuro had impaled Mithrandir in the arm with his bone, and the pain was unspeakable. His cells healed, albeit much slower than normal. During the time when he was not studying, Mithrandir had sessions to spend with Maleldil, learning more about him and what he remembered. He remembered virtually nothing, of course, and was of no use in learning about exactly how he’d gotten on a Vanirian ship that hadn’t been operated in an estimated thousand years.

By the end of the few months, they’d gotten to the point where Maleldil could speak english. Manners, however, would take much longer.

“Gentlemen… We are about six hours away from landing. I’ve prepared three suits for us to put on during the portal jump, and while on the planet. The ship seems to have no sensory of the ship prior to the jump, so any intel on weather conditions and the outlay of the planet will be a mystery until after we pass over. We have no clue what awaits us on the other side, so be prepared for anything. Maleldil, we are still unsure of all you are exactly… capable of. So I’m electing that you stay with me at all times in case of danger. Once we know what the world’s climate is like, we can stage a plan to land, find shelter, and head towards our target.”

"What is our target, exactly?” Mithrandir asked as they all sat in chairs around Najmec.

“The Vanirians apparently had an outpost here. A place they went to as refugees after their world was decimated. It was a secret that not everyone knew about and they made sure it was in a dimension few had the key to. If we find the outpost, we will hopefully find the remaining survivors. We need answers, Mithrandir. About who we all are and where we come from. Something has been happening in the universe in the last thousand years, and we need to know what’s going on.”

Mithrandir paused.

“That reminds me… What do we know about the old man? Who is he? What is he?”
The Aesirian had been growing in disease about the unknown origins of his “father”.

“Things were not making sense. The Vanirians were wiped out roughly one thousand years ago… Where does he come from?”
Mith pointed at his brother Kurotsuchi.

“My people are even more ancient, and we know nothing about Maleldil. There is something Cthulhu has been keeping from us, and I want to get to the bottom of it. I wa - “

“There is no map to destiny, Mithranidr. You’re angry because you are scared. You are scared because you lack certainty about who you are. The steps to where we are going are not neatly laid out. We will have to discover them one at a time, together. It’s time to suit up.”

Kurotsuchi responded to Maleldil with a smile in typical fashion. His rant was somewhat discernible. The ivory-haired teen was certain that Maleldil called him either a loser or an idiot. Not to mention he didn't quite appreciate the Byakugan. He was fussing over nothing and his actions showed that he was easily triggered. Maybe his species were designed to display nothing but rage. Its in their name if one needed any clues. Furyans! Kurotsuchi was certain he would get the opportunity to see what Maleldil was all about. Maybe now wasn't the time to anger him. A lot more was at stake right now. The recent discovery left Kurotsuchi yearning for even more knowledge of self. All they had now was time and from what they gathered, they would have some time yet before reaching the outpost.

Two months later......

Most of Kurotsuchi's time was spent researching and learning. He siphoned the information available, dedicating his time to retaining it. The Vanirian prince studied all the texts he could find and recorded history. His focuses wasn't just on his own people. He researched and learned about other species too. Kurotsuchi made sure to follow Mithrandir, sticking to his guns. Knowledge is power, and Kurotsuchi intends to use his knowledge to further himself. In the two months spent aboard the ship, he had minimal contact with Mithrandir and the others. Most would say he was distracted, but Kurotsuchi would have you see it as focus. It was his intention to harvest the knowledge and put it to good use. Maleldil was now more bearable to be around. Najmec was his usual self, always developing as did the others. Kurotsuchi felt vindicated after declaring that his people were not pirates. It pained him to refer to his people as if they no longer existed. That is one of the reasons why he wanted to reach their outpost. He was hopeful to say the least. Kurotsuchi wanted to believe that his people had settled somewhere else. And were living a prosperous life too. While learning all these different things, Kurotsuchi spent even more time learning about his genetics. Thus various ideas for jutsus kept popping up. It felt like someone had placed his identity under lock and keys. And with that his true identity was cast into the abyss. Kurotsuchi was slowly pulling himself back from the brink of oblivion. He could not afford to stop now and see his efforts wasted. Kurotsuchi felt as if the ship was placed there to help him on his journey of self discovery. Be that as it may, the youngster hoped that he wasn't a mere pawn in someone else's game. Kurotsuchi knew that it was almost time for them to reach their destination. It was ironic really, Kurotsuchi once said he didn't tingle easily. So why was his stomach twisting in knots and his heart pounding? A few moments were spared so that he may gather himself. Kurotsuchi wasn't the type to lose his composure, far too much of a deep thinker.

Kurotsuchi gathered with the others in order to listen to Najmec's plans. It was true that the unknown awaited them. But this did not stop the ivory haired one feeling excited. He did contain himself, showing no visible signs. As cool as a cucumber as they say. Najmec had the floor and was its main speaker. Kurotsuchi looked over at Mithrandir as the man pointed in his direction. Kurotsuchi sighed and looked around the room before closing his eyes. "Questions, answers, questions and even more answers. Truth be told we have no answers just yet. A bit cliche, but it only takes a spark to get a fire going. Maybe this is it, Mithrandir. Najmec is right about you though. At the same time try not to despair, if we can't find the answers out here. Rest assured we will force the old man to impart his knowledge on us when the time is right. Its now time to get ready". He stated with conviction before proceeding to suit the fuck up. This could be the trip of a life time.
